Great for dry skin 🫶🏻
I have very dry and very sensitive skin, so for me it’s super important to be moisturized and to feel moisturized for a long time. I’m happy that this gives me exactly that and soothes the skin, despite a lot of fragrance! I find their foaming shower gel can instead irritate afterwards, so I’m glad this variant exists. The product is intended for dry skin, and I think it lives up to that! I’ve tried other shower oils that I actually think are better than this one. They foam more and give a feeling of washing clean, but still keep the oil formula. This one has a more oily feel and leaves a bit of a film on the skin that can make you feel like you’re not quite clean. Despite that, as I said, it fulfills being a very moisturizing product. So all in all, I still like it, but there is room for improvement 💛 Nice packaging. Nice addition if you have your favorite scent
Always exciting to try a product I haven't tested before! Hair & body mist from beloved Rituals, a brand that truly breathes calm. Mehr is a top favorite of mine among their scents, so I was looking forward to seeing how it turned out in this form. I think it fits best for days when you take the time to take care of yourself, like a home spa or an everything shower. (Perfect that they have the scent in many products for such occasions if you've found a favorite). The spray nozzle is light, and so is the product itself. I've tested it both on skin and in hair, and since it's a mist, it mostly gives scent and a hint of fragrance a while after application. If you're heading out or getting ready for the day or a night out, I prefer other perfumes that give something other than a spa feeling. It gets 4/5 from me since I prefer to buy other products from Rituals over this one as it somewhat loses its purpose and blends into the crowd. However, I recommend it if you want to smell your Rituals scent as much as possible! Positively surprised!!
Mehr is truly my favorite scent at Rituals and the scent comes through without having changed. I have very, very dry skin and it feels soothing and nice to put on the hand cream. The formula is rich but quickly absorbs into the skin and gives soft hands. The packaging feels sturdy and luxurious, but not unnecessarily complicated, which feels good because then you know you’re paying for the content and not just the packaging. Good size and nice to carry with you. This is the first time I’m trying hand cream from Rituals and I’m so positively surprised! That a product can give a tingle?? I think this one is so incredibly gorgeous! And the scent is magical as always🧚 Fantastic glitter that gives such a nice gloss with just a few swipes. Perfect from day to night
Oh, oh, oh how I love this! Super pretty shimmer that looks a bit wet on the eyelids. I really love the contrast of it being golden with blue pigments. Warm Scent
At first spray, I wasn't completely sold as the scent had a sting and felt a bit too "headache-inducing"-perfumey. It was quite sharp right away and not my type of scent at first. However, after a while, something happens with the scent. It becomes warmer and softer, almost a bit creamy. I can feel that the amaretto & coffee sensation comes through more clearly. More elegant than at first sniff. Once it settles completely after about 1.5-2 hours, it actually becomes really cozy and skin-close. That's when it's at its finest in my opinion. I think it's the tonka bean that comes through here. It's important to know that this is a perfume that develops over time. The scent lasts really long, and I like that extra much because that's when it smells best in my opinion! Let my friend try it too, and she said the same, that it lingered after showering, etc. I think it suits best for evenings and a bit of rougher autumn weather. Elegant but deep. Not old-fashioned! Today the sun peeked out here and with my little fixes I felt so fresh!! 🫧 What I usually do is dye my eyebrows and brush them into place with a brow gel. 🤎 I have also dyed my lashes and curled them with an eyelash curler 🖤 I recommend Refectocil for dyeing, Maybelline brow gel Superlock, and Shiseido eyelash curler 🤍 What makes me feel extra fresh is the glow and life my face gets from St.Tropez bronzing water face mist ✨🌊 it’s absolutely amazing! Not a hit
Over the past 4 weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to test the Waterclouds Highlight treatment from the Silver Refine line. Here are my honest opinions and experiences. 🧼 I have thin, fine, Scandinavian, and treated hair. Three times a year, I go to the hairdresser to fully bleach my roots, as well as tone and cut my hair. 💇🏼♀️ Due to my hair type, I’m cautious about adding products as it can easily become stripy and weighed down with products, which means I have to wash my hair more frequently. What I like about this is primarily its ingredients! Natural ingredients are something I greatly appreciate. This contains Betain and Sea kale 🥬 The product has a light formula that sprays out easily. The spray nozzle also gets a plus! It really smells fresh and salon-like, but unfortunately, I don’t get a salon experience from it. Since I have very fine hair, products can easily weigh it down, which I feel this one does. It saturates my hair, and I can feel that I have product in, which for me diminishes the feeling of freshness. Unfortunately, I also don’t see any clear results in terms of a brighter, vibrant shade or shine, but due to its ingredients, it feels good to use. I have tested the shampoo from the Waterclouds series Silver Refine over the past 4 weeks. Also together with the conditioner from the same series. Here come my honest opinions and experiences about the shampoo! 🧼 Background 💇🏼♀️: I have thin, fine, Scandinavian, and treated hair. Three times a year, I go to the hairdresser to fully bleach the roots, as well as tone and cut my hair. Therefore, my hair can tend to absorb more of such products. Initially, the product definitely does what a shampoo is supposed to do, i.e., cleanses and removes dirt / product residues. It also fulfills the description of enhancing cool tones in the hair and intensely refreshing the color between salon visits. The series is categorized for blonde & ash-blonde hair, which I absolutely agree with. Besides this, it smells very fresh and has a lovely scent in the hair. I also don’t think it makes the hair too coarse during use despite my treated hair. 🪷 The points I have about the product are that I feel it neither gives a clearer nor livelier shade. For me, the result is more cool than neutralized and almost gets that gray tone that was popular in 2016. When the hair color goes in that direction, I feel the hair becomes dull, loses liveliness and shine. I also find that shine is quite difficult to achieve on light, blonde hair compared to dark, brown hair. It can look good in the right light, like in the pictures, I think it looks nice! But often I have experienced a dullness over the hair after use that I do not appreciate. I don’t know if it’s about my hair type, that I have treated hair, that I use several products from the series together, or that my hair color is very light. The shampoo seems to be powerful, which many will surely appreciate, but I would almost say it resembles a color bomb and on my hair easily overshoots and gets an uneven color distribution throughout the hair. 💜 I, with severe visual impairments, appreciate the difference in appearance between the shampoo and conditioner bottles as it really helps in the shower when I can’t read what’s on the bottles. 🫶🏻 However, I believe this product is great for some other hair types and shades! Especially if you are looking for a strong silver shampoo and are not afraid of the hair becoming more grayish-purple after use. Balm > Shampoo
I have tested the balm from Waterclouds' Silver Refine series over the past 4 weeks, among other things. Here are my honest opinions and experiences about the balm! 🧼 Background 💇🏼♀️: I have thin, fine, Scandinavian, and treated hair. Three times a year, I go to the hairdresser to fully bleach the roots, as well as tone and cut my hair. Therefore, my hair can tend to absorb more of such products. I don't feel comfortable when the hair color becomes too cool and gray. Then I find that the hair easily becomes dull and lifeless. For me, the result is colder than neutralized when I have used the balm and shampoo from the same series together. Almost like I get that gray tone that was popular in 2016. I don't know if it's about my hair type, that I have treated hair, that I have tested using several products from the series together, or that my hair color is very light. 🩶 I think the balm works better individually with a regular shampoo. Then I find that there is a suitable neutralization that is easier to control the amount over the hair and the result with. I also think that the balm alone is better at giving liveliness and shine but doesn't quite achieve the result I desire. I generally find that shine can be quite difficult to achieve on very light, blonde hair compared to darker hair colors, so it's a plus in the right direction. ⭐️ I, with severe vision problems, appreciate the difference in appearance between the shampoo and balm bottles, as it really helps in the shower when I can't read what is on the bottles ♥️ I will probably continue to use the balm now and then to freshen up, neutralize, and rehydrate. I think it did quite well on its own!
