It clears pores very quickly and does a very good job at what it's supposed to + affordable + lasts forever even with consistent use + results show quickly + a little goes a long way - dose not work well for dry, sensitive skin - can leave chemical burns if used incorectly I do recommend this product, but i think it works best with an oil clenser after using it as one can really get all the gunk out5650 viewsto leave a comment - 1 week
Use with Retinoid?
I would like to have a good peeling that helps my skin with both pores, pigmentation, a bit of scars, wrinkles, and uneven skin. Today I use Beauty of Poseum or whatever it's called. I am not at all satisfied with this as I get pimples. So I am wondering if this might be good? I use other products from The Ordinary, including Retinoid serum some evenings. Do these two work together or should I skip Retinoid when I use this? Is there any other product from this brand that might fit my wishes or should I try this? Best, Sara136 views- Farmaceut på Lyko1 weekHi Sara😊 Thank you for your question✨ I understand that you are looking for something that really makes a difference – and this peeling can be a good step depending on what your other skincare routine looks like. But since it is quite active, it is important not to use it together with retinoid on the same night. It simply becomes too much for the skin, and can disrupt the skin barrier, which can lead to breakouts and sensitivities. My tip is that instead you try using an even milder peeling 1-2 nights when you are not using retinoid – preferably alternating with soothing and moisturizing products. This helps the skin to recover and reduces the risk of irritation. And as we always remind - don’t forget sunscreen every day! 🌞 Here are tips for a mild peeling that you can try lyko.com/sv/dermalogica/dermalogica-daily-milkfoliant-travel-13-g if the skin still gets irritated, I suggest reducing or completely backing off your retinoid. Peeling and Sun
Hi, I have a question regarding the use of The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. I used the product in the evening according to the instructions and then applied CeraVe Moisturising Lotion. The next day, I went outside for about 10 minutes without sunscreen, as I didn’t know that the skin becomes extra sensitive to the sun after the treatment. My question is: Is there a risk that I will get pigmentation spots (hyperpigmentation) after such short sun exposure? And what do you recommend I do now to protect my skin and avoid any potential damage? Thanks in advance352 views- Farmaceut på Lyko3 weeksHi S.B✨ Thank you for your question – it’s really great that you’re aware of this! The risk of pigmentation spots after 10 minutes of sun without SPF is very low, especially if you haven’t burned. But since the skin is extra sensitive after AHA/BHA peeling, it’s important to properly moisturize the skin (your CeraVe lotion is perfect). Also, use sunscreen (SPF 50) every day, this is super important! Also avoid new acids until the skin feels completely restored/calm, and preferably some after sun like aloe vera afterwards. Tip: lyko.com/sv/urtekram/urtekram-aloe-vera-gel-100-ml Note! Also, only use this peeling in the evening🌛 I hope my answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice Friday🌞

Question about using acid peeling after laser treatment
Hi, is it okay to use The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution after a laser treatment? If so, how long should I wait before I start using it again?282 views- 3 weeksThank you for your response – I appreciate that you took the time. I do the treatment myself at home and use the Philips Lumea Prestige IPL (model BRI957/00) about every other week. So it’s not a professional laser treatment, but IPL technology adapted for home use. Just wanted to clarify that so you know what type of treatment it is. Thanks again.1 likes

The ordinary 😊
You get the smoothest skin, be careful when using might cause some burning on skin if used too long, start with 5min and then go up to 10min :)1901 viewsto leave a comment - 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Combine with retinal
Can this be used together with The Ordinary's 0.2% retinal (not in the same routine)?1606 views- Skin therapist at Lyko3 monthsHeihei Marianne 👋 These products should be used with caution and not on the same evening. Here’s how you can safely use them together in a routine – but spread over different days ⬇️ Important tips: ❌ Do not use AHA/BHA and retinal on the same day – it increases the risk of irritation and sensitivity. 🧴 Moisture is key: Use a good moisturizer after both active products to support the skin barrier. 🌞 Sun protection is a must: Both AHA/BHA and retinal make the skin more sun-sensitive. Use SPF 30+ every day, even when it’s cloudy. 🧪 Start slow: If you’re new to retinal, use it only 1-2 times a week at first, and gradually increase. 💧 After AHA or Retinal: Finish with soothing and moisturizing products like: The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane lyko.com/no/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-natural-moisturizing-factors---ha---100ml lyko.com/no/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-100-plant-derived-squalane Wishing you a nice day ahead 🥰

The OrdinaryAHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 30 ml
10-Minute Exfoliating Facial.
With 30% Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (Glycolic/Lactic/Tartaric/Citric), 2% Beta Hydroxyl Acid (Salicylic Acid), Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer, Vitamin B5, Black Carrot and Tasmanian Pepperberry. Alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA) exfoliate the skin's topmost surface for a brighter and more even appearance. Beta hydroxyl acids (BHA) also exfoliate the skin with an extended function to help clear pore congestion. This combined 32% AHA/BHA solution offers deeper exfoliation to help fight visible blemishes and for improved skin radiance. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture and reduces the look of fine lines with continued use. This formula contains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use. This derivative is of plant origin and varies in colour seasonally and this colour variation may be apparent in the formula from time to time. This formula is further supported with a crosspolymer form of hyaluronic acid for comfort, Vitamin B5 to assist healing and black carrot as an antioxidant. Contraindications: This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin.
Please refer to additional sun protection note and other warnings in provided Directions.
Note: While exfoliating acids can result in quick visible benefits, we generally suggest indirect forms of skin exfoliation in favour of direct forms such as this formula due to potential inflammation and sensitivity associated with acids. Please refer to NIOD's Non-Acid Acid Precursor for such a reference.
Use:
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than twice per week. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck using your fingertips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off.
This low-viscosity solution is intended to be used as a masque. Do not leave on for longer than 10 minutes. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Use only as directed. Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.)
