Really good, almost a perfect score...
I have now tested this moisturizer for about a month and I am really impressed!! To start with, I am very fond of the packaging! Not only is it really nice, but I also love the lid itself – not a screw cap like it usually is (which personally drives me crazy, having to get it right on the threads or whatever it's called), but this lid you just pull off and when you're done you just press the lid back on, no twisting 😊 Then pressing on the container itself to get exactly the right amount is magical! I love packaging like this and definitely worth 5 stars. Before we get into how I experience the cream itself, here’s a quick overview of my skin type: 👋Mature. 👋Normal, but tends to be dry during the colder months. 👋Can be a bit sensitive. What I like about this: 👌I love that it is rich in a "non-greasy" way. 👌It absorbs very quickly, leaves absolutely no sticky residue. (I don’t have to wait forever to put on makeup in the morning!) 👌I don’t notice any scent at all and as far as I can see, it’s completely fragrance-free, big plus! 👌I haven’t had any negative reactions to it, so I’d say it’s also suitable for sensitive skin. 👌Gives a nice "just right" glow. 👌For me, the most important thing is that a day cream doesn’t clash with foundation, and this one handles that perfectly. What I like less: 😐Unsure if it will really be enough for me in winter when my skin gets much drier than now. 😐If I understood the INCI list correctly, the peptides are quite far down the list, which suggests their concentration isn’t very high. 😐I think the price is a bit high. Nothing I will use up
A cream that looked like it could be fantastic at first but on the skin feels more silicone-like and superficial than deeply moisturizing. The ingredients explain this as it actually contains silicones that create that feeling of smooth and soft skin but don’t do much for deeper hydration. It also lacks deep-penetrating lipids like ceramides or richer ingredients such as shea butter. So for me, it didn’t become a new favorite; I wish it had more deep-penetrating ingredients to provide longer-lasting moisture. That my skin also reacted with some redness doesn’t help the rating either. But that’s not the product’s fault! Not for me
As a #lykoinflutester, I was lucky to get to test products from #paulaschoice. But this turned out to be a big disappointment, unfortunately. First, a bit about my skin type: I have normal skin, a bit sensitive around the eyes. I don’t know what, but something in it didn’t like my skin; I got red, pimple-like rashes within a short time, especially near the eyes. The skin felt sticky, neither soft nor supple as claimed. I also don’t think it smells good, more earthy. I’m also not a fan of the pump on the container to get the product out, luckily you could easily unscrew the lid. The packaging looks fresh and young, so I had a bit too high expectations for this product, especially at such a price.. A bit too expensive
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this peptide cream from #paulaschoice, which is said to work well as both a day and night cream since it sits nicely under makeup. It’s also fragrance-free, which is a big plus for my sensitive skin! My first impression was that the jar has a very ergonomic and hygienic design and the dosing, which I really like. Then it felt like good quality in the cardboard and plastic, etc. The cream is quite thick but still lays fairly soft and light on the skin. However, I find it a bit stickier and oilier than the one I previously used during the day, so I mainly used this one in the evening. I thought it added moisture, but with my current routine including serum, unfortunately, my skin became a bit too oily during the day than I would have liked, so it felt a bit heavier and stickier when I had makeup on. However, the makeup sat nicely on top as mentioned. As a night cream, I liked it much more since it felt lighter because I didn’t apply anything on top of it. Could be a good day cream now for colder and drier times. Overall, I like it but think the price is too high for me to want to buy it again. Love the packaging and that it hasn’t caused me any reaction due to the fragrance-free ingredients. Do I dare stop using it?
🌙 First night I’m very cautious with heavier products that feel dense and was skeptical the first night I applied this. I agreed with myself to stop immediately if my skin showed the slightest sign of rash or acne. I have sensitive skin and my routine has been working so well lately that a disruption was the last thing I wanted. 📅 One month later Now I’ve used the product throughout the entire test period and it has worked excellently, even though it contains oils and I’m generally oil-sensitive. Now I wonder instead if I dare stop using it? We’ll see… ✨ The result My skin (40+) has been absolutely radiant the past month. I already thought before the test month that I had found my perfect skincare routine and that this might disrupt it – but the skin actually got even better. I don’t think I’ve ever had skin this good before (if you exclude age as a variable). No redness, no bumps, not too oily, not too dry. 📦 The packaging And the packaging! I love that it’s a hygienic type of openable jar! You probably don’t need to open it fully until the very end, and I’m not there yet. 🧴 Consistency and use The cream feels quite rich, almost “blue Nivea-jar rich” (for those who get the reference), but it hasn’t clogged my skin at all. I’ve used the cream as the last step after toner and serum, and it has sealed everything nicely. The cream is too rich for me to use during the day, so in the morning I wash my face and use lighter products. But I think it’s worked well overnight. ⭐ Review The rating then? I really like it, as it has worked very well and I experience my skin as – just as promised – plumped. The packaging is a appreciated bonus. What I don’t like is the price. I think I can probably get a good sealing cream for a significantly lower price. But which one…? And will a lower-priced product give the same good results? Those are things I have to think about. An incredible packaging
I really liked this cream! It has an incredible pump that dispenses a perfect amount of cream with one pump. It’s nice and simple as well as very hygienic😍 The cream is richer and thicker in consistency than I usually like since I have a fairly oily skin type. But this cream absorbs well and leaves a nice glow🧴 A big plus is the peptides that the cream contains. Peptides are something you can combine with almost all your skincare, so it works great to use every day of the week. I have used it as the last step regardless of whether I have used retinal or vitamin C or another serum. It has worked great everywhere. But it should be added that my skin is not sensitive and rarely reacts to anything. My only downside is the price of the product. Good for the night!
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this moisturizing cream from #paulaschoice. The jar is fantastic, I love the pump function – perfect amount with just one press. The color is magical and fits nicely in the cabinet. The texture is soft, smooth, and easy to work with. It doesn’t really work as a base under makeup for me though, it unfortunately "crumbles." At night, however, it’s amazing and my skin feels moisturized when I wake up.👏🏽 It’s supposed to be fragrance-free but I still notice a scent that I don’t quite like. Very good!
I have been testing this moisturizer for a while now, and it really delivers on what it promises. The cream has a rich but surprisingly light texture that melts right into the skin without feeling sticky or heavy. The skin feels immediately hydrated, soft, and gets a really nice, healthy "plump" glow. This cream is also completely fragrance-free 😍 The hygienic pump bottle is a big plus, you just press down to get exactly the right amount without having to put your fingers into the jar. It also works perfectly under makeup and doesn’t roll. A bit pricey, but long-lasting in use and definitely worth it for dry or moisture-deprived skin now in the summer. I have relatively dry skin and think this cream has worked incredibly well now during summer/fall, but I think I’ll need one that moisturizes a bit more as winter approaches. This is a top-notch cream for everyday use and sits nicely under makeup. The packaging is also excellent. What brings it down a bit for me is that I find the price a bit high. Fantastic moisture bomb that creates the perfect makeup base
I have tried Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Intensive Cream and am incredibly impressed. This cream truly does what it promises when it comes to giving the skin moisture, plumpness, and a beautiful glow. Dry lines feel instantly plumped and the skin stays soft all day. What I like best, besides the results, is how incredibly fast it absorbs into the skin. Even though it’s an intensive and rich cream, it doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky residue. It works absolutely fantastic under makeup. Foundation and concealer apply so beautifully on top without rolling or caking, making it a perfect moisturizing base. Additionally, I have to give a big plus for the packaging. The smart pump function is incredibly convenient, hygienic, and makes it easy to dose just the right amount. The only downside for me is the scent. Since the product is completely fragrance-free, the ingredients have a rather special smell (a bit chemical or plasticky) right upon application, but it disappears quickly so it’s nothing bothersome in the long run. Perfect as primer and night mask ✨
Now that I have been using this for almost 20 days and everytime I use it my skin gets well #nourished. Whenever i put the cream it gets absorbed totally by my skin, leaving it #smooth and #glowy. I am really fun of the pump up packaging because it’s practical and hygenic! ➖The only thing I didn’t appeeciate was the smell. It’s supposed to be perfume free, but it smells like plastic. Rich cream for sensitive skin
- Rich, without being greasy, moisturizes very well - Does not irritate my semi-sensitive skin that tends to perioral dermatitis - Hygienic packaging - Expensive! Very good face cream
I have been looking at and considering testing products from #paulaschoice lately, so when I as a #lykoinflutester now got the chance to test some products, I was very excited. First of all, I think the packaging with the bright pink color was a fresh and nice product to have out. And what for me is the biggest plus is the way you take the product out. You don’t have to put your fingers in or use a separate spatula to get the product from the jar. You just press the lid and then the cream comes up and lays on top. So hygienic! Also a big plus that it doesn’t really smell much. No perfume. When I first tried it, I was a bit skeptical since it seemed quite greasy in consistency. But as soon as I spread it out, it became so light and nice in texture. It absorbs well into the skin. I have added this to my regular skincare routine, as the last step before sunscreen during the day. All in all very satisfied with this face cream🌸168 views
