Maria Nila Shaping Heat Spray
I have been testing Maria Nila's heat protection for about a month now, the first thing I thought of was the scent: The scent is very fresh and not too intense šø I find that my hair often gets a āburntā smell after using heat on it, but not with this heat protection. š It provides a light hold, which makes it easier to style and shape the hair. It doesn't weigh the hair down and left no ālayerā of product. Not what I expected

Did not do it for meā¦
Unfortunately not a hit for my Scandinavian straight hair. Flex pli from L'OrƩal is my go-to and works best on my hair. It still doesn't make the styling completely flawless and durable, but it's the best I've tried. Wanted to try this one because the spray is dry unlike L'OrƩal. But this unfortunately did nothing for my hair. It gave immediate hold when sprayed, but not enough to keep the styling afterwards unfortunately. It wore off immediately on me. I went from hating to use heat protectants to loving it! I've tried a few different heat protectants over the years, but most have felt completely wrong in my hair. Unfortunately, I ended up not using them because I felt my hair got so gross. Incredible for styling

Not for my hair type
Love many of Maria Nila's hair products and have heard great things about this one, plus all the good reviews. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work at all for my Scandinavian, naturally very flat hair. I've never experienced a hair product that makes my hair so terribly frizzy, and honestly it feels like it's become more damaged from this than without. Exactly what I expected
This heat protectant was exactly what I expected! Protects while giving texture and a bit of hold, which is appreciated in my otherwise quite hard-to-style hair... It can be a bit tricky to get the right amount (if you use too much, the hair becomes hairspray-hard), and I would recommend brushing through the hair between this and the subsequent heat styling.
