High coverage but featherlight on the skin ✨

Incredibly lovely foundation! 😍 It feels featherlight on the skin while providing incredibly good coverage. The texture is like a CC cream but the coverage of a foundation, which I love! ❤️ I often use a lighter base, but there are times when I want a more "made-up" look or want to magically cover redness, for example. For this, it is PERFECT as it achieves that without feeling like you have a thick layer of product on your face 👌 It gives a subtle and natural glow that makes the skin look more alive. I usually apply it with a sponge and then set it with powder ☺️ You need very little, so it’s long-lasting! Good packaging that makes it easy to get out just the right amount. I have dry skin, and it doesn’t emphasize my dryness. I can also be quite sensitive but haven’t had any reaction to this. If you use too much product, fine lines can be slightly emphasized, so I recommend starting with a small amount and building up if needed 😊 But as I said, you don’t need much at all for it to cover the whole face. I would skip using it under the eyes as it can crease a bit there (at least if you’re 30+ like me and have slightly deeper lines), just use concealer there instead 🌸 If you don’t use concealer at all, it might work there, but it’s because otherwise it can get too thick and then crease more easily. The shade Signe is a bit too dark for me now when I don’t have a tan or self-tanner, so pick a lighter shade if you’re pale like me. I’d also say it leans a bit yellow even though it’s supposed to be neutral. That doesn’t bother me since I have a warm undertone, but it might be good to know if you don’t 😄 Good packaging that makes it easy to get out just the right amount of product. I also appreciate that it’s a tube, which makes it much more convenient to carry in a bag or when traveling. For what you get, I think it’s worth the price! I believe it will last a long time and in my opinion performs just as well as much more expensive foundations. From me, it gets 5/5 🌟 #lykoreview

Glow, yes please – oil fields in the T-zone, no thanks 😉✨

IDUN Minerals Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation has a light, silky-soft formula that melts into the skin, and the medium buildable coverage gives a light glowing finish. It is moisturizing, vegan, fragrance-free, and dermatologically tested. I really like this one! 😍 It feels light and comfortable on the skin but gives more coverage than I expected from such a light foundation. It evens out the skin nicely without the result feeling heavy or very "made-up." I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and naturally, I notice that I can get a bit shiny throughout the day. I easily fix that with a bit of powder in the T-zone while letting the rest of my face keep that nice glow. That way, I get exactly the finish I like – fresh and natural, but not shiny. I think it looks best when I use relatively little product and build up coverage where I need it. I have the shade Gylla, and it suits my fair skin with a cool undertone very well. 🩷 An extra plus for the tube, which makes it easy to dose without getting out too much product. All in all, a foundation I’m happy to keep using – especially when I want a bit more coverage without the feeling of a heavy foundation. #lykoreview #lyko #idun #idunfoundation #ceciliesvurdering #sminke

Perfect for both everyday and party!

I have tested this foundation for over a week now, both for everyday and evening makeup. I am super satisfied with how you can work with it both in a thin layer with a damp beautyblender for a very natural look or apply it more coverage for evening makeup. It blends nicely into the skin and gives a nice glow. I have normal skin but that easily gets shiny during the day, but with this product, I think the shine stays away for a long time. I like that the product comes in a tube so you can easily use all the product in the packaging and easily get the right amount of product each time. A clear favorite in the makeup bag!

    Light foundation with buildable coverage

Disclaimer: I received a product sample in exchange for an honest review. The opinions are my own. The picture is unedited, taken 9-10 hours after application, without the product being set with powder. IDUN Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation comes in a high-quality squeeze tube, which makes it easy to dose the product hygienically. The product has a smooth and light texture that works best with a really dense buffing brush, flat brush, or damp makeup sponge. Fluffy brushes unfortunately tend to leave marks on the surface (these can easily be pressed away with a damp sponge). The coverage is buildable, but I prefer to use Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation in thin layers – then it really shines, with just the right amount of coverage and a finish that looks very natural. The product does not settle into fine lines and blends easily into the skin, but since it contains a lot of silicone, you need to be aware of which skincare you apply before use. I have several times experienced that Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation "rolls" off the skin in small balls. This is not unique to IDUN's foundation, and the blame can just as well be placed on my skincare – still an annoying problem. I have normal skin and do not need to set the product with powder for it to stay in place. I find that IDUN Hydra Soft Mineral Foundation becomes somewhat shiny around the sides of the nose after a whole day, which feels completely reasonable given the lack of powder. The product does not separate or become patchy during the day. In short: a very pleasant foundation for those who like the option to vary the coverage of their base. A silicone-rich product gives an airbrushed but natural finish, but you have to be careful so it doesn't clash with your skincare products. Definitely a foundation I can consider buying again!

    Long-lasting and natural coverage

I like this foundation and it is very long-lasting, you need very little product. The best result is achieved if you apply it with a damp makeup sponge/blender, then the coverage becomes even and natural. It can get a bit cakey in texture if you accidentally take too much, so less is more here. Provides a nice, light to medium coverage without feeling heavy on the skin. Stays nice all day and plus for many colors to choose from!

    Fantastic foundation

Very pleasantly surprised by this one! Gives a super nice glow and barely feels on the skin despite having medium coverage. A perfect everyday foundation that holds up well throughout the day, in the video I wore the foundation for a whole workday. Here I’m using the shade Disa which works for me when I’ve used self-tanner, I want to get one of the lightest shades for winter! Really recommend!

    Magical!

I have dry, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin and this is the first foundation my skin accepts without any reactions or breakouts. I also use it as a concealer on days I don’t want full coverage. So grateful to have finally found a makeup brand like Idun.

    Love love love

I have extremely sensitive skin that is dry and causes rashes. Most foundations get cakey, but not this one. Truly worth every penny for someone like me. However, I have to say you need the right tool. I first tried blending with a sponge, but it didn’t work well at all. A brush wasn’t great either. Now I use my finger and it works perfectly. So give it a chance and find what works for you 😊

    Which shade fits best?

I have Idun's powder foundation in the color Gylla, which I think suits my skin tone – I have thin skin that is red with some broken capillaries/ a bit blue – which suits pink shades. I like the powder version and also their green concealer. But on days when I have a lot of sunscreen on, unfortunately powder doesn't work as it easily becomes cakey. Therefore, I want to buy their liquid foundation, but I'm a bit unsure about the color – I think Gylla looks a bit dark, and for example Saga leans more towards pink and is a bit lighter? And what good liquid green concealers are there that don't make the skin gray, which I unfortunately think the Nyx corrector pen does. Thanks in advance ☀️🫶

    Alternative to Ingrid

Hi! I used the shade Ingrid in the Idun Norrsken foundation. It was perfect for my skin tone. Which shade of this would suit me well then? :)

Hi There can be small differences in the shades since there are different types of foundation, but even Ingrid in this foundation seems to be the one that most closely resembles the one you have used before 👍😍 lyko.com/no/idun-minerals/idun-minerals-hydra-soft-mineral-foundation-ingrid-30-ml To be on the safe side, I would recommend that you take a look at the shades in a store 💕 Take care!
