Good lotion, worse packaging
I got the chance to test this body lotion as an #influtester, which was very fitting since I was just on the hunt for a new one. I usually use CeraVe moisturizing cream (winter) or moisturizing lotion (summer), as my skin on my legs is sensitive with eczema and Iâve found they work well. But itâs a bit sad that they are fragrance-free, while Iâve felt that it might be the best option for me, at least in the areas that break out in eczema regularly. This body lotion from Estelle & Thild has worked really well for me, though. It feels quite light and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving any film, I think. Feels quite moisturizing and very gentle. Contains both shea butter and aloe vera, and is completely vegan. The scent of cedar and coconut feels fresh and lotion-like, not at all that sweet coconut scent that some love but I have a hard time with. The bottle is sleek in all its beige-ness, and in a way, you feel that this is slightly above "basic". 199 kr I think is maybe a bit high price-wise, but sure, itâs a nice body lotion! BUT something that bothered me quite a bit was that I discovered the bottle was only a little over half full, just like the shower cream I tested. When you like to point out that you are organically certified, it feels bad to simultaneously "green wash" in such a way. To consciously use more plastic and more transports, as well as mislead buyers about how much product they get. Even though itâs not uncommon today for companies not to act in line with their set standards, itâs actually not okay, and I believe we as consumers need to stand up when we see this happening. So even though the lotion itself is worth ââââ for me, I unfortunately have to deduct a star for the experience. UPDATE: This lotion has grown so STRONGLY for me, now itâs almost completely gone, but Iâm honestly considering buying a new one! Wonderful for the hands too. Disappointing
I bought this because I am a big fan of the scent of cedarwood and coconut, but I was quite disappointed.. I thought the product smelled expired or old. It's hard to describe, but there was an unpleasant smell in the product. Bra, men ogillar doften
Jag har fÄtt testa den hÀr produkten i egenskap av influtester, men lÀmnar alltid Àrliga och raka recensioner. Jag har testat lotion frÄn Estelle&Thild tidigare, och gillar verkligen hur den kÀnns pÄ huden. Den absorberas fort och lÀmnar huden mjuk och Äterfuktad i flera dagar. VÀldigt bra för mig med torr hud, och den fungerar extra bra pÄ vintern nÀr jag Àven lÀtt fÄr klÄda. Men just den hÀr har en doft som jag verkligen inte tÄlde. VÀldigt trÄkigt dÄ sjÀlva produkten Àr underbar. Men doften Àr stark, sötsliskig och pÄminner om söt kokosmjölk (med betoning pÄ mjölk). LÀmnade bort den till min mamma och hon fullkomligt Àlskar bÄde produkten och doften, sÄ det Àr ju verkligen individuellt.
