    For an INSANE glow🤩

I rarely use highlighter, but when I do, it’s incredibly important to me that it: 1. Gives a nice and almost natural glow 2. Has the smallest glitter particles possible Here it hits the latter. But compared to, for example, Make up store’s, it clearly gives more glitter and a more obvious glow than a natural glow. But still not too "glittery" to fall into that category. I went for the color "space cowboy," which I must say first of all – what a name! haha. Secondly, I’m glad it didn’t turn out too dark, which I feared. Previously, I’ve only used highlighters that are almost white in color (e.g., from Make up store and The balm). But this was totally fine! The packaging has a super interesting nozzle that caught my attention. It was really fun to see how the product came out from being empty to the highlighter slowly appearing. The design might look a bit cheap and not very exclusive. But the product is truly of quality. Even though I liked the nozzle, I think the lid could have had an easy screw function. Especially for people with weak grip and strength. Ideally, I want all my products in my makeup bag to be easy to open. The yellow combined with the dark glitter color isn’t very aesthetically pleasing to me… But as I said, quality in the product🙌🏼 Unfortunately, my skin has flared up a bit with pimples and texture, which this "highlighter" unfortunately emphasizes, making it more obvious. But regardless of makeup, it will sit better on nice skin. So I will probably only use this when my skin clears up again and on special occasions when I want ✨that little extra✨ In short: + Does its job (gives a nice glow) +/- Decent packaging but maybe change the color and function of the lid? - Gives an intense glow, but personally I prefer a more natural and less intense one - Highlights the texture of my skin (but again, something all highlighters naturally do) #lykoinflutester #urbandecay

    New favorite🥰

First, I just want to start by saying that I am a regular user of Urban Decay’s original setting spray. So it was really fun to get the chance to test this one and compare. The packaging is pink-orange (coral?) with a dark (but transparent) cap. Otherwise, it’s exactly like the original – same shape, spray function, and design. The spray function works fine. Unfortunately, I often (but not always) feel like the first spray can come out in drops rather than mist. I always spray once into the air before using it on my face to be sure. The packaging is very cute and summery. Unfortunately, it feels a bit cheap and not luxurious, which I don’t think matches the price. But the quality does! Which is the most important thing about the product😌 It holds makeup incredibly well, it doesn’t smudge. With the original, some days I feel like I HAVE to touch up my makeup a bit during the day, either by dabbing a tissue in the T-zone or with a bit of powder. But with this matte version, I don’t have to🙌🏼 Yes, I get a glow, but I don’t look insanely sweaty and the makeup doesn’t separate, so I don’t feel pressured to HAVE to touch it up. It should be mentioned that I don’t overdo the powder because I want my skin to look as natural as possible. I haven’t tested this with a full matte look from the start. PS. I’ve added pictures and video where you can see right after I put on makeup to several hours later where I’ve done a lot and haven’t touched up my makeup at all. My skin has unfortunately flared up a bit with pimples and texture, so the makeup doesn’t sit as nicely as usual, sorry about that. Also looks a bit orange since I haven’t used self-tanner hehe Finally, I just want to say that I will definitely continue to use this, I even think I prefer it over the original. Looking forward to seeing how this handles warmer weather, sunscreen, and real sweat😊 In short: + of all the setting sprays I’ve tried, this one is at the top of the list! + does its job (holds makeup nicely, and stays matte for many hours) + cute design (especially the color) + makeup doesn’t separate + doesn’t transfer onto clothes +/- if you want to stay 100% completely matte, I’m unsure if it holds - could look more exclusive to match the price - wish there was more “mist” in the spray function from the first spray #lykoinflutester #urbandecay

    New favorite in my bag😌💗✨

Why is this a new favorite in my bag? Well, because… 1. It smells good – not too sweet and NOT mint – something lip oils often do that I dislike😌 2. Gives INCREDIBLE shine without feeling sticky💗 3. The lip oil not only gives shine but also provides moisture 4. Easy to apply and you don’t need much to achieve results✨ 5. Works well with my lip liners, like comes naturally from Kylie Cosmetics (I miss the color on the applicator). Also works well with Nyx lip stains (which don’t transfer, I’ll write a separate review on these) 🤝🏼 The only thing to watch out for with the product is that when I open it, I twist it out gently because if you pull it out quickly, a clump of lip oil can fly off. The applicator is also very large, but I don’t feel it ruins anything, though I might prefer it in a slightly smaller size. Maybe also better packaging? But despite this, it’s my favorite lip oil😌 Will definitely buy again when it’s empty. #lykoreview

    Honey lover😋💛

First of all, I just have to say that this is SPOT ON for someone who loves the scent of honey! The first impression was the sweet, nice box the product came in, sweet yellow color and the «melted-wax-mark» with a bee on it. When I took the bottle out, I was a bit underwhelmed. It was very simple, no signs that it would smell like honey. I missed the sweet «melted-wax-mark-with-bee-on». But this became clear when I opened the bottle. The bottle has a lovely pipette and for those who know me well, that’s something I’m a big fan of, feels so luxurious! I have thin Nordic hair that is lightly bleached/dyed. This hair oil is light in consistency but gives a bit of weight in the hair. Regardless of the amount used. Maybe better for thicker hair? The first time I used too much in my hair so it looked wet. Therefore, it’s worth noting that a little goes a long way on thin hair haha. I should also mention that I have only used it on dry hair, I will try it on wet to see if it can help/be a better method. It absolutely gives shine, but doesn’t overcome the intense honey scent. I like honey, but for hair, that’s probably not the scent I would choose myself. But as I said at the beginning - if you love the scent of honey, this will be to your liking! In short: nice packaging, with pipette!! gives shine /- intense scent of honey (taste and preference) - weighing effect, hard to find a way to use little to avoid weight but also enough to get clear shine. Maybe better for thicker hair? Does its job, but not my new favorite. It’s been some busy days so I haven’t had time to take before and after pictures, I’ll see if I can do that in a few days. In the meantime, you can check out others’ posts😌 #lykoinflutester #hairsyrup

    Works mountain🐳

Oh there is so much good to say about this! It removes makeup and leaves the skin with a fresh feeling and glow. I have incredibly sensitive skin and was recommended this through the skin analysis I took via Lyko🙌🏼 This suited my skin really well! So the analysis hit the mark. I've used Garnier's micellar water (pink/original) for many many years but this is a good competitor! The only downside is that I have incredibly sensitive eyes where I feel Garnier's works better. For the eyes, there are some cleansing waters that I've had to use Garnier's on the eyes and this one on the skin. Some dry my skin out and I have to stop using them immediately. But aside from the eyes, I think this has worked better on my skin. I've also used other products that have helped and suit my skin better, so it's hard to say if it's because of this or those or a possible combination. But I have a bottle from Garnier lying around that I will use and see if I notice any difference. I conclude that they are very similar and have their own positives/negatives that make me likely to alternate between the two going forward, or combine them - the other on the eyes, this one on the skin otherwise😌 In short: 2B Suitable for sensitive and combination skin 2B Does its job (removes makeup) 2B Contains hyaluronic acid 2B Does NOT dry out the skin and gives a glow - I have very sensitive eyes so I notice this can irritate a bit sometimes. BUT this happens with other types as well, and many types I absolutely cannot use, especially on the eyes. From experience, this has happened least with Garnier's, and that's why it's the one I often go back to. #lykoreview

Incredible product! But such a shame…

This has truly become a favorite in my skincare routine. I have combination sensitive skin that sometimes gets breakouts. This has a place in my evening routine, and I have really seen a change since I started using it. My skin has fewer lines, and breakouts occur rarely; if they do, they are only tiny. I haven't had any major painful ones since. The product is in oil form, which I was a bit afraid of since I’ve never had good experiences with it before. But I think it has a lot to do with it being light and absorbing well. The scent is a bit strong, but it disappears quickly after applying the product. I also love that it comes with a dropper; it feels a bit luxurious. This has definitely become a new favorite! I’ve already bought another bottle! So it’s such a shame it’s being discontinued… I would have stocked up, but unfortunately, it’s in the most expensive price range, but understandable given the quality. If anyone has similar recommendations, I’d love to hear them🥰 #lykoreview

    ALSO WOW!😍

YES! Also wow! they couldn't say they had upgraded the products - both design and quality. From previous experience, I have had mixed experiences from makeupstore - a lot of good, but also a little less good. But this!!! made me say WOW as I applied the product. The packaging is classic, simple, and with soft edges. It is also smooth, so if any makeup gets ruined or the sharpener opens in the makeup bag and gets smeared with lipliner residue (hehe, might have happened to me), it’s easy to wipe it off🙌🏼 it also has a mirror! The only thing is with long nails, I wonder how easy this is to open? But I feel it’s easy to open and close, but unfortunately, I have short nails at the moment. I still think back to Rose Inc's blush with a magnet open/close function. Seriously, the ONLY thing this product doesn’t have that I feel could have been better. The product is pretty much flawless🤩 If I really have to search, hmm maybe a cooler shade? since most are warm? but again, I feel so fresh and that I have kept the summer glow into the wintertime🥹 The product itself is really what to talk about here. I have tried endlessly different bronzers but must honestly say I have found a new favorite. It’s like a mix between cream and powder. I love that it’s not too extreme in pigment, which makes it easier to build up than to be unfortunate and get too much on the first stroke. I really can’t get over how creamy it is! it melts into the skin and feels light as if it’s a part of my skin. A light glow too. No, I’m so so SO satisfied!💗 For the bronzer, I used my Caia pointed powder brush f10. Good makeup brushes also have a lot to say for the application of makeup. Feel free to check out my other reviews of blush, highlighter, and not least their domed powder brush #06 (which I tried with their blush), and their tapered highlighter brush🤍 In short: + blends/melts easily into the skin🫠 + easy to build up👷‍♀️ + feels light on the skin☁️ + beautiful packaging😌 pretty and with a mirror + worth the price, but mid-range on the price scale🤑 except right now as it’s on sale🙌🏼 + works well with both own and Caia's makeup brushes😚 #lykoinflutester #makeupstore

Super soft and light in hand😌☁️💗

First of all, I love how the brush is packaged. I've never received makeup brushes with these «plastic fish nets» on. It gives a very good impression that these are of quality and need proper protection. It's also very understandable for this brush, and their domed powder brush #06 is so incredibly soft!!! I imagine you have to be a little careful with them so they keep their nice shape. They are absolutely not compact, hard, and thick makeup brushes🥰 The design is sleek, the silver color is identical to Caia's. The differences are that makeupstore's are light (Caia:dark), soft, and light «hair» (Caia: soft but more compact/heavy «hair») and black writing (Caia:white). And finally: makeupstore's can stand on their own!!! A little wobbly but stabilizes easily after about 2 seconds. It might have been easier if they were thicker…BUT the fact that they are so thin gives a similar «brush» feeling, so I notice they are lighter in hand when I do my makeup. You can see the makeup brushes compared in the last picture☺️ I only tried this with their highlighter in the color Pearl Glow (wrote a separate review on that). Worked perfectly for that. But I was surprised at how soft it was. Almost TOO soft? I noticed I had to press the hairs together to pick up more product. But I let go before I was going to apply. But it's completely individual how little or much one wants☺️ I've only tried this with the highlighter but think that this might help to use on an overly pigmented product to avoid it becoming TOO intense. But this is just a thought, not tried🥲 I must conclude by saying that I was very positively surprised and these have been used since for blush and highlighter🥰 In short: + how it was packaged + nice design (similarities but also differences to Caia's) + design affected use - lighter in hand +/- very soft and light so it picks up little product - helps for a natural result, but if you want a bigger effect, maybe try other makeup brushes? #lykoinflutester #makeupstore

    Natural glow!💖

I seriously haven't bought a highlighter since I got my The balm mary-lou manizer! I was so lucky to test this in the color Pearl Glow✨ Compared to the balm's, this one is myyye prettier in the «powder form/consistency». No visible glitter particles. If you want a clearly intense highlighter, I recommend The balm's. BUT if you want a more natural glow, this is spot on!🥰 Perfect when using mattifying products and wanting a bit of life back to the face, but still wanting a natural finish. Or you use products that add glow but want to glow a little extra😋 Using their tapered highlighter brush #04 it was applied so incredibly easily and beautifully on the skin (own review on that). If you want a more intense glow, I would recommend using a more compact, firmer brush, possibly a smaller one to place on a smaller area but give more clear shine. But for a natural finish, their soft one is perfect!🙌🏼 The packaging is like the other products - classic, simple, stylish, soft edges. Just absolutely gorgeous!😌💗 I wish I had taken a video of it on my face too to properly show how glowy it is. I feel the picture doesn't show it enough. But you can see I placed it on the «bridge of the nose», the tip of the nose, on the top of the lips (forgot what that's called). But also placed on the cheekbones☺️ Also on the hand to illustrate😋 In short: + gorgeous packaging😌 + nice color (no visible/large glitter particles)✨ + gives a natural glow🤩 + blends easily into the skin😌 + looks natural🤍 #lykoinflutester #makeupstore
