I have tested these pimple patches and the originals in the red packaging. The red ones worked like magic for me, both on squeezed/open pimples and the deep ones under the skin. The difference between these and the originals is that these are supposed to be thinner and barely visible on the skin. I'm not sure if I can fully agree with that claim, but they are definitely thinner and maybe a bit more comfortable to wear on the skin. However, I have only tested these at night, as I often wear makeup during the day and then these become a bit too visible. I am just as satisfied with these as with the originals! They suck out the pus from open pimples and reduce the size of the deep ones under the skin. Fantastic!
I have tested quite a few acne patches, both classic hydrocolloid patches and micro-needle patches. None have really worked that well for me. My go-to is Cosrx’s, as they are affordable and easily available. But they mostly only work about 50% of the time and only on pimples that are already open/popped. I was very excited to test these. (Un)fortunately (depending on 😆) I’ve been struggling quite a bit with my skin lately, so these arrived in the mail at a perfect time 😅 I have tested them on both deep, closed pimples – you know, the ones you usually get once a month – and on popped pimples. And I am actually extremely positively surprised! They worked great on popped pimples, as they are open and these suck out the pus inside, and the pimple is completely flat the next morning. I sleep with them on, as they should stay on for 6-8 hours to work. When it comes to those deep pimples under the skin, unfortunately, they didn’t disappear overnight, but they were at least half the size! I’ve never experienced that before. Hero Nose Patch
I got to test these nose patches from Hero. I’m a big fan of the pimple patches from this brand and was really excited about these. I’ve tested similar products before, where blackheads stick to the patch when you pull it off. The difference from the ones I’ve tested before is that these are supposed to stay on for 6 hours. These are supposed to absorb oil and pore residue according to the description. I have quite a few blackheads on my nose, so I was looking forward to trying these. After cleansing in the evening, I removed the patch from the protective film and applied it to my nose. But there’s still a plastic film on it that makes it feel very stiff; I managed to remove that too, but it was very difficult to get off without pulling off the whole patch. The patch didn’t smell particularly good and it was a bit uncomfortable to have it on my nose. But when you sleep, you naturally don’t notice it 😅 After 6 hours, the patch is supposed to be white from impurities and you can pull it off. As I said, I have quite a few blackheads, but the patch wasn’t white in the morning and when I pulled it off, I didn’t see any difference, unfortunately. I tested it 2 more times with the same result, so it didn’t work for me. But I probably have more sebaceous filaments than actual blackheads, so maybe that’s why. Smells really like honey
I received this product as an Influtester. I have very fine, typical Nordic hair that easily gets weighed down by products. I rarely have success with hair oils, as I feel they often just sit on top of the hair strands and make my hair greasy and heavy (even when I use minimal amounts). This hair oil promises to be light, but unfortunately, that’s not my impression. I think it’s like all the other hair oils I’ve tested before - it sits like a coating on the hair and doesn’t really absorb. However, I do like the bottle. It’s glass with a dropper, which gives a somewhat luxurious feel. But the worst part about this oil is the smell. It really smells like honey - like extremely honey! The scent doesn’t fade either, and I find it way too strong for my taste. Moisturizing
This is a body lotion I've heard a lot of praise about for years, but never tested myself, until now ☺️ First of all, I love when body lotion comes in a pump bottle. I prefer it over a jar, as I find it so easy to just pump out the product and apply it. The bottle has a very clean design and looks nice on the bathroom shelf. The cream itself has a very light consistency that is easy to spread. I find that it absorbs quickly into the skin, but not in a way that makes you feel like you haven't applied anything, which I often experience with other body creams. The scent is very fresh and citrusy. I have to be honest and say that citrus is not my favorite scent, but I don't think it smells too strong after it has absorbed, which is a plus for me since I'm not a huge fan of the scent. I feel soft and moisturized all day when I've applied this, and I don't get sticky, which is a big plus since I can get dressed shortly after applying. I absolutely recommend this, but I take off one star since it's not my favorite scent. Moisture and Nourishment
I have very dehydrated skin, and especially in the fall and winter, I need plenty of moisture so that my skin doesn't look dry and dull. I have now tested this cream for a few weeks. This cream is supposed to promote the skin's natural cell renewal and improve the skin's appearance. It also promises to keep the skin moisturized for up to 72 hours. This cream looks very luxurious. I like the packaging, even though I generally prefer creams in tubes. I always use a spatula when I use creams from a jar, to avoid getting bacteria into the product. This actually smells like nothing, which I appreciate. I have very sensitive skin and do not tolerate perfumed products well. The cream feels rich, yet light in texture. It feels like velvet on the skin and actually keeps my skin moisturized all day. I haven't felt tight in my face on the days I've used this. It also absorbs quickly, which is a big plus for me. I also have acne-prone skin that easily reacts to new products, but I haven't had any negative effects with this. Lovely serum
I have heard about this iconic serum for years, but have never tested it myself until now. My skin is very dehydrated, easily gets blemishes from products, and I have some scars from acne. I need a serum that is deeply moisturizing and nourishing for my skin. This serum is supposed to provide lots of moisture, reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles, and is rich in antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. I must first and foremost praise the packaging. It is in glass, which gives a very luxurious feel and it looks lovely in the bathroom cabinet. The dropper works excellently and it is easy to get the right amount of product out. The serum itself has a lovely, slightly thick consistency, which I love! The scent is absolutely delightful - it smells a bit like a spa. I find that it absorbs quickly into the skin and my skin feels very hydrated and comfortable after application. I haven’t used this long enough to say if it has any reduction on fine lines, but I can definitely say that it has improved the moisture level in my skin. I feel much less dehydrated and the areas in my skin where I had dry patches are now completely gone. I also haven’t had any negative reactions despite having quite sensitive skin. Softening Leave-in
I received this product for testing and to give my honest opinion 🥰 I have typical Nordic and fine hair with a lot of frizz and some wear in the lengths. My hair needs a lot of care but gets easily weighed down by too heavy products. This leave-in conditioner is supposed to reduce frizz, not weigh down the hair, and is heat protective up to 230 degrees. It also has properties that are supposed to define curls. I like that this comes in a tube, as it makes it easy to dose the right amount of product. I applied this to freshly washed, towel-dried hair to blow-dry the whole hair. I find the scent of this to be milder than the other products from the same brand, which is a big plus. I don’t experience the product smelling anything when the hair is dry ☺️ Even though this says it shouldn’t weigh down the hair, I notice that «less is more» with this. I don’t need much product for my hair that goes just below my shoulders. I would say I maybe use an almond-sized amount for the whole hair. This makes the hair extremely soft and shiny, but for me, who has such thin and straight hair, I get the best result if I combine this with a sea salt spray in damp hair or a bit of texture spray in dry hair. Headon Dry Shampoo
I received this product for testing against my honest opinion. I have typical Nordic hair - thin and straight and a sensitive scalp that easily gets oily. I haven't used dry shampoo in many years, as I always feel that they leave a white/gray residue in my hair and irritate my scalp. I prefer to wash my hair more often, quite simply. I was very excited to test this dry shampoo to see if it stood out from the others I have tested. The bottle has a simple and nice design, and the spray function works well. It distributes an even spray in the hair. I tested this on hair that hadn't been washed for a couple of days. The first impression was that it has a quite strong, masculine scent, and unfortunately, it didn't fade throughout the day. I have nothing against scent in hair products as long as I like the scent and don't feel that it competes with my perfume. But this unfortunately brings it down significantly. Aside from the scent, I unfortunately experienced the same problem with this as with other dry shampoos - that it leaves a visible white dust in my dark hair. I tried to massage it in, use a hairdryer, but the result was unfortunately the same. I also didn't feel that my hair felt clean. There was also a lot of white dust on my black bathroom sink. Headon Dry Shaping Heat Protection
I received this product for testing against my honest opinion 🥰 I really love dry heat protectants before I curl my hair. I have hair that holds styling very poorly, so if they give a little extra hold to my hair, that's a big plus in my book. I have used this on dry hair before using a curling iron. I then sprayed each section with this before I curled. I find the scent of this to be milder than the other products from Headon, and the mist is very nice, it's easy to distribute in the hair. I think it's a bit wetter than the other dry heat protectants I've tested before, so I have to let my hair dry a bit before I go in with heat tools. What brings this down a bit is that I find it gets quite sticky and gooey in the hair. Fortunately, this settles once it has dried, but I wish it were a bit drier. It definitely gives texture to the hair, a bit like a texture spray. This is probably a matter of taste, but for me with fine hair, this was a big advantage. I don't think it provided much more hold for the curls, as they slipped out quickly again, but that's probably more about my hair type that struggles to hold curls.
