Not for me
I have tried this product from #lykoinflutester and #no7. Here’s what I think! Cleansing balms aren’t something I usually use, and that’s also why this one unfortunately wasn’t right for me. The texture feels very oily and creamy, and after use, I feel my skin is a bit too oily. I think I prefer cleansers that feel clean afterwards, and I like gel cleansers like Cerave SA or foaming cleansers. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m the right person to judge how well this performs since this type of balm isn’t my go-to. I like that it has a screw-top, it feels very hygienic! Lovely feeling on the skin!
I got to try this product from #lykoinflutester #no7, here’s what I think 🌸 Really like the packaging! Feels sturdy and looks very nice in the bathroom cabinet. Big plus that it came with a small tweezer, so it’s always with it and makes it easy to keep the product fresh ✨ You get a lot of product for the money since they are thin sheets! Glow in a bottle!
I got to try this product from #lykoinflutester #no7, here are my thoughts! First and foremost, I love the packaging! Really nice new design on their products. The bottle has a lovely feel with a bit of weight, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. I have really loved this as it gives glow, feels light on the skin, and provides lots of moisture! How I’ve used it is either before cream at night or as prep before makeup after washing. Previously, I liked Rhodes Glazing Milk before makeup and switched to this during the test, which I really didn’t think was worse! It does the same job and does what I want, love it! I was very pleasantly surprised by this, it gives an immediate moisture boost without feeling sticky. It is very light in texture and absorbs quickly into the skin. I think it works really well after their Calm Fix Soothing Pads in the same series, great combo! Plus, makeup looks really nice after prepping with this. Super nice glow!
As a #lykoinflutester, I've had the chance to try various skincare products from the brand #no7. This is not a brand I've tried before, so it's super fun to test something new! This review is about their Skin sip moisture milk! 🥛 First impression is the packaging, really cute and looks nice in the skincare corner! 🤩 This is a moisturizing product and is used as that little extra when the skin is screaming for moisture! However, I would say it doesn't provide deeper hydration but more of a surface effect. One downside I've unfortunately noticed with this is that it doesn't work super well under makeup for me; it tends to sit on the surface and can unfortunately make the makeup settle patchy. Cleans makeup well
I got to test this cleansing balm, and it’s a product that works quite differently from my previous cleansing balms. Before I tried the product, I thought the mechanism was quite clever. However, I was a bit disappointed because the product didn’t come out of the jar as smoothly as I had expected. You have to twist the jar, and the balm comes out as a sort of flake. The twisting mechanism was quite stiff, or the product itself was a bit too firm. I had hoped the product would come out more smoothly. What about the cleansing result? I have to say the product worked for me! When I rubbed the balm on my face, it melted all the makeup and it felt like the makeup not only melted but also disappeared from my face. This hasn’t happened with other similar products, so it was a positive surprise! The cleansing balm itself works very well for me. Unfortunately a somewhat pointless product
I have to say that I find this product a bit unnecessary. These are moist wipes intended to soothe the skin after washing. I have tried to use the wipes after every facial cleansing, but unfortunately, I have not noticed any effect from using them. I have fairly easily irritated and red facial skin myself, so I had high hopes for this product based on its description. The wipes themselves are, in my opinion, in a very functional container. The container is sturdy and has a closing lid, which keeps the wipes moist. The package also includes tweezers to improve hygiene, but I found them a bit tricky to use. In summary; a somewhat unnecessary product that I did not notice any effect from using. I will use up the wipes since I did not experience any negative effects either. Effective product!
I liked this product, although it was a bit unclear to me at which step of the skincare routine it should be used. The texture is milky but not too runny. The product was very easy to apply to the face and provided a lovely moisturizing feeling! I used the product like a toner, before serum and cream. I might have preferred a pump bottle or something similar, as I found it a bit challenging to get the product out of the bottle. A lovely hydration
I have tried this product for a few days now and like it more than I thought I would. 💫 The texture is milky and feels lovely on the skin, and it has no strong scent which is a big plus. It absorbs quickly and gives a nice, natural glow. I find that the skin feels hydrated immediately, but since I have quite dry skin, I need to apply a richer day cream on top to get enough moisture, especially during colder days. Nice exterior but worse interior
I have been trying this cleansing balm for a while now and unfortunately, I have to say that I am disappointed. It removes makeup quite okay, but I feel that it leaves a strange tight film on the skin afterwards. My skin doesn’t feel moisturized but rather a bit trapped and dry, which doesn’t work for me as I have dry and sensitive skin. 😕 The packaging is very nice and sleek but also very cumbersome. With wet hands, it’s almost impossible to twist out the product, which makes it impractical to use. I have tried several other cleansing balms before that I really liked, so my expectations for this one were quite high – but unfortunately, it doesn’t live up to them. Fun but tricky packaging
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is this cleanser. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. My first reaction to the product was that it has a fun and unique packaging! You twist the packaging and the product is "shaved" off. Fun! I thought, but it turned out to be tricky 😂 It’s quite hard to twist open and you definitely need to use some force. If you don’t have strong hands, this is definitely not a product for you. If your hands are a bit wet, it’s actually impossible. But about the balm itself! It’s very soft and melts easily on the skin, which is very positive. Works great to use on skin without makeup, BUT I don’t think it’s so good at removing makeup. Works with foundation etc., but I find it bad at removing mascara and eyebrow gel, you have to struggle a bit with that which I don’t want. If I have makeup on, I also have to use a damp cloth to remove mascara etc., and afterwards I use another cleanser. After using the product, the skin feels good! Not dry at all, which is a big plus because many cleansers can do that. So to sum up: A fun idea for the packaging, but quite tricky to use. It’s okay at cleansing, but doesn’t remove makeup that easily. I would say it’s a good cleanser for a bare face or just light makeup, less good with eye makeup. Good first step in the morning
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is these soothing pads. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. I tend to think that this type of skincare products is a bit "unnecessary" and not something I usually reach for; I prefer a regular toner or serum with the same ingredients! Easier to bring along if you’re traveling too. When it comes to pre-made pads, they often take up too much space in my bathroom cabinet and therefore end up in a strange place and get forgotten 😅 But about the product: I like that it comes with tweezers which makes it more hygienic, and it has a good lid that is easy to open and close but keeps the pads moisturized. The pads themselves are perfectly moisturized in my opinion! They are moist enough and large enough to cover the whole face and neck, but they are not so wet that the product drips. It’s easy to apply, and the skin feels moisturized and nice… but I don’t notice much more difference than that (yet). I usually don’t wash my face in the morning, so I have preferred to use these in the morning as a first step as a light "cleanse" and to soothe the skin. I like that they are pre-made pads because I usually prefer to use my regular toner with a pad in the morning anyway, as it feels like it removes some "dirt" from the face when you don’t wash it. Since they themselves recommend using it 2-3 times a week, I have done that, and on the other days just used my regular toner. So to sum up: my first thought was that it feels unnecessary, but I have liked it more than I thought! Especially in the morning as a first step. Moisturizing but confusing!
I've had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is this moisture milk, which is a moisturizing dream! But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. My first thought was that I didn’t understand at all what type of product it was. My first thought was a toner or essence, but on the packaging it says it’s step 4 moisture, and unfortunately I don’t think this is enough as a day cream. Because I was confused, I’ve tried using it in different ways: as a toner, as an essence, as a day cream, and after reading a comment here from a review that it should be used after serum to lock in moisture, I finally did that BUT also used a day cream afterwards. Why I did that is because I think the product dries a bit sticky on the skin and I don’t like that feeling, it doesn’t feel like you’re sufficiently moisturized then. Now I actually vary a bit how I use it sometimes as an essence (between toner and serum) and sometimes between serum and day cream. I think it works fine both ways! Otherwise, this product has a milky consistency that is thicker than a toner but lighter than a day cream. It’s very moisturizing and gives an incredibly nice glow! As I said, I think it feels a bit sticky on the skin when it dries in, which can be good before makeup! It’s very easy to work with and works well with my regular skincare routine. So to summarize: a super nice product that moisturizes and leaves a nice and natural glow. However, confusing about which step to use it in. Melts away the dirt
I have, as a #lykoinflutester, had the chance to try a bunch of products from #no7. Next up for review is the Glow grind cleansing balm, a cleansing balm with vitamin C and squalane. It’s supposed to deeply cleanse and care for the skin, and I really think it does. It literally melts away all makeup without leaving any residue. The skin is left hydrated and clean. The texture is a bit funny, straight from the jar it comes out as a balm, but in contact with the skin it melts into a milky texture, and it feels incredibly pleasant on the skin. The product comes in a jar with a screw lid, you twist the lid and strips of the balm come out. Kind of like a cheese slicer inside 😝. The only negative is that it’s very hard to twist the jar open to get the product out. You have to really grip it, and if your hands are a bit wet, it’s even harder. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test three products from #no7. Now it's time for a review of the Calm fix soothing pads. These pads are soaked with Cica extract and Niacinamide, which are supposed to soothe and hydrate the skin and should be used after cleansing but before other products. I find it nice to use these; it's a fun step in my routine, but I can't really say I notice any difference in my skin, maybe a bit more hydrated but unfortunately not more than that. The pads are well soaked with product, which is positive; one pad is enough for face, neck, and décolleté. The jar is quite large with a snap lid, which is convenient, but it's hard to store the jar nicely because of its size. Inside the jar, there is a plastic tweezer meant to help pick out a pad; the tweezer is flimsy and not very sturdy, so it's hard to use it—it tends to bend, so I end up picking up a pad with my fingers instead. First up is Skin sip Moisture milk, which is supposed to hydrate and give radiance, it is enriched with hyaluronic acid and squalane, which my skin also loves. The texture is like a lightly flowing milky toner, I was a bit confused when I saw it and had to double-check if it was a toner I had received, but no. I love this one, it absorbs easily and really hydrates deeply. I think my skin looks fresher and more glowing when I use it. It also doesn't clash with my other skincare products. In the last few weeks, I've been so lucky to test #no7's Good Intent Skin Sip Moisture Milk🌷 This product gives a lot of moisture to the skin and leaves a super nice glow! The consistency is somewhere between thin and a bit thicker. It lays down like a thin layer on the skin and absorbs quickly. The product is light and easy to work with. This time I've been so lucky to test #no7 Good Intent Calm Fix Soothing Pads🥰 The pads come in a nice pink box with a small plastic tweezers so you can pick up exactly the one wipe you need. It's more hygienic and you get a better grip on the product with these. The wipes provide so much moisture, glow, and hydrated skin🤩 After a long winter with dry skin, I notice that this is exactly what my skin needs. A big advantage of the product is that it is fragrance-free and gentle on the skin. It doesn't irritate and feels comfortable upon application. If I could wish for one more thing with these, it would be even more moisture. They give me what I need, but they could have provided a bit more for the price. Pleasant scent🌸
I have been so lucky to test #no7 Good Intent Glow Grind Cleansing Balm for a few lovely weeks now. The product is packed in a box where you have to twist the box for the product to become visible. It creates thin strips of product so you don't have to dip your finger into a jar, like with other similar products. This twisting mechanism is a bit hard/difficult to get to work, but the idea is good. The cleansing balm is soft and melts easily into the skin. It smells clean and not too much💕 It's easy to work the product into the skin to remove makeup, but it takes a little time. I don't find that this dries out my skin, something I often feel when using cleansers. So this is a big plus for me. All in all, I am satisfied with the product, it works as it should and leaves the skin clean.
