Pretty color, but I chickened out 🙈
I am a total rookie when it comes to self-tanner, and by that, I mean I’ve never tried it (as far as I can remember), in any form. And here came 3 variants in the same batch 😅 Of the products I’ve gotten to test, these drops are the ones I’ve been most worried about 🙈😂 I’m so pale right now that I’m afraid it will turn out uneven and show too much, plus I didn’t think there was really time to evaluate both the mist and drops on my face and then assess which product did what. So I did my own project where I mixed moisturizer with X number of drops to see the result, and that’s what I’m showing in the picture. The numbers in the picture stand for the number of drops mixed in my moisturizer. (In the picture with all three products, it’s just drops without moisturizer). I can say that the color holds really well, and despite a number of showers and scrubs, it’s still a nice color! Nice color, but revenge on my arch-nemesis!
I gradually introduced this and forgot to incorporate another product into my skincare routine. But after just a few uses, my arch-nemesis: the pimples got their long-awaited revenge and marched in full force, invading my face with a victorious grin! ⚔️😾 Me, being as stubborn as a pig, certainly did not want to see myself defeated so easily! I fought on, but my loyal companion by my side (my skincare products if you got lost in my messy story), but not even with them by my side could we defeat these overwhelming enemies. Lovely tan also for neck and décolleté! 🏖️
For some reason, I've had the problem that mousse doesn't give a dark enough tan on the neck and décolleté 😯 That's why I use these tanning drops to tan the skin on my neck and décolleté. I use them a bit differently than the instructions, but it works well for me: I apply them directly to clean and dry skin, I don't mix them with cream. Then I let it absorb and apply a layer of mousse on top. Positively Surprised!
Really positively surprised because the price is so low. Used Ida Wargs before but prefer this one now because I find the color less yellow on my (very light) skin. Smells good upon application, a bit tropical but absolutely not overwhelming. Then during the day, you smell a bit like BUS, but I guess that's unavoidable...? 👻🍬🍭 Applies nicely without mess. Apply evenly and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. ⏰ The color starts to develop after about 4–6 hours, with full effect after up to 8 hours. Fantastic product that is so easy to work into the skin along with moisturizer. Gives a super nice glow. Looks like you've been on vacation for a week! Perfect now in spring when you start to long for sun-kissed skin the most but the sun hasn't started doing its thing yet. I usually use about 4-5 drops. Tan-formation Self Tan Drops
I have now tested the self tan drops for a couple of weeks and would say that the product lives up to expectations. The first thing I noticed was the scent of the product. It is a lovely fruity scent that reminds me of summer. There is no hint of the typical self-tanning smell that is usually present in such products when applied. I have used this at night and noticed that it smelled a bit like self-tanner when I got up in the morning, but not very noticeably. I started with 10 drops the first 2 nights and then switched to half after that. I noticed very little difference after the first time, but the second time I could definitely see that self-tanner had been used. It actually gives a pretty nice color, but it gets quite orange with the hairline and in my eyebrows. This has always been a problem when I have used self-tanning products. It is probably mostly user error, so if anyone has tips to avoid this, I would gladly accept. ☺️ My eyebrows definitely turn orange/red from this unfortunately 🥲 I have before and after pictures, the first pictures are before. All in all, I am quite satisfied as it gives a nice glow to the skin. I deduct a bit since I struggle with orange patches at the hairline. 4/5 ⭐️ #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO

How to use:
Make sure your skin is clean, dry, and free from other products before you get started. Add 1–10 of Tanformation Self Tan drops to your favorite moisturizer – the more drops, the deeper the color. Mix well and apply evenly to your face and décolletage. No rinsing needed (how convenient is that?).
For a more intense result, you can also apply the drops directly to your skin before continuing with the rest of your skincare routine.
