Swelling and Rash
I tested the product on my hand first and had no reactions. The hand became super soft and shiny. I carefully checked what not to use with the cream so I wouldn't have any chemical reactions, I do this every time I test new products. I applied the cream to my face in the evening and in the morning it looked super good. So I did the same thing last night and today I woke up with severe rashes and swelling under my eyes. It burns, stings, itches, and hurts a lot. I eventually had to leave work because I couldn't focus due to the discomfort and pain in my face. It seems that most people get good results and like the product, so don't be scared to try it, but a warning for those with sensitive skin to be careful. Also, those who are prone to eczema, dermatitis, and rosacea should be extra cautious. I think it might be due to the niacinamide that I reacted to like this. I have really fallen for the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream! The first thing I like is the texture – it’s rich and creamy, but when I massage it in, I still feel like it melts nicely into the skin. It really feels like a cream that gives the skin a little extra love. 🥹 I usually use it after serum, especially when I want to finish my skincare routine with something a bit more moisturizing. I think the skin feels soft, supple, and properly hydrated afterwards, without needing to use a lot of product. Not the feeling that the skin is just shiny from the cream, but more like it looks hydrated and well cared for. I also think it works very well as the last step in the evening. I think a thin layer is more than enough. If I use too much, it gets a bit too rich for my taste, but with the right amount, the result is just perfect. I've really grown fond of this cream! I have combination skin and can quickly get breakouts from some creams, but I haven't experienced that with this one.
