Lovely serum!
As one of Lyko's Influtesters, I got to try this product and my opinion about it is 100% my own. ✨ My age and skin type: 36 years old. I have combination skin but sometimes get dry patches on my face. My skin sometimes feels dehydrated and tight despite an oily T-zone. Prone to small pimples on the face, possibly hormonal. Relatively large pores. Slight redness on the cheeks. ✨ Packaging: Nice glass bottle, feels a bit luxurious. I don’t love serum bottles with pumps because 50% of the time the product splatters. I prefer a dropper where I can better control how much serum I want. ✨ The product and results: The results are really good. I feel that the pores around my nose have become significantly smaller after using it morning and night. The skin texture also feels smoother. Plus fewer breakouts of small pimples. A product I will continue to use. Very gentle product that can be used every day. ✨ Price: Currently a good price due to discount, otherwise it costs 215 SEK which is an okay price. I got to try serum, day cream, and night cream 💫 The serum is very liquid and light in texture. The packaging is really nice, the glass bottle and pump scream luxury to me. However, the glass bottle feels a bit risky in the bathroom if you have wet or sticky hands, so you have to be a bit careful there. 😅 Unfortunately, I also got a skin reaction from the serum. I therefore tested all the products separately to try to figure out which one I reacted to, but I get a reaction from all of them. This has never happened to me before with other skincare products in my 30 years, so it simply seems to be something in this series that my skin doesn't agree with. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try the #ACO Purifying series. Day Cream, Booster Serum (BHA), and Night Balm. I have combination skin and use skincare daily. The packaging is nice, and I like the small pump bottle. It feels both cute and easy to use. The serum has a very light and thin, liquid consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin. The serum is supposed to help reduce the visibility of pores and dark pigmentation. Honestly, I haven't noticed any major difference so far. Nice and lightweight serum
As a Lyko Influtester, I had the opportunity to try the Face Purifying Booster Serum from ACO. Serum is rarely a daily part of my skincare routine but a nice companion to both day and night creams. I have some oilier areas on my face and a few drier spots. The consistency of the serum is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin after application. It comes in a nice packaging, but the application can be a bit tricky as I feel the nozzle didn’t quite work well with the loose consistency. It has no distinct scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. Since it absorbs quickly into the skin, it works well under creams. I combined it with ACO’s Purifying Night Balm, which has made my skin look more refreshed in the morning and also reduced the visibility of pores. As a Lyko influencer, I got to test this serum, here is my opinion I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, dry cheeks, and it is also somewhat sensitive. Therefore, I hoped this serum would be a good addition to my skincare routine. There is really a lot that makes this product incredibly pleasant to use. First of all, I really like the bottle – it’s super nice, feels handy, and looks great in the bathroom cabinet. The texture itself is also amazing, and the product absorbs into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. Unfortunately, I still have to give a rather lukewarm rating in the end. Despite regular use, I unfortunately haven’t noticed any difference in my skin. Pretty standard
As a #influtester, I got to test the purifying series from #aco. I used the combination of booster serum, day and night cream over a period. I have combination skin with both dry and oily areas and often get pimples even though I am 36 years old, but I choose to think of them as teenage pimples 😉 I don’t have sensitive skin by definition, but I am under investigation for MCAS as my skin can flare up unprovoked. This tends to happen when I change my skincare routine, but to my great joy, I didn’t react at all when testing this series! 🎉 First impression is that it was a very sleek series with good packaging. That it is fragrance-free is a plus since it also suits sensitive noses, so to speak. The serum itself gets a slightly higher score because it has a handy pump bottle and I find it very nice not having to screw caps on and off. It also dispenses a good amount when you pump out the serum. A little goes a long way and that applies to the whole series; it doesn’t take much product to work it over the entire face. The serum is absorbed smoothly by the skin and doesn’t leave any strange residue or anything like that. It’s hard to separate the reviews when it comes to results since I used the series in combination. But what I noticed was that I first got worse with more pimples, which I think is a completely normal reaction from the skin regardless of when you change your skincare routine. But it settled down after a while and went back to normal. Unfortunately, it’s normal for me to have some pimples, so it didn’t get better or worse compared to before. Price-wise, I would say it’s a very good price for the amount you get. Will I switch to this routine? Doubtful, since I didn’t get better results than my usual routine gives me, but I will use up all the products. For those looking for a new routine, I definitely think it’s worth trying and would recommend it. The double picture is before changing the skincare routine and a few days in. Affordable serum✨
As a #lykoinflutester, I have received products from the purifying series from #aco ✨ I have used the products daily for about a month, so here is my review of the serum: My skin type is combination, oily in the T-zone with a tendency to dry patches. I also tend to get acne and clogged pores easily. Over the years, I have tested several serums with similar ingredients. This one is definitely one of the better ones. Partly because of the price and what it does. I will definitely order a new one when this one runs out. The serum has a very light and runny consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin, just how I like my serum 🤩 It keeps impurities away and can be used morning and evening even if you have sensitive skin. (Just don’t forget SPF during the day) The best effect is achieved together with the other products in the series (day cream and night cream). lyko as a #lykoinflutester assignment to test and review. Their Purifying series, which is supposed to prevent impurities, reduce redness, strengthen the skin barrier, exfoliate, and moisturize. I have sensitive combination skin and have used these every other day combined with different products in the other steps of both my morning and evening routines. I think the packaging is nice and it’s fun to try products from Aco. The booster is a watery serum that absorbs quickly and leaves the skin soft. No scent, and this one is exfoliating, and I, who am sensitive to that, have been able to use it every other morning without irritation or redness. Had pretty good skin during the test period and in the end a few pimples, but my skin is like that. Sometimes none and sometimes they come. Face Purifying Booster Serum (BHA) – an active step in the skincare routine
This was the product in the series I was most curious about. Face Purifying Booster Serum contains BHA, which makes it a more active step compared to a classic moisturizing product 💦 I like that the serum feels like a product with a clear purpose – to complement skincare when you want to focus a bit extra on a cleaner and more balanced skin. It is also one of those products where I appreciate the simplicity: a few drops 💧 and the routine immediately feels more thoughtful. One thing I think is important to mention is that BHA is an active ingredient, so this is not necessarily the product I would recommend overusing, especially if you have sensitive or unaccustomed skin. Over the past month, I’ve had the opportunity as #lykoinflutester to try ACO’s purifying series in the form of their booster serum, day cream, and night cream. My skin is very oily and sensitive at times. I’ve always had problems with acne, but not excessively much recently. That is, until just over a month ago, when my skin totally freaked out and I had lots of pimples, both superficial and deep. So I was happy when I found out I would be testing these products and felt like I’d be a perfect test person ✌️😊 This product is called a booster, but it’s basically just a serum, so nothing unusual. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump that can be locked by twisting the nozzle. I use three pumps of product on my face and have done so both morning and evening over the past month. In the morning, I’ve replaced the serum I usually use with this one, and in the evening, I’ve added it to my routine (I’m also currently using a retinol serum from CeraVe). I apply it after toner and before cream. The serum has a watery consistency and absorbs easily into the skin. It contains no perfume and doesn’t smell like anything special. I don’t think it leaves any kind of film behind. It feels lightly moisturizing and doesn’t sting. It contains ingredients proven to work against acne, so I had fairly high expectations. I definitely don’t think it’s bad, but I also don’t feel like it has directly improved the condition my skin is in. On the other hand, I’m pretty convinced that my pimples come from causes that skincare can’t directly affect, namely hormonal. So in my case, I think I just have to wait it out until it calms down. That said, over the years I’ve tested A LOT of skincare for oily skin and acne, so I think I can still judge what’s good and what’s less good. I would place this product in the upper part of the scale. I think it’s worth trying, even if it didn’t do much for me. I got to try the ACO Face Purifying Booster Serum from the Purifying series ✨ The packaging is one of the things I like! The pump bottle feels simple and convenient to use, but at the same time has a more luxurious feel even though the product has a very good price. The serum contains salicylic acid, or BHA, which is an ingredient I’ve unfortunately realized my skin doesn’t really like. I find it too drying for me and it’s a bit too much for my skin barrier. So it’s really not so much about the product itself, but more that BHA doesn’t seem to be the right type of exfoliation for my skin 🩵 So unfortunately, it’s not a full score from me either. A really good serum.
As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the opportunity to try some products from ACO, and it has been fun to test more products from them. Here is my review of the ACO Purifying Booster Serum – this is a non-comedogenic serum that gently exfoliates with salicylic acid (BHA). The serum does not clog your pores and strengthens the skin barrier, etc. I like this serum and use it in my evening routine. My skin looks fresher in the morning and I don’t get as many pimples, which I really like. I can definitely recommend this product to you with acne-prone skin.
