COOL BLONDE
Let's welcome (one of two) newcomers - Cool Blonde! This series completes our portfolio for blonde, gray and bleached hair with its violet pigment and ability to neutralize unwanted yellow and brassy tones. Here we go through everything you need to know about our new beloved baby! The series contains three key ingredients that are inspired from skin care, including Repairing Ceramides that strengthen damaged and split hair that often bleached hair can become. In addition, the products contain moisturizing natural oat lipids that soften and give shine to the hair. Last but not least, we have strengthening amino acids that repair, moisturize and counteract damaged Hair. In addition, the series contains the magical violet pigment that is clinically proven through clinical tests to remove yellow and brassy tones. This gives you a cooler tone with extra shine! In other words, everything you need to take care of your gray, blonde or bleached hair! Of course, we have done tests for the series and its results are outstanding. In a consumer test conducted on 100 participants after 28 days of use, 7 out of 10 felt that unwanted yellow and brassy tones were neutralized after using the entire range. In addition, 7 out of 10 experienced that the hair is moisturized after using the entire routine, and that the hair became shinier after all the Cool Blonde products. 8 out of 10 would also recommend these three products to a friend! The silver shampoo contains the violet pigments that give shine and neutralize yellow and brassy tones without turning matte. Hot tip is to let the shampoo sit for a couple of minutes for maximum effect as it is rich in pigment! The nutritious conditioner also contains violet pigments, but in a milder dose. It is glossy, untangling and perfect for those who want to maintain the shade of their hair without the shade becoming too cold. The intensively nutritious hair mask obviously also contains the violet pigment. In addition, it contains UV protection that protects the hair and contributes to shine! Apply to towel-dried hair and leave on for at least 3 minutes. If you want a stronger effect, we recommend that you let it sit for 10 minutes, but start with less time and then test yourself until you are satisfied. The result is smooth hair without being too heavy, and you don't need conditioner afterwards. If you use the entire routine, you can start by dividing the 10-minute working time between all three products to see how your hair takes up the products. STRAIGHTENER BLOWOUT
There are many ways to create a blowout, partly the traditional way of blow-drying the hair and now more recently we can use heat brushes, curling irons and even flat irons. We will go through the latter today and complete our LYKO Social with videos on how you can style your hair as you wish. Here we recommend that you use hair curlers after each loop to create a more durable volume, but of course it works well without curlers as well. Start with the hair farthest from the face and then work your way forward. Heat each strand in the straightener and bend the last piece so that the strand has a round top so you can easily spin around the hair curler. Continue like this through the entire hair and then spray with hairspray. Here we recommend a softer hairspray that gives natural hold and contributes a little extra shine, for example our Fixing Hairspray. If you use a hairspray that is too strong, it will be more difficult and tangled to pull out the curls afterwards. Let the hair curlers sit in the hair for at least 5-10 minutes, but preferably longer if you have time. There is really no maximum time for how long the curlers can stay in, so a hot tip is to do this before, for example, putting on make-up, so you can save some time. To get the curls out without pulling out the curls, spin the roller out in the opposite direction you rolled up the hair. Then give your hair a quick fix and - voilá! This has been with us for many years and came last year in new packaging and a new scent but the same formula. CURLING IRON BLOWOUT
A stylish blowout always goes home - but as with many things, there are always different ways to go for the same result and they also apply to this styling. A classic blowout is to wash and then blow-dry your hair, but it's not the most time-efficient, and it can also feel unnecessary if you've recently washed your hair. Then we have the solution for you - blowout using a curling iron! Don't forget to boost your hair with heat protection before using any kind of heat tool, for example our Heat Styling Protection. We usually recommend applying it 10-15 minutes before you plan to style your hair so it really has time to sink in and protect to its maximum capacity. Divide your hair into sections and curl as usual. In the video, our Touch Curler is used and the size of the tong itself does not matter much because you will then brush out the curls. Here you don't have to waste time and energy on attracting the entire loop as a traditional blowout is more waves at the bottom. The more curls the better - or what do we say? Below we show you how you can use our Ultimate Experience Curler in two different ways to get two different curls - ENJOY! How convenient that just by changing the angle of this curling iron, you get a completely different texture on your styling? Our Ultimate Experience Curler is ergonomically L-shaped to make it easy for you to curl your own hair in front of your bathroom mirror. As you can see on the right side, the curling iron is angled horizontally and in this way the curls become more bouncy and voluminous. If you want your curls to become even more bouncy and also last longer, we recommend that you let the hair loop cool in your hand before letting it out and moving on to the next one. On the left side, the hair is spun around the curling iron when it is held vertically down, giving a more wavy texture to the curls.
