Smooth, Soothing Eye Cream!
I have as #influtester used these 3 products for about 3 weeks. So far, I am really satisfied! I have seen a lot of positive things about this brand. Feels extra fun to get to try this trio. Fantastic & effective products. Fit perfectly together 😍 My skin type: I have combination skin. Oily T-zones. Acne-prone & dry skin. Smooth, nice & light packaging. Love the pump. Good size. Perfect for sensitive skin. My skin has already improved from this trio. Not as dry. Redness has been reduced. Contains organic ingredients. Swedish produced. Unfortunately not for me
I have to start by admitting that I don't have a fixed skincare routine but take care of my skin a bit more sporadically, depending on time, energy, and needs. My skin is normal to oily but sometimes has dry patches. I appreciate products that are easy to use, feel nice on the skin, and preferably provide a noticeable effect without too much hassle. Recently, I have been testing this eye cream from #LykoInflutester as #EstelleThild. This eye cream has a creamy, somewhat oily consistency that initially lays on the skin like a film and requires you to massage it in for it to be absorbed. By the third use, I became red on my cheekbones and experienced a slight burning sensation. I haven't experienced the redness again after that, but the burning/tightening sensation has returned a few times. It seems to make no difference whether I use the eye cream together with day or night cream from the same line, with products I already have at home, or completely on its own. Sometimes my skin reacts and sometimes it doesn't; I can't find any pattern. Missing something
I had high hopes for this eye cream and was looking forward to an eye cream that would give me lots of moisture and help with dryness lines. And especially since it is described as both mild, active, and moisturizing, which I appreciate with sensitive skin. It has a light consistency and contains nice ingredients like oat extract and elderflower, which are supposed to be soothing and reduce swelling. And since I work in front of a computer all day, I need a boost in the eye cream. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that it provided enough moisture to the area around my eyes. My skin still felt a bit dry, especially throughout the day. I also didn’t notice any significant firming effect, even after consistent use over time 😔 Fortunately, it didn’t irritate my skin, so it’s probably a safe choice for you with sensitive skin and not many lines, but for me, it didn’t quite deliver what I needed. Light Eye Cream
Light, yet nourishing eye cream that provides good moisture to the sensitive area around the eyes. Absorbs faster than day and night cream, and I haven't experienced any irritation. A safe choice for those with sensitive skin, regardless of the season. Pros: • Light, yet provides good moisture • Absorbs quickly • Gentle on sensitive skin Cons: • Only light care, not for very dry areas This one has been more to my liking. Little/No Visible Effect
I had hoped this would be to my liking, especially since it is organic certified, cruelty-free, and marketed as soothing for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I did not experience the effect that was promised. The consistency is light, but it lays on the skin like a matte layer and doesn't feel very hydrating. As for the effect, I noticed none?😅My skin actually felt a bit dry again after a while, despite containing ingredients like apricot kernel oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil. It provided no noticeable improvement for me, even after several weeks of use morning and night. I appreciate that 99.7% of the ingredients are of natural origin. But in practice, it feels more like a superficial barrier than a deeply penetrating eye cream. I had hoped for a more noticeable and long-lasting effect, especially since it is targeted towards sensitive skin. No match for me...
I have tested the Estelle & Thild Soothing Eye Balm for a few weeks, along with the day and night cream from the same series, but unfortunately, the product has not worked optimally for me. After a short time, I started to get small sebaceous lumps around my eyes, something I have previously experienced when using greasy creams in this area. I therefore tried to switch to using the cream only a few days a week, which helped significantly with the sebaceous lumps. The cream sits like a layer on top of the skin and gives a feeling of heaviness – something that can be uncomfortable, especially in warm and humid environments. On the hottest nights, I have noticed that it gets clammy around the eyes and the cream "melts". That said, I believe this cream could be a good choice for those struggling with very dry areas around the eyes. It provides a lot of moisture and has a mild formulation without a strong scent, which can be a plus for sensitive skin. Nutrient-Rich
But not quite perfect for me! First of all, a thousand thanks to LYKO and estelle & thild for this fantastic opportunity to try out this eye balm. It’s probably more suitable for those of you who want an eye balm like: BioCalm Soothing Eye Balm is a light, gentle eye balm that provides optimal comfort and protects sensitive skin. The moisturizing formula with black elderberry and oat extract has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. The balm helps to revitalize tired skin. Suitable for dry & sensitive skin, my skin is sensitive but my problem is dark circles due to blood-thinning medications I take after heart failure & stroke. A balm unfortunately doesn’t provide as much nourishment as a cream in this case, so after application, I felt that the skin around my eyes became dry and needed more moisture than this gives me. Mild & Light Eye Cream 🤍
I have been so lucky to test products from Estelle & Thild, which is a Swedish brand that makes organic skincare 🌱 So fun that the brand is named after the creator's daughters and that it was created precisely because of them! Previously, I hadn't tried products from the brand, but I had heard about it. Therefore, it was incredibly exciting to receive this trio to test for a few weeks 🫶🏼 First about my skin: combination, young skin, a bit drier in the fall/winter and redness. Dark circles under the eyes 👀 The packaging and bottle are timeless and pretty. Practical size to pack for travel as well 👏🏼 The product has a functional pump that dispenses a suitable amount as for me, one pump was enough. It is therefore economical in use 🤍 The consistency is soft and light, and the product is fragrance-free! It is allergy-tested and suitable for sensitive skin. Upon application, the formula feels light and pleasant on the skin 🤍 It has a soothing, protective, firming effect and reduces signs of fatigue and irritation. Soothing Eye Balm 👁️💧
A mild and fragrance-free eye balm that is developed to provide gentle care for the sensitive area around the eyes. I like that it is perfume-free and feels safe to use. And especially for those with sensitive skin. The consistency is rich and creamy, maybe a bit too much for my skin type. Unfortunately, it didn't absorb properly for me and sat more on the surface of the skin than I prefer. For me, who needs something lighter and more absorbent, this just wasn't quite right. Pretty okay eye cream
I’ve had the chance to test this product as #lykoinflutester for a few weeks, and I think this eye cream is pretty okay. It does its job of moisturizing, but I, who am 30+ and never dry or sensitive, don’t need a moisturizing eye cream, rather some kind of anti-aging product. Therefore, this product won’t be part of my routine in the future, but it’s surely perfect for dry and sensitive skin since it hasn’t reacted badly on my skin at least. I got to test this product from #estellethild in the capacity of #lykoinflutester I would classify my skin as combination/oily, and especially oily now during the summer. I have quite sensitive skin that easily gets red or develops small bumps and pimples from the wrong products. The skin around my eyes is very thin and quite sensitive. I have been testing this product for a few weeks now, and here are my thoughts! Positive: ❤️ The eye cream is very mild, gentle, and soothing, and would probably be very nice for those with dry and irritated skin around the eyes. ❤️ The packaging is very nice, and has a convenient and hygienic pump. ❤️ Vegan. ❤️ Very moisturizing, works better at night for me. ❤️ Has a very nice feel on the skin. Soft and a bit silky. Negative: 💔 Unfortunately, it doesn't absorb into the skin very well, but sits on top. 💔 It didn't work for me under makeup.
