A new favorite!
A bronzer that has become a new favorite! This powder is incredibly pigmented, so only a little product is needed to create a nice sun-kissed look. At first, way too much product was used, but after a few uses, you get the hang of how much product is needed. I previously experienced that bronzers couldn't last a whole day without getting patchy and looking bad. This really holds up all day! Nice from morning to evening. + smells incredibly good, a bit coconut/tropical + good price + lots of pigment + pretty packaging. + lasts all day. I think this one is way too pigmented, even if you gently dab once with a fluffy brush, it easily gets patchy when you apply the brush to the skin, so most of the bronzer comes off right there, which can make it a bit uneven. 🤎 A bronzer I’ve really fallen for!
Okay, I really get the hype around the NYX Buttermelt Bronzer now! 😍 I think 02.5 Butta Ballin gives exactly that warm, sun-kissed feeling I want without my face suddenly looking orange. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly pigmented it is. I really had to learn to take a little product at a time because this goes a long way. 😂 Once you get the technique down, though, I find it super easy to work with and blend out. What I like the most is the finish itself. It feels almost soft and creamy even though it’s a powder, and I think it melts really nicely into the rest of my makeup. The skin gets a warm and slightly glowy feeling without me feeling like the bronzer is sitting on top of my skin. I also think shade 02.5 is very nice if you want warmth in your face but don’t want to go towards that very orange tone. For me, it looks more sun-kissed and natural. ✨ And I actually have to mention the scent! 😭🤎 It has such a lovely tropical vibe that makes the whole application a bit more fun. It’s such a small detail that I really appreciate. I also like how long-lasting it feels. Considering the pigmentation, you really don’t need much product each time, so I think this will last a long time. This is definitely a bronzer I like to bring out when I want a bit more warmth and life in my face. WOW, I just have to say, what an incredibly good bronzer!! 🤩 I ordered 03.5 Butta D Down & it sits perfectly on the skin and you get a fantastic “glow bronze” effect, it’s very pigmented so you only need a very small amount of product as well. Very satisfied with this one! It’s like powder but melts really nicely into the skin when applied. At first, I thought it was a bit orange (I’m very fair), but now that I’ve learned to work with it, I see it was probably just untrained eyes! Anyway, it’s fantastic! #lykomission I’ve also tried 03 since it’s supposed to be neutral and least orange, but it didn’t work well at all for me.
