A total dream! ✨
As #lykinflutester, I got to test three products from #nars, including this concealer! I didn't think this would suit me at all, as I usually use thin concealers that give glow. This one is completely full coverage and gives a matte finish. I have fine lines around my eyes and am generally dry in my skin, so at first glance, I was hesitant. 👀 But the concealer really performs beyond expectations! It gives medium coverage if you take a liiiittle product, and it builds up beautifully ✨ I think it feels light on the skin and blends in nicely despite the full coverage formula. It also contains great ingredients like peptides, vitamins A, E, and C, and I really love makeup that is caring for the skin 🫶🏼 since I'm used to lighter formulas, it took me a while to learn how little product is actually needed from this to achieve a perfected result, this gem will last me a long time. For me, it works best to pick up a little product and apply it to the back of my hand first, then I go in with it on my face where I want to cover redness, etc. It warms up a bit on the hand, and then I can more easily control the amount I want on my face 👏🏼 the concealer works well with both brush or sponge. I prefer to apply with my fingers first and then go in with a sponge for the best result ✨✨ It covers fantastically well, so if you're looking for a buildable concealer that covers seven tough years, this one is for you 😅 I still think it eventually settles into fine lines, so I can't give it a perfect score. On my skin, it's completely understandable since I'm dry and get dry throughout the day. Not for me
I have been able to test this concealer from Nars for a few weeks now… and unfortunately, this is not for me. I would say my skin is quite normal and I very rarely have issues with products not working for me. To start with, I prefer concealers that come in a "tube" with an applicator, I find it easier to use than when it comes like this in a jar. When it comes to the product itself, it is thick in consistency, which means it covers well and can give a nice highlighter effect under the eyes. BUT I can't get it to work under my eyes, it settles directly into the fine lines (which they also claim shouldn't happen) and I look super dry and cakey. However, I think it works well on other areas. Like on the forehead, for example. I have tested applying it both with a brush, sponge, and my fingers. The absolute best result is with my fingers, but I don't like applying product with my fingers and getting sticky, so I gladly let that be 😅 Showing results with a close-up of how it looks under my eyes after application. So to summarize: not for my skin. It gets dry and cakey under the eyes but works well on other areas! It gives a nice coverage when it works well. Nars pot concealer
I have normal skin, but it can get a bit dry, especially in winter. This product provides very good coverage, which I really appreciate. At the same time, it’s important to be aware that the finish is quite matte, and it can quickly look a bit dry on the skin if you don’t prepare your skin well beforehand. In my experience, the makeup sits much nicer and looks less dry and “patchy” if I take my time with skincare before application. The texture itself is easy to work with and simple to apply evenly. One tip that can help a bit is to properly moisturize beforehand, preferably with a light eye cream that can sink in for a while, and then use a very small amount of concealer. Just under the eyes, it often makes a big difference to take a little at a time instead of too much at once. If you still feel that it’s too matte, it might also be that you would do better with a more moisturizing concealer instead. The best concealer!
I have struggled for a long time with pimples and dark circles under my eyes. At the same time, I have very dry skin. This is the only concealer I have tried that actually covers the pimples without getting cakey or flaking off. I use it alone without any other makeup and I am completely in love with this product! Wonderful creamy but not for me!
I have tested this concealer from NARS for a few weeks and no matter how much I want to like it, it really doesn't suit me. I am 33 years old with some signs of aging that are creeping in all the time. It’s the ultimate test to also try a concealer when you are most stressed in December and sleeping the least, bags under the eyes are there to say! I am currently normal to oily in skin, not at all dry (which I think it suits better for). This concealer is heeelt wonderfully creamy in its consistency and I can really imagine that for some it is 5/5, it really melts into the skin. For me, however, it’s completely wrong, it’s TOO creamy which makes it not really adhere. I have tried applying both with a brush, sponge, and finger and for me, it’s only the finger that works. This creases very easily on me in the lines, I have to set it with very little powder otherwise it gets cakey. It really requires precision to get it to sit nicely. I also can’t build up more coverage without it creasing! I also think it has zero coverage and since I can’t build layers without it getting cakey, it doesn’t do much for me, as I like full cover makeup. However, in the summer, I might have liked it more when I want a bit lighter makeup.
