  Waterproof, midnight blue mascara!

  As someone very fair with a cool undertone, I love cool dark blue mascara = flattering for skin and eye color👍☺ and it is now HARD to find😒 Here we have one! This is a really nice, waterproof mascara that lengthens the lashes a bit (they will probably get longer if you have short lashes) and gives them a beautiful dark, cool blue tone! They also become soft and flexible due to silk protein - no stiff spider legs here👏🏻 I have had even darker and thus prettier midnight blue mascara from various brands, including Jane Iredale, which unfortunately has been discontinued, but this one is so good that I can easily imagine buying it again☺ Mine was opened in January and still works just as well👍 (No, I really don’t change mascara every three months - that’s not necessary if you are hygienic). Unfragranced, does not irritate. Does not smudge and holds well. Works even on the lower lashes without clumping. Works well if you, like me, want a fairly natural result since it does not provide volume. I always use a special eye makeup remover for waterproof makeup, and it easily removed this. Micellar water does not work since it is, as mentioned, waterproof! I have long, but straight lashes. I curl them with an eyelash curler before mascara, but due to age, I have developed droopy eyelids on my deep-set eyes, causing the lashes to be pressed down from above where they hit, which now removes the curl after a few hours. This applies to all mascaras, so also this one, so it’s not something I judge anymore! Made in Switzerland.   My lashes need to be curled and use waterproof mascara to stay up. I put on a good layer of mascara, an hour after application the lashes are still sticky, and when I blink, the lashes get a little "stuck". After a short ten-minute run, I see that the mascara has smudged a bit underneath (the picture was taken after I wiped my finger under my eye to get rid of the darkest spot). Super annoying since I struggle to find a good and BROWN waterproof mascara😩

    Hey Anine 💌 Thanks for sharing your experience with us – it’s really disappointing to hear that the mascara hasn’t held up the way you want! 😔 The lashes can be a bit challenging to get to sit perfectly, especially if they need extra curling and waterproof mascara. I’d like to recommend the Essence Lash Without Limits Extreme Lengthening & Volume Mascara in brown (02 Brown). Even though this one isn’t waterproof, it provides incredible length and volume, and can be a good alternative for you if you want a brown mascara with a light texture. Hope you find a mascara that fits you perfectly and that you have a lovely day ahead🌞

  Pretty okay

  I have curly and straight lashes. Therefore, I need to use waterproof mascara to hold the curl after using the eyelash curler. I can't find any other waterproof brown/blue mascara. Very nice to apply/work with. The downside is that it smudges so easily after you've had it on for a few hours.

  Not waterproof at all!

  This mascara is the exact opposite of what waterproof means. It's an okay mascara; there's nothing special about it other than its strong color (black). I could only use it for a few times because it's not waterproof at all, so the mascara smudges all over your eyes and face once you tear up a little!
