If you often blow-dry, straighten, or curl your hair and notice it getting damaged, then this is the spray you need. I've used this in my routine and it really is an "all-in-one" product that does more than just protect against heat. What I like: Heat protection: It protects up to 230°C, which feels safe when using a flat iron. The hair never feels "burnt" or dry afterwards. Detangles: It works as a fantastic leave-in product. Just a few sprays on damp hair make the brush glide through without resistance – perfect if you have hair that tangles easily. Anti-frizz: It keeps flyaways in place all day, even when it's humid outside. The hair becomes incredibly soft and gains a natural shine. The scent: The Genesis scent is addictive! It smells luxurious and fresh without being overpowering. What’s less good: The spray bottle: It's good, but you have to be careful not to spray too much in one spot. A light mist over the whole hair is enough. The price: It's a more expensive heat protectant, but the 150 ml bottle is concentrated and lasts for several months even if you style your hair often. Conclusion: A lifesaver for anyone who wants to keep their lengths healthy despite frequent styling. It provides protection, moisture, and shine all in one. ✨ My favorite step before blow-drying!
I’ve really gotten hooked on this one from Kérastase! It’s especially the feeling in the hair after blow-drying that makes me like it so much. The hair feels softer, smoother, and much more manageable, and I think it gets a really nice shine. I use it on towel-dried hair and mainly distribute it through the lengths and ends before I start blow-drying. I really like that I get both care and heat protection in the same step, so I don’t have to apply several different products to my hair. The texture feels light, and I find it easy to distribute evenly. However, I try to stick to a smaller amount because I think the result looks best that way. The hair still feels airy instead of overloaded. What I appreciate extra is how the hair feels when it’s completely dry. It becomes so soft and smooth that I almost automatically start running my fingers through the lengths. 😂🤍 I also think the hairstyle becomes much more controlled and that the hair looks more well-groomed. And I really have to mention the scent! 😍 It feels very luxurious and typically Kérastase to me. I like when the hair still smells good after styling, and this one really leaves a lovely scent behind. I also like that it works just as well as part of my regular blow-drying routine as when I want to spend a little extra time on my hair. It doesn’t make the routine more complicated, but the result still feels a bit more salon-like. The only downside is the price, since Kérastase is really in the premium class. But since I need quite little product each time, I still think it’s worth it. A really lovely leave-in that has become an obvious step for me before heat styling. Didn’t work for me!

Makes hair greasy
I really believed in this, but it smells like typical old lady scent, so citrus and old lady. If you use it in your hair after the shower, when the hair dries (either with a blow dryer or air drying), the hair will feel greasy and dirty. It gives no results at all. To not waste my money, I used it before the shower to then rinse it out. Smells like men's perfume
Has been sitting in the bathroom cabinet because it smelled like men's perfume. Unpleasant scent
The function of this product is super good, it gets 5 stars. However, the horrible scent brings the rating down to only 2 stars. It’s a sharp, chemical smell that reminds me of something sprayed in a port-a-potty to mask other odors. Yes, you hear that I am disappointed. Kérastase is otherwise one of my favorite brands and I have always found that the other products I have tried smell wonderfully delightful, even addictive. Anti hair-fall fortifying blow-dry fluid for weakened hair, prone to falling due to breakage. This milky formula provides anti-breakage protection and optimal hydration without frizz or weighing down the hair. Enriched with the combination of Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root, Defense Thermique hydrates, reinforces and protects the hair from heat up to 220°C to reduce the risk of hair-fall due to breakage. Hair is shiny and soft with a silky touch.
Use:
ON TOWEL-DRIED HAIR: Use 2 to 4 pumps, depending on the length and thickness of the hair. Comb to evenly distribute the product. Proceed to blow-dry or air dry.
ON DRY HAIR: Apply to dry hair after blowdrying or airdrying as a finishing touch to tame frizz and boost shine. Style as desired.
