Test Pilot
I had the opportunity to be a test pilot for both of these serums for several weeks and I am very satisfied with how they work together. The first thing I noticed was the scent, both products smell fantastic, just like when you come out of the salon. 💈 The scent lingers for a long time and gives a luxurious feeling during use. However, one should be aware that they are quite perfumed, so if you are sensitive to strong scents, these products may not be the best choice. Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant💕 This serum feels very light in the hair and does not weigh down the roots, which is something I am particularly sensitive to since I easily get oily hair quickly. After several weeks of use, I find that my hair stays fresh for a long time and that the serum does not make my scalp oilier. It absorbs quickly and gives a fresh, light feeling without leaving any residue. I have also noticed that my baby hairs have become longer and denser. Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum💗 The night serum is also very light in consistency. It moisturizes the hair overnight without making it heavy or greasy. I find that my hair feels softer, more manageable, and easier to brush out. Again, the scent is a big plus, it feels warm, luxurious, and very salon-like. The price of these 2 products is undoubtedly quite high and it is not a spontaneous purchase. But after using them for several weeks, I feel that they are actually worth the money. The scent, the feeling in the hair, and the fact that they do not make the hair greasy despite being nourishing make me truly experience them as quality products. It feels like a salon experience at home, which justifies the price. A little summary of my review: Scent: Wonderful salon scent, but quite perfume-heavy. Feeling in the hair: Both products are light and do not make the hair greasy, which is perfect for those of us who quickly get oily at the scalp. Effect: The hair feels softer, lighter, and healthier without being weighed down. Also more hair growth. Best suited for: You who want light products that do not make the hair greasy and who love scent! But not for those who are sensitive to perfume. Money right out the window
Tried a bit of everything yesterday and fy f... what a perfume smell. Anti hair loss serum is very runny and I'm not convinced they didn't make perfume and just poured it in the bottle because it smells and feels like that when you put it on, with how watery it is, and you can smell the alcohol in the perfume scent so strongly. I have no faith that it's positive to apply to the scalp. The night serum also smells very strong and because it's closer to the face, it smells ALL the time for every breath you take for the next 12 hours and more. I sat last night and lay down last night and had a constant strong perfume smell in my nose, which has been exhausting and irritating.. it's so strong that you can taste the smell. I also have no faith that such strongly perfumed products will do anything other than give drier hair and scalp with maybe dandruff and irritation. For the price, I'm very disappointed and feel like I'm sitting with my beard in the mailbox because I've been fooled by those who praise this product, they must all be bought and paid to promote. Money right out the window. About the talked-about products!
For five weeks, I have been able to test these talked-about products! Hyped on both TikTok and Instagram, but unfortunately, I can't really agree with this hype. Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant: if you read the packaging, you should distribute 4 doses in the hair. I found it difficult to get the right amount in the pipette as it was marked how much 1 dose is. Unfortunately, I experienced that my hair became greasy quickly when I applied 4 doses every day, I tried applying either in the morning or evening to see if it made any difference. That the product smells good, I can't agree with, I mostly thought it smelled incredibly strong and chemical. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any results from this serum after using it for about 5 weeks. Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum: this serum will definitely be a repurchase! It melted into the hair and made it soft, shiny, and not so frizzy. The best is to apply it to damp hair as it gets the chance to soak into the hair while the strands are a bit open, this way I got the best results. In summary, I am 50/50 satisfied, the price is within a reasonable amount if you are going to buy it as a kit. After using these products for five weeks, I have noticed a huge difference in my hair quality! My hair feels stronger and I have never had such shine before! Many people have asked what perfume I use since I started using these products, they smell absolutely incredible and it becomes a daily luxury in itself! The glass bottles and the pipette are also 🫦 NOTE! If you are sensitive to strong scents, Genesis Serum Anti-chute Fortifiant is not for you. I usually tolerate a lot of fragrance but found this one to be a bit too much. Hence my rating of 4/5. Other than that, this is a fantastic product. I have huge problems with oily hair so I was skeptical about how it would feel with product on my scalp, but it is so light in consistency and doesn't show at all after it dries. I have actually forced my fiancé to try this during these weeks as he is in a phase where his hair is starting to fall out, we both think it has helped!? So he wished this came fragrance-free or in “man scent” 😂 All I need to say about Nutritive 8h Magic Night serum is BUY. It is so worth the money, I have never tried a better hair product. Luxurious serums that don't weigh down or make the hair oily! For the past few years, I've had issues with hair loss and thin hair, especially at the forehead and temples. That's why it has felt extra exciting to have the opportunity to test Kérastase serum to see if there's anything that can be done about it. My hair gets oily easily, and I usually need to wash my hair every day to feel fresh. But now since I've started using "Kérastase Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant", I feel like I don't need to wash my hair as often at all. It acts like a refreshment for the scalp after it's applied and absorbed, and I can then wait a day before I need to wash my hair! However, this serum has a slightly too strong fragrance of perfume for my taste. "Kérastase Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum" is easy to apply and absorbs super quickly. It makes the hair feel smooth to handle, easy to brush, and it lays nicely, so I can avoid flyaway hairs that live their own lives! This serum has a calm and fresh scent that I like. I've been testing the serums for about 5 weeks, but it still feels a bit early to say whether it has had results regarding hair growth. I got to be a test pilot for these luxurious products from Kerastase ⭐️ Genesis serum: Gives a light feel in the hair and doesn't weigh it down. I find that my scalp feels much fresher when I use this serum, and I can go longer between washes. However, you have to be careful not to apply too thick a layer, as it can then form a film that "flakes". I have a lot more baby hair that is especially visible at the forehead by the hairline. Unfortunately, this is very strongly scented, which caused some itching for my sensitive scalp. I wish for the same product with milder/without fragrance as it otherwise gave a nice result. Night serum: WOW! The serum smells luxuriously like a salon visit and really does what it’s supposed to. I finally wake up with hair free of tangles and lots of shine! I also find that it helps styling hold better overnight. The product penetrates the hair well, and it’s easy to style in the morning afterward. Exactly what I’ve been searching for so long that a regular hair oil doesn’t quite fulfill. Magical! 😍 Both products are quite expensive, but the packaging is large and the products are economical. A little extra luxurious products
I have had the honor of testing these fine products and have been so excited to try them! Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant I think has worked well. During these 5 weeks I have tested it, it has definitely given me stronger hair and a calmer scalp. I like that the hair doesn't feel greasy or heavy when using this, but that it still feels fresh after applying the product. I can't really say anything about whether I've had less hair loss since I usually lose a lot of hair and have continued to lose hair as before. My hair has really liked this product and I partially understand the hype around it, but it does have a pretty hefty price. The only thing I would like to note as a small minus (besides the price) is the scent, as I personally think it smells very strong during the actual use. Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum I really like! It has made my hair much softer, shinier, and less frizzy. I like that the hair doesn't feel greasy when you take it, neither in dry nor damp hair, and the scent is lovely! I really think it has helped me get much less frizz, which is something I have had problems with before. Definitely a product I could see myself spending those extra coins on! In summary, I have been satisfied with both products as I said. They absolutely work and feel good in the hair. Since they feel very luxurious and come at a pretty high price, I don't know if I would continue to buy both together again. What brings the overall rating down from a 5 to a 4 is unfortunately the price. Lovely feeling but high price tag
I have had the honor of testing two products from Kérastase for 5 weeks: Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant and Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum, and my first impression was that both packages feel very luxurious. The products also smell incredibly good and the scent lingers for a long time, which I personally like, but it might be perceived as too much if you are sensitive to strong scents. 💘 I always applied the Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant to my scalp in the evening. I have very fine and thin hair and was initially a bit worried that the serum would make my hair greasy, but it did not at all. In the morning, there were no traces of the product left. I can't really comment on whether it has helped with hair loss, but it feels very soothing and cooling on the scalp and has become a cozy part of my evening routine. However, I find that the product is quite not economical in relation to the price, it runs out quickly. The Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum for the lengths was also very pleasant to use. It smells good, moisturizes the hair nicely, and gives a nice shine. I mostly used it before I braided my hair or did heatless curls overnight, and my hair felt soft and well-cared for in the morning. For my hair, which is quite thick with fine strands, I needed at least 4 pumps every evening, which made this product also not particularly economical (I haven't used it every night). Here too, I think the price is quite high and there are cheaper alternatives that give similar results (amikas), which I might go back to. But I will definitely use up the product. In summary, both products are very luxurious and fragrant, but in my opinion somewhat overhyped considering the price. The first thing I noticed is how luxurious the serums are in the packaging, and the scent is super luxurious. The only negative is that there is a strong scent on both serums, and not everyone wants that, but I think it’s a good scent. Now over the last 5 weeks, I have had the chance to test the Kerastase Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant together with the Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum!😍 I have previously tested several of Kerastase's products and have been very satisfied, which made me look forward to trying these two. I have not had any previous problems with hair loss, however, I have coarser hair strands and slightly textured hair, which means I often need to apply moisturizing products etc. to reduce frizz. I used both serums before I went to bed during this test period. I applied the Anti-cheute to my scalp and rubbed it in with my fingers, using the amount indicated by the marking on the pipette. The consistency is light and does not leave a sticky feeling on the scalp, which I thought it would, big plus! I primarily applied the overnight serum to the lengths. I also found that it was light and did not leave a "greasy" feeling in the hair. My hair is dry, with some texture and coarser hair strands and bleached. I wash my hair about 1-2 times a week, and it rarely gets greasy. My hair care routine consists mostly of moisturizing products etc. because my hair easily tends to get dry. So how did these serums work? I thought they absolutely did!! I have never felt that hair loss has been a bigger problem in my case. But already after just a short time of the test period, I noticed that there was no longer the same clump of hair after the shower, or as much hair to pull off from the hairbrush. I was honestly positively surprised as I didn't really know what this serum would do for my hair, but it was something I clearly noticed. So I was positively surprised by the big difference☺️ However, the 8h Overnight serum was something I had been considering clicking home for a while, as the product is described as perfect for my hair. Already the first morning, I didn't need to use hair oils and leave-ins, which I otherwise need to do as my hair easily gets very dry overnight, which was super fun! Waking up with moisturized lengths was something new for me😅 The scent is also super lovely! The price for these two is higher, but when it comes to hair products, I think it is worth it as money often means quality regarding hair products. I will definitely buy the Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum again as it is a super lovely serum that works well on my hair and makes the morning routine easier!! Since I do not experience a previous "problem" with hair loss (I think I have a natural amount), I may not buy the anti-cheute serum again. This as it went so much in such a short time and it doesn't become so worth it in my case. I give this kit 5⭐️ as I was still left with a positive impression. It has now been 5 weeks since I started using these two products, and here comes my final review: Overall, I am satisfied with the results of both serums, and I notice a big difference in my hair. I love the 8h serum, and I will 100% buy it again. My hair has never been this nice! I like the Genesis serum, but I think I need to evaluate it over a longer period to notice a bigger difference 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I still have some thoughts for each: Nutritive 8h overnight serum ✅ Great serum, will last a long time ✅ Gives incredible shine, and my hair has never been this soft after this ✅ No matter how much I take, my hair does not get greasy ✅ I actually have nothing negative to say about this, I love!!! My tips: - If you sleep with a silk cap/bonnet, it gives the best results - Warm up the serum by rubbing it in your hands first, then it gives better results - Do you sleep with heartless curls? Then this is a must-have serum!! Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant ✅ Hair does not get greasy, something I was afraid it would ✅ Picture 1 is before and picture 2 is after, and I still think I see a stable slow result ❌ Runs out quickly as you need to use a lot ❌ I still shed just as much now as when I started. This makes it a bit difficult to assess this serum, as I believe the serum needs to work for longer than 5 weeks.
