    I had the opportunity to test some products from #Nioxin as a #lykoinflutester. I have thin, fine, typically Scandinavian hair that is dyed at regular intervals and suffers from chronic flyaway hair during the winter months. 🙃😅 I am definitely in need of more density in my hair, so this product was exciting to test! This serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. The recommended dose is 2-4 DROPPERS (not drops as it says in the description here) on the scalp every evening. I have to be honest and admit that I missed a few individual evenings during the testing period 🙈😬😅 This is the product that has the best scent in my opinion, not too much but just right and fresh. I find it a bit difficult to dose with the dropper, and would have preferred a spray nozzle. I press the dropper against the scalp and press gently to distribute a little everywhere. I think a month is too short a time to evaluate any significant difference, but I feel that my hair feels nice and airy right after use. I thought my hair would feel greasy after all these products, but I notice no difference compared to the "dicke-testing period". I will use the product up but will not buy it on my own. Why? Mainly because Nioxin unfortunately (!) is not cruelty-free, but also because the price tag is a bit steep considering how much product is needed and how quickly it runs out. I have about half left after 1 month.

    Smells Strong

    This hair serum is marketed as a solution for hair loss, but the first thing that hits you is the incredibly strong and unpleasant smell. It's so overpowering that it competes with any other perfume and lingers in the hair for a long time. Besides the smell, I haven't seen any positive effects on my hair loss after several weeks of use. My hair feels rather dull and lifeless. Considering the strong smell and lack of results, I really can't recommend this serum. The only positive is that it smells like a hair salon here at home.     Love it BUT smells a little too intense!

    This gets 4.5 out of 5 ⭐ from me I was very positively surprised by this night serum! 🤩 The first impression is how pretty the bottle was and very convenient with the dropper! Easy to use & the scent is fantastic! The only negative about the scent is that it can be quite strong so close to bedtime.. The whole process is however incredibly cozy in the evening and a bit relaxing 💆‍♀️ I have noticed a difference in my hair as it feels healthier and thicker! I can definitely see myself buying this when this runs out 🤩 + Nice and elegant bottle + Convenient design with the dropper + Smells really good! + Hair feels healthier and thicker (Does what it promises) + Long shelf life, so much product for the money. - Not particularly budget-friendly - Strong scent close to bedtime The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot got to try the product for free.

    Don't make the hair greasy!!

    I really like this one because it doesn't make your scalp greasy even when you apply it to dry hair. After a few days, it had cleaned up my scalp as I had small flakes coming off, which was positive as I might have revived clogged hair follicles. Whether it helps with hair loss is too early to say, and I think you need to use the product for a longer time.

    Regular serum

    Now I have tested this serum in collaboration with Smartson for a certain period. Unfortunately, it was too short a time to fairly evaluate the effect. The serum feels good at first impression, and I hoped for good results, but as mentioned, the testing time was too short. The downside for me has been that it has been noticeable that I have serum in my hair. Not just in a positively moisturizing way, but also in a "the hair doesn't look completely clean" way unfortunately. I will continue to use the serum as I would like to know if it has an effect, but I am a bit unsure about how I feel about it. The most important thing for me is still that the hair grows back. As someone wrote below, it’s probably more whole pulpeters you should use and not drops. Test it out! All in all, I am still quite okay satisfied and look forward to continuing to test :)

    I have now been testing Nioxin Night Density Rescue for a few weeks, which is a night treatment that impresses with its simple and smart packaging. The dropper makes it easy to apply the product evenly across the entire scalp without mess. It absorbs quickly, doesn't weigh the hair down, and gives a cool, fresh feeling that makes the scalp feel both clean and stimulated. It's also easy to massage in, which makes it convenient to use daily. I have used this product together with both Nioxin Anti-Hairloss Shampoo and Serum. Together they feel like a strong combo, but it's also hard to determine which effect comes from which product, or if it's the whole that delivers results.     Antioxidants! 2-4 drops and spa feeling

    Full of antioxidants, only 2-4 drops needed on the scalp! No cleansing, but the best with this evening serum, one of the best anyway is that there is no cleansing after X many hours - but those who do it 5 for me, however damaged hair I have always had problems with my scalp can get very oily quickly, this evening serum doesn't even do that!! 🤩 woke up with thicker hair and with every evening my hair wasn't on the whole pillow when I woke up 😅 I am obsessed 😍👩🏼‍🦰 The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.

    Fresh scent

    A serum that smells fresh and salon-clean! I think it works well for the purpose of making the hair feel cleaner and airier. You can therefore go longer between washes, which is always a plus! Easy to apply with the dropper. However, it's a shame that it's a glass bottle that can easily break. As for whether it affects hair loss, I find it hard to answer after a few weeks.     Nioxin Night Density Rescue Serum 70 ml quickly became a favorite in my evening routine. What I appreciate most is how light and non-greasy it feels – something that is crucial for me as I usually avoid products that make my hair oily. The serum is easy to apply directly to the scalp, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky feeling. In the morning, my hair looked just as fresh as before application, which means I don’t have to wash my hair extra often. A big bonus is the wonderful scent – fresh and a bit luxurious, I really loved how it smelled! I used the serum every night and felt that hair loss might have decreased a bit, but since I didn’t get to use the product for a longer time, it’s hard to say for sure.     Something expensive

    A bit awkward application as you drop a few drops into the scalp and try to distribute it. Spray would be much better. It also doesn't feel super economical, and that contributes a bit to it being somewhat expensive for my taste. I have nothing against the smell and think it feels good on the scalp when it’s well placed. As I said, I have only used the product for 4 weeks and find it hard to believe that there is any miracle cure for hair loss that makes the hair magically grow back.
