Awesome detox shampoo
Fantastic product that I have used for many years, it absolutely does its job and both the hair and scalp feel clean afterwards. However, I experienced that you have to be careful not to use it too often as it dries out and you can easily get irritated, but you should use a good shampoo and conditioner with a lot of moisture afterwards. I used Kevin Murphy's moisture line which makes the hair magical. However, I have stopped using detox shampoo and now use hair scrub (Bodyshop's ginger) which is magical!

Hair loss?
It took quite a bit of product to get it through all my hair even though I have short hair. I probably used 4 times as much as my usual shampoo. Waited a minute and then rinsed out. The hair immediately felt like a twig bush, incredibly dry and nasty. When I took out a hair mask, I got a lot of hair on my hands. Collected some of it and set it aside (picture). Then I used absolute repair molecular in a huge amount and let it work in the hair for 1-2 minutes. Today the hair is flat, completely without the volume I'm used to but very thin, fine, and soft. The last qualities probably not because of the shampoo. My scalp looks better, tightens a bit but it seems like the product cleans well. However, I wonder if maybe I don't like rosemary? I tried an oil with it on my scalp and it didn't go well. So keep in mind for my review that the tightness I feel and my hair loss might be because the product contains rosemary or do you have any other good suggestions? You usually know better than me. Please excuse the makeup-free picture but I wanted to show how the hair looks unstyled. I will want to get more volume.

  Heej Filippa! 😊 Yes, it can definitely be worth trying if your hair gets oily easily and has a lot of product residue or buildup 🩷 Since you have thin, curly, and frizzy hair, I would use it more sporadically, not at every wash, so the hair doesn’t feel dry. Massage it mainly into the scalp and finish with conditioner on the lengths. Take care! 💌

I bought Kevin Murphy's detox shampoo to use in conjunction with K18, here is my review... 💗Positive: - Makes the hair very clean. Slightly strong scent
This shampoo cleans deeply, giving the feeling of a completely clean scalp and thoroughly cleaned hair. The scent, however, is a bit of tea tree oil and can be perceived as a bit strong, but something in it makes the product almost cooling on the scalp, which also gives a fresh and clean feeling. The hair, however, requires a good treatment or conditioner or shampooing to close the cuticle on each hair strand. I always recommend washing your hair twice, regards a former hairdresser.

Great product for deep cleansing!
This is a shampoo I use as the first step in double cleansing; first I use this one to remove hair products and dirt – the result is a clean, fresh scalp and clean lengths. Then I use a more moisturizing shampoo for extra cleansing but also hydration. If you use this product that way, the hair becomes really clean, airy, stays fresh for a long time, and feels hydrated and healthy! The shampoo is also very economical, a small amount lasts loooong. Detox boost ✨️
Really good shampoo that does what it promises! I have thin hair that tends to get dry easily. I also have a scalp that often itches. I have used this shampoo about 2-3 times a month. 🫧 The first impression is always the bottle’s appearance and design. Nice and sleek bottle. I like the unique square shape. However, it’s hard to open. I’ve worn my thumb sore a few times, so I have to use my nails instead. Not optimal, I think. ✨️ The scent is absolutely lovely! A mix of lime, grapefruit, eucalyptus, and peppermint. You really feel the fresh sensation from this wonderful combo. 🫧 It’s a bit on the runnier side, so you have to be careful when opening (though a bit tricky considering how hard it is to open). ✨️ Really cleans the hair. Feels like a restoration after shampooing. A detox, simply. 🫧 The hair becomes a bit dry and rough when using it. So moisturizing afterwards is important. I’ve alternated between applying this shampoo twice when washing and applying once then using a moisturizing shampoo the second time. Always finish with a hair mask. ✨️ The product is very gentle on the scalp. No irritation or itching. However, I can’t say if it helps more than other shampoos for scalp problems, considering it’s supposed to be used so rarely. If it weren’t for the cap being so incredibly hard to open, this detox shampoo would get full points. Because it is a good product. #creatorkevinmurphy #lykocreator #lykoreview

One of the better detox shampoos I've used. You get a clean feeling after use without drying out the hair too much. I feel that it has done a good job cleaning after a lot of buildup and similar, which other shampoos haven't been able to achieve in the same way as this detox shampoo. This shampoo is also quite economical, so you don't need to use much for it to feel clean and be clean.

Ingredients

A detox shampoo that contains AHA acids that break down fat for a clean, clear scalp. The balancing essential oils penetrate the scalp to refresh the hair, cleanse and cleanse an oily (oily) or flaky (dry) scalp.
