Very nice!
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this highlighter stick in the shade Pearl from DAAR. I really like this! Easy to work with Easy to blend on the face You can build it up if you want more, and it gives a really nice result. It looks very natural on the face, but if you want more of a party look, you can apply more 🥳 This one is not glittery, but it gives more of a glow on the face😍 I will definitely continue to use it!❤️ Thanks to #lyko & #daar #lykoinflutesterTranslated from swedish

Nice product with poor packaging
I love the highlighter itself – it has an incredibly beautiful glittery finish that captures the light perfectly without feeling too glittery or chunky. It blends nicely into the skin and lasts all day, which is really impressive. Perfect for both everyday and party! ✨🥂 The downside is that the packaging doesn't meet the standards. It's plastic and cheap, I've had trouble twisting up more product - which also applies to their blush. It's disappointing that a good product has such poor packaging. I hope Daar reviews the quality of the packaging. Way beyond expectations!
I have normal skin, a bit on the drier side. I've never liked any cream highlighter but always go for powder highlighters, but this one was actually way beyond my expectations. Very nice shimmer, a bit more on the "natural" side instead of glitter and overly pigmented. It blends in nicely and a little goes a long way. I got to test products from DAAR, I've seen so much about them on TikTok so it was super exciting to get them home!💜💛🩷 To start with, I want to give a big + for the packaging on all products from this brand!! I love the colorful design and that they stand out a bit from other brands, I've been tempted to try these just for that⭐️ I'm a bit timid when it comes to highlighters, just because most of them are so glittery, you want that dewy and glossy look! I had some hopes for this one but unfortunately, it's very glittery as well✨ I had the color marshmallow, and I might recommend this one when you've got a little tan, it was slightly too dark for me which looked a bit odd when I applied it on my cheekbones unfortunately, not my color! It's a bit oily in the formula which I like, much better than those that are drier, but unfortunately, it gets a bit patchy and is a bit hard to get even. If you want to try a product from DAAR, I would unfortunately not recommend this one, but rather their blush🩷 #lykoinflutester #daarTranslated from swedish

Very patchy and thick
I was lucky to test this highlight stick! I have to say I am not impressed. It is heavy in use, soooo nice color but very patchy and thick on the skin. I also have Milk and Rare Beauty's highlight sticks at home and don't think this was a good comparison to the "more expensive" brands. It's a shame it was so thick and weird on the skin because the potential is there! You also get an incredible amount of product for the money which makes it last incredibly long! 🩷 but this unfortunately gets a thumbs down from me #lykoinflutester #daarTranslated from norwegian

Unfortunately not impressed
I had the honor of being a #lykoinflutester to try products from daar cosmetics. This time I tested their highlight stick in the color marshmallow. Unfortunately, this product was not for me. I don't know if it was the color, or that it doesn't have much coverage and glow. This color is rose-like, and I personally prefer a highlighter that is more on the golden side. I have been testing this highlighter stick in the shade ”starstruck” for about 2 weeks and it’s totally okay 🩷 The packaging is so pretty with an inviting color, however, I wasn’t a fan of the twist function on the stick. You have to hold the little ”neck” when twisting instead of the body since it’s the whole body that needs to rotate. For me, it gets a bit complicated since it’s such a small area to hold, but you get used to it after a while. So this hasn’t been a big problem, just a little downside. I also think it smells incredible, like some sort of cake. I’ve tried different ways to apply the highlighter and think the best way is with a brush. However, I’ve experienced that it lifts products underneath, even the blush from the same brand. Additionally, I think it requires quite a bit of product to get a result, which is still very weak. The highlighter looks almost wet and contains a little bit of glitter, which many like, but I often have glowy makeup and then the highlighter basically adds nothing at all. With matte makeup, I like this product, but it adds very little to the makeup. I prefer a highlighter that shows a bit more than the rest of the makeup, which this one doesn’t really do in my daily routine. The product is still good and I can recommend it to those of you who want an extremely natural result, even though I probably won’t buy this again 🩷 (On one picture, you can see a natural look with this product where I’ve used it on the cheekbone, which is still as glowy as the rest of the face) #lykoinflutester #daarTranslated from swedish

I have had the honor of testing some products from Daar! This highlighter is so incredibly pretty. The only thing I don't like is that it has glitter in it. But if you like that, then this is something for you. I chose to apply it on my hand first and then use a brush. But unfortunately, it removes the foundation underneath if you're not careful. I'm quite new with sticks when it comes to highlighter, so if you're more experienced, it could probably get even better. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #DAARTranslated from swedish

I have tested this highlighter stick from DAAR, and I'm not quite convinced. I feel it doesn't show up very well and has a bit too large glittery particles.. it applies nicely and is easy to put on, but I don't think it gives much result 🙃 the color is nice if you like a slightly darker highlighter, but otherwise I'm not so satisfied since it doesn't show 🙈 it could be that it has something to do with it being a bit dark, and it shows better with a lighter color!! #lykoinflutester #DAARTranslated from norwegian

As you mentioned, the experience of a highlighter can vary a bit depending on both skin tone and the effect one desires. The color "Marshmallow" has a slightly deeper tone and larger shimmer particles than some other highlighters, so if one prefers a lighter and more subtle glow, it might be perceived as a bit different🥰

I received this highlighter stick from #daar in the shade Pearl as a #lykoinflutester. Such a pretty color and so good, I have never liked highlighters in ”stick” form because I think they apply weirdly, so I have always preferred powder form more, but this one was surprisingly good, it’s not as ”wet” as others. I apply this either with a brush or directly on my face, and it doesn’t remove the foundation underneath, which I have experienced with other similar products, but not this one. #lykoinflutester #daar I received the highlighter from Lyko for testing. I personally prefer to apply stick products with my hand rather than directly on my face. Applying with my hand was a bit difficult since the product doesn't have much pigment or shimmer. I tried applying directly with the stick on the bridge of my nose and on my cheeks, but the pigment was still very moderate. I can see that this product could be used as a primer under makeup to bring glow to the entire face or as a highlighter in a very natural makeup look. There’s nothing wrong with the consistency, and it blends well with other products. The stick's twisting mechanism was a bit confusing. 💕 Compared to liquid/cream blush, I have found it difficult to like highlighters in similar forms, as I often find they leave a gray shadow or disturb the makeup underneath. But this one was good! 💕 I prefer a natural and light glow that doesn't look sweaty but is noticeable. I felt like I found that with this product. A little shimmer (but not glittery) in a pearlescent color was perfect. 💕 I found that applying with my finger works best for me, and gave me the result I wanted, as well as good control over placement and intensity. 💕 The only thing to be a little aware of is that it can crease in wrinkles. I like to put my highlighter on my eyelid as a shimmer, but found that this one settled into the wrinkle there.
