Pretty okay
I have tested NYX's Hair And Body Fragrance Mist and think the product is pretty okay. The packaging design is simple and bright pink, which I think can seem a bit cheap and childish. Unfortunately, this is not quite my style. The packaging is also made of hard plastic, which gives a feeling of a cheap product. The spray mechanism itself is good, and the bottle feels comfortable in the hand during use. The spray also provides an even and light distribution of the product when applied. The scent is strongly vanilla, but it can fade a bit upon application. The scent also doesn't last very long, so you often need to reapply several times to get a lasting fragrance. I like to use mist when I work out, and for that this one is very good. Unfortunately, I feel the scent is too sweet to use otherwise in everyday life. Pretty good
I have tested NYX's Fat Oil Body Butter in the scent Suga Baddie, and I think the product is pretty good. The product has a simple design with a bright pink color. Unfortunately, this design seems a bit cheap and childish in my opinion, and it's not quite my style. Fortunately, the jar makes it very easy to get all the product out of the container, which is a plus! The scent is quite strong with vanilla, but gives a pleasant and lasting fragrance when applied. The product is quite creamy and oily in consistency, which makes it very ideal to use on dry areas like shins, elbows, and similar. I would advise against using the product on areas that are less dry, as this can lead to clogged pores and pimples. Overall, it is a very good product, and the cream is absolutely brilliant for extra dry skin! Pretty okay
I have tested NYX's Fat Oil Body Oil in the scent Suga Baddie, but I'm not quite sure if it was for me. The design is very simple, but cute. Maybe a bit too childish for my taste, and it can seem a bit cheap. The product is easy to use and comes in a hard plastic container with a pump function. One of the first things I notice is the scent! It has an incredibly strong vanilla smell, but it still becomes quite pleasant when applied. This makes the scent last long, which is a plus. The oil is easy to spread on the body and sits nicely on the skin. I also didn't experience any issues with pimples when using the oil. Unfortunately, I don't use body oils very often, so it wasn't quite a hit for me. The design wasn't really my style either, and the scent was a bit too sweet for my taste. Natural, but a bit pigmented
I tried Estée Lauder's Futurist Blushmaker in the color Stolen Glance🩷 I have a combination skin type with tendencies to rosacea, which can be quite oily in the T-zone and partially dehydrated/dry and reactive on the cheeks. I love using blush that brings life to the face, and I'm especially fond of cream blush🥰 The product comes in a sleek and exclusive packaging, resembling a lip product. The applicator tip is quite thin, so unfortunately, you have to press quite a bit to get product out of the tube. I applied the product on my hand, blended it with a brush, and then applied it to my face. Upon application, I feel that the color is very weak, and you have to use a lot of product to get color. This might be because I distribute it on my palm first, as I usually do with my products. It's usually an advantage to have the ability to build up the color, but in this case, it was necessary to use a lot of product to achieve the desired color. Still, the product gives a very natural result, which is a big plus🩷 Overall, the product is just okay. It's a nice and natural color, but it requires quite a bit of product to build up the desired color. I'm attaching pictures of before and after applying the blush. I tried Estée Lauder's Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer in the shade 2N🥥 I have quite neutral undertones, and I struggle a bit with fine lines and blue tones under my eyes💙 Normally, I don't use concealer, as I haven't found one that gives me the natural result I want🥺 First of all, I want to mention that I was very unsure about the color I should choose, and I realize that I picked a shade that is too dark🥺 Therefore, I won't let this affect my assessment of the product. The product comes in a sleek and exclusive packaging, and the container for the product is also nice. You apply products with an applicator that is quite large, but a soft and triangular cushion for application. This makes it easy to apply the desired amount of product with good precision🙌🏼 Unfortunately, I didn't find that the product gave me the desired result, as it sat very unnaturally on my skin. The product was quite dry in consistency, and I therefore tried not to apply too much product. It also emphasized my fine lines and gave quite an orange and blue color under my eyes🥺 I haven't used the product for a longer time, so unfortunately I don't know how it performs throughout the day. Overall, I unfortunately didn't find that the product gives me the desired result, but I don't know if it has to do with my skin type. Natural Result
I have tried Estée Lauder's Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup SPF10 in the shade 2N1 Desert Beige🌵 I have quite neutral undertones and have combination skin with tendencies to acne and fine lines. Normally, I prefer a foundation that sits naturally and lightly on the skin, so that the skin becomes more even without visible signs that I am wearing makeup🙌🏼 First of all, I want to mention that I was very unsure about the color I should choose, and I realize that I have chosen a shade that is too dark🥺 Therefore, I will not let this affect my assessment of the product. The products come in a stylish and exclusive packaging, and that also applies to the container of the product. Unfortunately, I find it somewhat difficult to portion the amount of product, as I prefer to blend the product out on my hand with a brush. Hopefully, this is a matter of getting used to, and the patent means that less product disappears as with, for example, pumps or applicator brushes🙌🏼 Otherwise, the product was easy to blend on the face and gave a quite natural result, aside from the fact that the color was a bit too dark. The product provides a more even skin tone, without it being very visible that you are wearing makeup🫧 Unfortunately, it can feel a bit dry in consistency and partially emphasize fine lines and skin issues. I haven't had the product on for a long time, so I unfortunately don't know how the product performs throughout the day. Overall, it is a pretty good product that meets the requirements I have for a good foundation🤎 However, I will not give the product a top score, as it does seem a bit dry. Gives a nice glow
My boyfriend has been trying the Lumene Nordic-C Feel Good Glow Gift Set for a month now, as I couldn't use it myself (I don't tolerate skincare with vitamin C very well). My boyfriend has normal skin, with few issues regarding acne, texture, etc. However, he struggles quite a bit with wrinkles on his forehead and lacks some glow in his skin. He usually doesn't use any skincare products, which makes his skin quite tired and dehydrated. The products are supposed to help with texture and unevenness, as well as give the skin more glow. So, there is no mention of improvement of wrinkles, even though products with vitamin C usually do that. My boyfriend has used the products on and off for a month, so not every day. He mentions that the products are comfortable on the skin and feel a bit exclusive. The result is so-so, as it hasn't made a big difference. Still, the products do moisturize the skin more, which automatically gives better hydration and less texture. You can also see that the skin has gotten more life and glow, which is very positive. Overall, it's a nice package of products, as it feels very exclusive and provides good moisture to the skin. Whether it has an effect on pigmentation and fine lines is somewhat difficult to assess based on my boyfriend's results. Hard to see effect
I have now tried the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for a month, and have used it as recommended for best effect. I have therefore used it like this: - First week every 3 days for 10 minutes, red and blue light. - Second week every other day for 10 minutes, red and blue light. - Third week every other day for 15 minutes, automatic program. - Fourth week every or every other day for 15 minutes, automatic program. The mask is very flexible to use, as you can easily move freely and keep your eyes open during the treatment. The mask has protection around the eyes, which blocks out most of the light around the eyes. The mask is also soft and flexible, so it can be adjusted as you wish. Unfortunately, it is a bit too long for my face, so it is difficult to get it to fit perfectly on the eyes and mouth. I have combination and sensitive skin, with signs of acne and redness. I also struggle with some oil in the T-zone, and dehydrated skin on the cheeks. Otherwise, I have signs of fine lines on my forehead, between my eyebrows, around my eyes, and "smile lines". I hoped that the mask would improve some of these issues. As you can see in the pictures, it is not so easy to see the difference before and after a month of using the mask. I think my skin has become somewhat calmer, as it is less red and sore/warm than before. The fine lines have also become somewhat less visible. Unfortunately, I am experiencing quite a few more breakouts now than before I started using the mask. This could of course be completely coincidental, as I struggle a lot with hormonal acne. I find it a bit difficult to evaluate the effect of the mask, but I like to believe that it has a good long-term effect. Overall, I would say that it is a very simple step to potentially improve skin health, but whether it has a visible effect on me is probably a bit difficult to say now. Even though I cannot see a significant effect of the mask on my skin, it will fortunately ensure that the skincare products applied afterwards have better efficacy and penetrate better into the skin. Totally fine
I was really looking forward to trying this product, as I think LED masks seem very promising and luxurious. The product comes in a sleek packaging, where all necessary parts are included. The mask is easy to assemble, and you can easily adjust how far you want the mouthpiece to be. The mask itself is pretty and simple in design, and easy to clean. I initially struggled a bit with figuring out how to turn the device on, but fortunately, the user manual was understandable and descriptive. There are two different modes on the device, as the two different wavelengths have different effects/purposes. You should only use the device for a max of 5 minutes only once a day, which the device controls itself with a timer that turns off the device after 5 minutes of use. This is a big plus. You should also use the device on clean skin (without sunscreen and makeup), so that the light waves reach the skin. I have alternated between the two different modes every other day, so I get to test both wavelengths. I have also used the mask every day for about a month. When using the device, you can feel a bit warm after a few minutes, but it’s not uncomfortable. The process also makes no sounds, and the mask is completely silent. The mouthpiece itself is unfortunately a bit awkward to have in your mouth for 5 minutes, and it’s somewhat difficult to assess how to position your lips during the process. As for the results, I can’t see much difference in my lips before and after using the device (before is up, and after is down), but I notice that they feel softer and smoother. So even though there are no visible results, there is a noticeable effect of the product. I can also see that my smile lines have faded a bit (which is also an effect of the mask). All in all, I would say that I am satisfied with the result, even though I haven’t seen any change in the appearance of my lips. It is still somewhat time-consuming to have the mask in your mouth for five minutes every day, as you usually use the mask in connection with skincare or grooming. Despite this, I am satisfied with the product and like to believe that over time it will have a good effect. It also feels a bit luxurious to use the mask as part of the skincare routine. Soft and Good Application Ability
I have tested Rose Inc's Number 3 Foundation Brush, and I must say I'm very satisfied. 🥥DESIGN🥥 The brush has a very simple design, but the simple is often the best. Relatively small, which makes it easy to fit in the makeup bag. The brush is also very light, which makes it easier to maneuver and work with. 🥥USER-FRIENDLINESS🥥 The brush is extremely soft, which is very comfortable when applying products. It is also very easy to distribute the makeup evenly when the brush is so soft. The downside of the brush being so soft is probably the application of product on the brush. It is somewhat difficult to pick up cream products from the palette using such a soft brush, as you often have to use quite a bit of force to pick up enough product on the brush. The brush is also angled, which is an advantage when applying contour and blush. Unfortunately, the distribution of product on the brush is somewhat uneven due to the shape, and you therefore have to concentrate a bit extra during the first application of the product. Fortunately, it is easy to blend evenly with the brush afterwards. The bristles also seem to be of good quality, as the brush does not absorb product.
