Completely okay but no wow
I have had the opportunity to test this ”Beat the Heat” heat protectant from By Lyko 🥰 I am a frequent user of styling tools, mainly in the form of a round brush but also flat/ curling irons, so products containing heat protection are something I use often. Beat the Heat is supposed to, besides protecting the hair from heat tools, among other things counteract frizz, detangle and moisturize the hair, repair dry and damaged hair, protect color, give shine and provide light volume. My hair becomes very soft, shiny and frizz-free so it already lives up to several of the points. 👌🏻 However, I have to be careful not to apply the protectant too close to the scalp, otherwise it risks looking very greasy quickly. The product contains some oils, so I guess that might have something to do with it. The scent is not quite to my taste, it is a bit too sweet and a bit too ”girly” for me who prefers warmer and spicier unisex scents. But I can understand that others like it. I see that many have commented that the spray function is a bit stiff and the spray/ distribution is mediocre, and I can partly agree. But that is probably not unique to Beat the Heat, I experience that with most bottles with this type of spray function. I usually solve it by spraying directly into my hand and then distributing it in the lengths. All in all, it is a completely okay heat protectant at a good price, but not a personal favorite for me. #ByLyko #LykoInflutester1 product in post Completely okay but no wow6 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
A very affordable, good and user-friendly curling iron 👌🏻
I have had the honor and opportunity to test this cute straightener from By Lyko 🥰 The first thing you notice, which you can't help but comment on, is of course the color, which is super cute. But if I could wish for something, I would love to see more colors to choose from. I think, among others, beige with golden/bronze details would be very nice (a bit like the design of By Lyko’s tan drops). But who knows, maybe there will be more options in the future? 😏 The straightener is very easy to work with, it has a long and swivel cord that makes curling and shaping easier. It also weighs much less than other irons I have used, which is both comfortable for the arm and practical for travel. I am far from an expert when it comes to styling tools but I am a frequent user, and I think this straightener can be compared to many of the more expensive variants. Incredibly affordable, in other words. I can definitely recommend it to you with a similar hair type as mine (thin, fine, typically Scandinavian). #ByLyko #LykoInflutester I curl my hair when it is freshly washed and then prepped with mousse and various products containing heat protection, blow-dried with a round brush and a bit of texture spray for extra hold. I curl the hair, brush it out and finish with some styling spray. The curls usually last a day or two ☺️1 product in post A very affordable, good and user-friendly curling iron 👌🏻56 views - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Perfect for you with dry and/or sensitive skin!
I had the lovely opportunity to test this moisturizing and hydrating face cream from The Ordinary. A thousand thanks, Lyko and The Ordinary! 🥰 My skin is "normal", neither dry nor oily, but can sometimes need a little extra hydration during the driest winter months. Therefore, I was very skeptical about whether this face cream would suit me, as it is supposed to be very hydrating, which can be a bit too heavy for me. But honestly, I was actually positively surprised. I have mostly used it as a night cream/night mask, and my skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated in the morning. But I have also tried using it during the day, and a (very) thin layer works without it being too heavy. It almost gives a "dewy effect" and works both with and without makeup on top. However, I doubt that I will be able to use it during spring/summer. I saw someone else describe the formula as "slippery", and I can only agree. I therefore need to work it in for a while, and it takes time before it sinks into the skin. My husband (whom I usually drag along for these tests when they target dry and/or sensitive skin 🤣) gives a thumbs up! He has tried a lot of creams over the years and says that you can feel that this one is slightly greasier than the others, but it still sinks in quickly for him. He has no reaction, which he usually can get, and his skin feels soft and hydrated. The only negative is that it doesn't quite last all day on the worst areas (like around the nostrils), so he has to reapply a bit in the evening, which he doesn't need to do with his daily favorite. However, there is a big price difference (about 550 kr for 50 ml vs this one for 145 kr for 30 ml/275 kr for 100 ml), so with that in mind, he thinks it is incredibly good value for money and can definitely see himself buying it again. So if you have dry and/or sensitive skin, we definitely think this is worth trying! 👏🏻 (I'll throw in an extra tip; put a little on your lips if they feel dry and flaky! Works wonders! 👌🏻) I'll take before and after pictures of both me and my husband. The differences are much better seen when you zoom in. ☺️ #theordinary #lykoinflutester1 product in post Perfect for you with dry and/or sensitive skin!104 views - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Sovereign product for me with burning and dry lips! ❤️
I had the opportunity and honor to test this exfoliating lip serum from The Ordinary. A thousand thanks, Lyko and The Ordinary! 🥰 This is the first time I’m trying a chemical exfoliating serum specifically for the lips. Strangely enough, as I struggle with dry, burning, and peeling lips during the winter months. It has ended up that I only use Vaseline, which has worked.. okay, but not wow. So I was a bit extra excited to try this serum to see if it could be a better and more effective alternative! It is very light and thin in formula, and not much product is needed to apply (I accidentally took a bit too much in the video 😅). The lips become instantly hydrated and soft, and the burning disappears in one go. The effect and result last for several hours; if I use it in the evening, the lips are still soft in the morning, if I use it in the morning, it lasts more or less the whole day without needing to top up with Vaseline or other lip balm. I have used the serum every other to every third day as recommended, but the effect doesn’t last that long. The lips become dry and burning again, so I would have needed to use it daily for the best desired effect. As many others write, there is a quite distinct taste, and I agree with that, but the more I have used the serum, the less it bothers me. This information is also stated in the product description, so it wasn’t a surprise directly, but if I could wish for something, a more neutral and/or less intrusive taste would definitely be preferred. In summary, I think it is a very good product that lives up to what is promised; smoothing, illuminating, hydrating, and plumping. Additionally, the burning disappears, which is not mentioned in the product description but definitely gives an extra plus. Furthermore, I think it is reasonably priced as it requires a small amount per use, which means it will last a long time. I will definitely continue to use it, and can absolutely see myself buying it when it runs out! 👌🏻 #theordinary #lykoinflutester1 product in post Sovereign product for me with burning and dry lips! ❤️ - The post was made 5 monthsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare

I haven't found any eye patches that I'm totally sold on yet, but I really liked these with Verso's patented retinoate molecule! 😍 I have a very easy time getting puffy around the eyes, and with the slightest bit of tiredness, I get proper dark circles. These eye patches gave an instant effect; the darkness under my eyes decreased significantly, less puffy and tired eyes, and it felt more tightened – and at the same time hydrated! - around the eye area. Additionally, the masks fit like a dream! They didn't slide down at all (which I experience with the majority of all eye masks), but they stay where they should. The masks are a bit thicker than I'm used to, maybe that helps keep them in place? I also liked the shape; these are a bit more rounded at the edges, which takes away the feeling that they are on their way into the eye. Whether it gives a long-lasting effect is hard to say after just one use, but I'm definitely tempted to try. But spending about 100kr/pair when the recommended use is 2-3 times/week feels like too much to me - and the price tag is the only reason it doesn't get 5/5 stars. But if you're looking for an extra tightening glow for a special occasion - then these are definitely worth a try! I'm very impressed! ✨ #Lykoinflutester #Versoskincare1 product in post New favorite 🫶🏻116 views - The post was made 5 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Super nice effect but doesn't sit well on me
I have a very easy time getting swollen around the eyes, and with the slightest bit of tiredness, I get proper dark circles. I haven't found any eye patches that I'm completely sold on, so I was sooooo eager to try these Energizing Eye Patches from Verso. Thank you so much for this opportunity, Verso and Lyko! 🥰 I've been using these eye patches regularly (about every other day) for about 4 weeks. The positives: - Nice, luxurious packaging! - Incredibly generous amount of serum! - Cooling feel: I've tested both having them in the fridge and without. It definitely gets better after they've been stored in the fridge, but I tend to forget about them if they're lying there. - Effect: Nice result! Brighter eyes with more glow and reduces swelling. The dark circles decrease a bit, I might have wished for a slightly stronger effect there. The negatives: - They are quite thin and a bit flimsy, which means they don't sit firmly on me but slide directly down onto my cheek. I have to constantly adjust them, or just lie flat still during the working time (which there is rarely time for 😅). - I'm not a huge fan of the “pointy” side, it feels like I'm going to get poked in the eye. I know you can try to flip them over, but then they actually slid down even more. Therefore, I prefer more rounded sides (and preferably not such a deep curve on the patch, if one wants to be super picky). I am definitely satisfied with the result (both the immediate effect and the long-term result), but the shape and thickness of the patch unfortunately pull down the overall rating. For that price, they should sit significantly better. #Lykoinflutester #Versoskincare1 product in post Super nice effect but doesn't sit well on me95 views - The post was made 5 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Moisturizing mask that gives a nice glow 👌🏻
I love face masks in all their forms, and I was really looking forward to trying this hydrogel mask from Verso. The first impression was very positive! - The mask felt nice and cooling throughout the entire usage time - even though I hadn't had it in the fridge beforehand. - It doesn't slide around at all, it's not flimsy, and it stays firmly in place. This despite being soaked in serum. I suspect it's because it's both two-part and a bit thicker in material. I really liked that, big thumbs up! 👌🏻 But then, after about 10-15 minutes, it started to sting quite a bit, which made me take off the mask earlier than I had planned. I was a bit surprised by the reaction, my skin is usually very tolerant and rarely reacts. It was really no big deal, it got a little red, slightly swollen, and tingly on the cheek and down towards the chin (picture 3), which went away quite quickly. Maybe just a poorly timed bad skin day, but it felt a bit disappointing, I was so pumped for this! The result was still well approved, despite a relatively short working time. My skin got extra glow and felt very moisturized, soft, and smooth long afterward. If it hadn't been for the reaction, the mask would have absolutely gotten 4 out of 5! #Lykoinflutester #Versoskincare1 product in post Moisturizing mask that gives a nice glow 👌🏻116 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. A great alternative for you with dry and/or sensitive skin 👌🏻
I have had the opportunity and honor to test two products from Klairs: Rich Moist Soothing Serum (80ml) and Rich Moist Soothing Cream (80ml). 🫶🏻 The Rich Moist Soothing Cream is supposed to be a deeply moisturizing cream that strengthens the skin's protective barrier and is specially designed and recommended for sensitive skin. Perfect for this time of year with winter and dry air! Personally, I don't have major issues with either dry or sensitive skin, just a few small dry patches around my nostrils and generally a bit drier in winter than in other seasons. Therefore, I never buy face creams that are specifically designed for dry skin – those products tend to be too greasy for me. My husband, on the other hand, has very dry skin (year-round) and is incredibly sensitive. He flakes as soon as he neglects to moisturize, and he needs very gentle, moisturizing, and soothing products, otherwise his skin becomes red, spotty, and stings. He felt like a perfect candidate for these products. So he got to do this test with me - and he is also the one who stands for the before-and-after picture this time! 😄 My husband's thoughts: Doesn't sting, doesn't itch, stops flaking, and it lasts pretty much all day. It can get a bit dry by evening, which he doesn't experience with his regular face cream. But there is also a couple of hundred kronor difference between the products, so for this price, it's more than approved, he says, and it definitely lives up to what it promises. I have tested both with and without the accompanying serum, and I believe it gets a bit better with the serum, but it's not a must; it works to use just the face cream if you want. My thoughts: I expected a very greasy cream, but I don't think it is; I was almost a little surprised at how light it was. For me, it is actually just the right amount of moisturizing (in winter) without looking greasy or shiny. However, I think it might be a bit too moisturizing for me in spring/summer, but it is very pleasant now during winter. Good durability – my skin feels moisturized all day. 👌🏻 I have also tested using both with and without the serum, and I agree that it gets a bit better with the serum. As mentioned, we have used the product together, so a total of about 3-4 times a day over the course of a month, and there is just over half left. I would therefore say that one package lasts about 3-4 months, depending on how much you use. About 400 kr for up to 3-4 months of use we find more than reasonable and very affordable! 👌🏻 The only critical comment I have is about the packaging; It is a tube that feels like a wide toothpaste tube or an ointment you buy at the pharmacy. I wasn't really a fan of that; I would have preferred a slightly nicer design. 🫣 So for you who have dry and/or sensitive skin that often reacts to skincare products; this could absolutely be an alternative for you to try! #Klairs #LykoInflutester1 product in post A great alternative for you with dry and/or sensitive skin 👌🏻561 views - The post was made 7 monthsRating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
A fantastic option for you with sensitive skin! 👌🏻

He felt like a perfect candidate for these products. So he got to do this test with me - and he is also the one who stands for the before-and-after picture this time! My husband's thoughts: He rarely uses serum normally, so he doesn’t really have much to compare with. But like the face cream, the serum doesn’t sting. It doesn’t itch, it stops flaking, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I’ve tested both with and without the serum and feel that it gets a bit better with the serum, but it’s not a must. I can absolutely recommend the combination of serum + face cream for those who have sensitive and/or dry skin, and are looking for gentle and soothing products. 👍🏻 My thoughts: I’m a real sucker for serums and use it daily in both my morning and evening routines. I usually have very dry skin, and often buy serums that have more properties than just moisture focus (my usual products generally have a strong focus on anti-aging and evening out skin tone). But now, being pregnant, I’ve had to pause a large part of those products and work with some gentler variants, and it was perfect to test this serum! The serum has a good texture - on the thicker side, which I prefer - and absorbs quickly, and my skin feels very soft and smooth, and stays hydrated all day. 👌🏻 As mentioned, we both used the product together, so a total of about 3-4 times a day over a month, and only about a third has been used? If you’re one person, then a pack should last at least.. 4 months? It’s incredibly economical, in other words! And very reasonably priced with generous size! A super good option for you if you’re looking for a moisturizing serum! Thumbs up from us! 🙌🏻 #Klairs #LykoInflutester1 product in post A fantastic option for you with sensitive skin! 👌🏻228 views
