I got to try the ACO Face Purifying Booster Serum from the Purifying series ✨ The packaging is one of the things I like! The pump bottle feels simple and convenient to use, but at the same time has a more luxurious feel even though the product has a very good price. The serum contains salicylic acid, or BHA, which is an ingredient I’ve unfortunately realized my skin doesn’t really like. I find it too drying for me and it’s a bit too much for my skin barrier. So it’s really not so much about the product itself, but more that BHA doesn’t seem to be the right type of exfoliation for my skin 🩵 So unfortunately, it’s not a full score from me either. But if you have skin that reacts better to BHA, I definitely think this could be a product worth trying. I have had the chance to try ACO Face Purifying Night Balm, which is part of their Purifying series 🌙 I like this one a bit more than the day cream. It has a slightly thicker consistency and I feel that it moisturizes better, which suits my skin more. However, personally, I would have liked to see a night cream that focuses solely on hydration and letting the skin recover overnight. This one still contains ingredients that work with, among other things, sebum and exfoliation, and since I have a fairly sensitive skin barrier, I would rather choose a simple and soothing cream at night. The price is a plus though, and I think it feels worth the money 🩵 If I’m being a bit picky, I also don’t like the screw cap on the tube. More moisture needed
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try ACO Face Purifying Day Cream 🩵✨ I have acne-prone skin but am also quite dry, so for me it's always a bit difficult to find a day cream that both works for pimples and provides enough moisture. This one feels light and absorbs quickly into the skin. However, unfortunately, I didn't feel it provided enough hydration, especially on days when I wear makeup. Towards the end of the day, my skin could feel a bit dry and the makeup didn't look nice anymore. Therefore, unfortunately, this won't be a new favorite for me, although I think it might suit someone with slightly less dry skin better. Moisturizing
I got to try XLASH Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels 🧖♀️✨ They are easy to apply and stay well in place without sliding around too much. They feel cool and comfortable on the skin, and I also experienced that the area under the eyes felt moisturized right after use 💦 However, I didn’t notice any major effect beyond just the moisturizing. I saw no clear difference in puffiness. For me, it was therefore more a pleasant moment and a feeling of everyday luxury than a product that gave visible results. The packaging feels like it contains a lot of plastic? So a small minus. The product absolutely does what it promises when it comes to providing moisture. But since I didn’t experience any bigger effect beyond that, it’s probably not something I see myself buying again. Smooth Moisture Boost
I have tested the Amika Dream Routine Overnight Hydration Mask, which is a product category I actually haven't tried before. Therefore, I had zero expectations when I started using it, but it came at just the right time, in the middle of the dry winter when my hair really needs a little extra moisture 💧 I have quite long hair and usually use about 2-3 pumps, which feels like a suitable amount to get the product evenly distributed in the lengths. One thing I was positively surprised by is how nicely it dries into the hair. It doesn't leave any heavy or sticky feeling at all, which I am always afraid of with leave-in products. Instead, the hair feels soft and rehydrated 🤍 The scent is also really nice and fresh. The packaging is in the same colorful and patterned style as the rest of Amika's products, which you recognize immediately. All in all, this is a product I will definitely continue to use. It's simple, does its job, and feels like a good little moisture boost when the hair needs it. Not a game changer
I got to try Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, and as someone who uses dry shampoo quite regularly, I'm always curious to try new ones. It can really be a lifesaver on those days when your hair needs a little refresh between washes 🤍 First impression is the bottle! It's very colorful and full of patterns, which feels quite typical of Amika. I think it's pretty and fun to look at. The product itself absolutely does its job. My hair feels fresher and the scent is nice. I'm a brunette, so I tend to be a bit cautious with dry shampoos since many can leave a gray residue. This one, however, I think does quite well on that front, as long as you don't spray too much and work it into your hair a bit. However, I unfortunately didn't get a real wow experience from this one. For me, it feels quite similar to many other dry shampoos I've tried, even cheaper alternatives. I've also gotten a bit spoiled after trying K18 AirWash, which I've really fallen for, even though it's more expensive 🫢 I will definitely use up the bottle, but we'll see if I buy this one again. However, it might be worth trying if you're still on the hunt for your holy grail dry shampoo. Everyday mascara found!
I had the chance to test the Wonder’Bond Lash Filler + Hyaluronic Mascara in the color 001 Black, which LYKO influtested ✨ The shape of the brush is nice and does a good job of separating the lashes without clumping 👏🏻 The lashes become longer and nicely defined, even though I don’t feel it gives a ton of volume. The color is also really black, which is always appreciated! The packaging feels quite generic and nothing that stands out particularly. It’s absolutely fine, but doesn’t give a direct luxury feel. What I really like is that the mascara is easy to wash off. It stays well throughout the day but doesn’t require you to scrub the lashes in the evening to get it off. Big plus for that! ✅ Considering the price, I think this is a good mascara. It gives a nice result, is easy to use, and works perfectly for everyday. However, it’s not a mascara that gave me a wow feeling or that beats my absolute favorite. BUT it definitely ranks high among the mascaras I’ve tested recently and probably lands in a solid second place. I have had the chance to test Lait Corporel Moisturizing Body Lotion from #lykoinflutester as #biotherm 🍊🍋✨ This is a lotion I return to several times, maybe not nonstop, but it always manages to find its way back to me. The consistency is light yet still moisturizing, and it absorbs surprisingly quickly without leaving the skin sticky. The scent is fresh and wonderfully citrusy, one that works just as well on warm summer days as in winter. Evening Luxury in a Jar
I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Revitalizing Supreme+ Night Cream from #esteelauder 🌙 The skin feels amazing right after application, soft, smooth, and with a nice glow. The scent is subtle and pleasant, and the cream itself is thick, silky, and very easy to spread on the face. The jar looks luxurious, but I'm not super happy about cream in a jar for hygienic reasons. For the price, there should also be a spatula included. It absorbs without leaving a sticky surface, which I really appreciate. Perfect night cream if you want to feel a little extra pampered. This would also make a lovely gift. I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Advanced Night Repair Serum from #esteelauder ✨ Right after application, the skin gets a really nice glow and looks fresh! The consistency is light and runny, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin soft and properly hydrated. The scent is also really lovely, a bit citrusy but in a sophisticated way, nothing that overpowers. The bottle is heavy, luxurious, and feels premium. It looks really nice in the bathroom and would make a really luxurious gift. I really like how the skin looks afterwards, hydrated, soft, and with a nice glow. The only thing that brings down the overall experience is the price… I’m a bit unsure if I would have bought it at full price myself, even though the product is super good.
