Perfect freckles!
I bought this specifically to use as a freckle pen, so that’s the basis for my review! The perfect color for natural freckles; hard to get! The pen is well-moisturized, very precise, and easy to blend out if you gently tap your finger over it right after application. Since this is a stain, it also stays very well on the skin, actually all day. This is better than freckle pens I’ve bought before. I’ve been so lucky to get to test this eye cream as a Lyko Influtester! First, a bit about me and my skin: 41 years old with some fine lines around the eyes. Not particularly dry skin, but I like to use eye cream for extra moisture and a good base for makeup and concealer. I’ve been using eye cream mostly since I was a teenager, and it’s really just become a habit. I’ve tried a lot of weird and not-so-great products in that area... I don’t expect miracles from an eye cream, and I don’t think you get them either. But this one from The Ordinary does not disappoint! It has a nice, small tube that’s easy to keep in the cabinet or take on trips, and it’s easy to dose out. Nice and sleek design too! But the content is what matters most; this gives lots of moisture without being sticky, it’s easy to pat under the eyes and dries quickly! You only need a tiny dot to cover under both eyes. Plus, it sits very nicely under makeup (I use both corrector and concealer, so the eye cream has to deliver!). And the price is hard to beat – you get a lot for your money here! Too strong scent
The product itself is okay. Moisturizing. But you have to apply a little, otherwise it gets messy. Also, the color is very light so you get a bit of concealer lips if you apply too much. This has become my new everyday perfume and it smells mildly of vanilla, without being too sweet or artificial. Meh...
Four products at such a low price seemed too good to be true. And in a way, they were. I'm not very impressed with either the formula or the result. They are sticky to apply. Little shine. Moderate pigment. The brown is very gray-toned. My favorite among these is the white/clear one. But I think the rest will unfortunately remain unused or be given away to someone who wants to try them. Disappointing…
I was on the waiting list for a long time for one specific shade; sugar toasted bronze. When I finally got it, I was excited to finally try it out! But I was quite disappointed 😢 The product is very dry, so it’s hard to blend. The result is matte and not very pigmented either. Hi! I use shade 02 in the Lancome Teint Miracle foundation – which is a perfect match for me 💫 Which shade in this one corresponds? Favorite!
It’s both incredibly nice and a bummer when you find the perfect foundation in a higher price range… Nice because you finally have a foundation you can use all year round and for all occasions. Bummer because it’s from an expensive brand 😅 But honestly; I’m on my fourth bottle of this foundation, and I don’t care if the price goes up. I will buy it! It’s somewhere between very liquid and firm in consistency, basically just the perfect consistency to easily blend with both brush and beautyblender. The finish is naturally glowy; not disco ball, just fresh and healthy. It stays nicely all day! Other products layer seamlessly on top.
