✨ Clarins Instant Concealer 00 – a fresh touch to the base ✨
Clarins Instant Concealer in 00 is a product I really like to have when I want a slightly more even and fresh base. 🤍 I think a good concealer can do an incredible amount for makeup, even when you don’t use much of the rest of the base. Often, a little concealer in the right places is enough to make the whole face feel more finished. What I like about the Instant Concealer is that it feels easy to work with. I usually start with a small amount and gently dab it where I want more coverage. Then I can build up a little extra if I feel I need it. I really prefer that method because I think it gives a much more natural result than applying a thick layer right away. I like to use it under the eyes when I want the area to look a bit more even and fresh. It’s also one of the parts of makeup where I think the right concealer makes the biggest difference. When I’ve fixed the area under the eyes and then add a little blush and mascara, the whole face immediately feels more put together, even if the rest of the makeup is very simple. 🌸 I also like being able to use concealer on other parts of the face. If I want to even out a bit here and there, I can use a small amount and blend it out well. That way, I avoid having to put foundation all over the face if I just want to correct certain areas. Shade 00 also works well when I want to keep the base light and fresh. I like when the result still feels soft and natural and doesn’t get too heavy or overdone. For me, a good concealer is very much about helping the overall look without you really thinking about having used it. This is simply a product that fits very well into my makeup routine. I can use it for a quick everyday makeup, but also when I want to create a more worked base. 💕 I think Clarins Instant Concealer 00 gives me just that little extra finish that makes the makeup feel more complete. Doesn't suit during summer!
Normally use shade 02, but as soon as I get color, it feels too light. 02.5 looks a bit yellow and 03 is too dark. Is there another concealer with a similar formula to this one with more shades? The shade 02 is probably closest to the one you had before. The formula differs slightly: Instant Concealer is more liquid and has less light-reflecting "pearlescent" effect than Magic Concealer. I’ve also checked their website because you can get a bit confused by their numbering 🙈, but it also says so there, and you can see the order from light to dark (where 02 is in between them). That this product isn't talked about more is crazy. I used it constantly a few years ago but then looked for some cheaper alternatives to now come back to it, and it is worth EVERY single penny!!! Incredible coverage, especially under the eyes and on my eyelids which are thin and dark with visible blood vessels. It really melts into the skin and lays so naturally nice and without creasing. It takes minimal product (if I happen to take too much, it has creased a little) and I usually dab it in with my finger for best effect.
