Beachkind Natural Sunscreen Kids is a natural sunscreen that protects your child’s skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation using a mineral filter based on non-nano zinc oxide. Our zinc oxide is so-called “Invisible Zinc,” which means the sunscreen does not leave a white cast. The sunscreen is easy to apply, suitable for children’s sensitive skin, and contains moisturizing and softening oils from jojoba, sunflower, coconut, and mango, as well as soothing calendula extract.

Beachkind’s sunscreen also meets the requirements to be classified as a “Reef Friendly” sunscreen – free from ingredients such as oxybenzone/benzophenone-3, octinoxate, avobenzone, and octocrylene, which are banned in sunscreens in places like Hawaii and in marine reserves around the world, as well as free from microplastics and nanoparticles. In addition, the formula is water-resistant so that as little sunscreen as possible ends up in the water.

How to Use:

Application

In general, you should use 2 mg/cm² of skin. A general recommendation for applying sunscreen to the entire body of an adult is 30–50 ml, or a handful. A general application for the face and neck/decolletage of an adult is 5 ml, or about one teaspoon.

Application for children:
Shake the sunscreen. For best results, we recommend first applying small dots of the cream onto the skin. Then spread them out using circular motions to create a thin, even, and almost invisible layer. Apply plenty of sunscreen before your child goes out into the sun. For children, a full child’s handful (around 20 ml) is a good amount for the whole body. And don’t forget that sunscreen is also needed in the shade. Apply sunscreen every two hours on both the body and face for optimal protection. Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep infants and young children out of the sun during the peak hours between 11 am and 3 pm. Remember to apply sunscreen to lips, ears, toes, and the tip of the nose, as these areas are easily forgotten! Strong sun dries out the skin, so make sure to wash off the sunscreen and moisturize your child’s skin in the evening with an after-sun product or body lotion.
