Disappointing...
I saw this on TikTok and wanted to test it myself. I scrubbed my lips and applied Vaseline for about an hour before testing for the best possible result. I applied this in three quite uneven layers (took a long time to get it as even as possible, it was not easy to say the least) before I waited about a minute and wiped it off. The result was mildly disappointing. It settled in places I didn't know were dry, and it didn't look good at all... Luckily, it only lasted a few hours before it was completely gone. Good but a bit weird...
I bought this lipstain because I've seen x number of ads on TikTok and Instagram for several years and finally wanted to try it myself. I bought the shade Lovely. The good: - The color is nice. - The color holds well and looks really nice when you have lip gloss on. The less good: - It felt almost like a plumber when I applied it, which was less pleasant. - After I wiped off the blue layer, my lips felt almost a bit numb and felt less good when the product is for the lips... - The price, I would say it's a bit too expensive when Nyx has lipstains that almost work just as well. - It was easy to see the application and where to cover (good) but it was hard to get an even surface without feeling like you were wasting product. Would I buy it again? Yes, but in a different color! I didn't think it would be as brown as it turned out in real life. Pretty color but dried out my lips
I bought two different colors of this lip stain, whimsical and lovely. Thought the colors were super pretty on and it lasted almost all day on me. But I noticed after the first use how dry my lips became, didn’t think much of it at the time, but after using them several times now, I’ve realized that this product dries my lips out extremely. My lips cracked and got sores on them. After I stopped using them, my lips went back to being normal. Don’t know if others have experienced this? I've heard some mixed opinions about this, and I've been a little nervous to try it. I've tried a few other lip stains before that in no way looked good.😅 But this one was lovely! How to use:
Start with clean, dry lips. If needed, exfoliate your lips first with WONDER BLADING 3-in-1 Lip Scrub to remove any dry patches.
Step 1: Apply WONDER BLADING Lip Mask to your lips. Apply 2-3 layers to completely cover your lips, ensuring no natural skin is visible. (The bluish-purple mask is not the final shade.) For a soft color, let the mask sit on your lips for at least 10-15 seconds. For a more intense shade, leave the color on for 30-45 seconds with each application.
Step 2: After waiting a few seconds, start from each corner of your mouth. At this stage, it's essential not to stretch your lips as the mask will crack and won't come off uniformly. Use a damp cloth to remove the lip mask or any remaining pieces.
Protip!
* You can intensify the color by repeating the application process. Before you reapply, ensure your lips are completely dry.
* If you want a glossy finish on your lips, add Wonder Blading lip gloss, or if desired, outline your lips or use any other lip product you prefer. WONDER BLADING does not fade or smudge when layered with other lip products.
* Remove WONDER BLADING from your lips with an oil-based facial cleanser or an oil-based makeup remover designed for waterproof cosmetics.
