It’s rare that I fall for a product right at the first use. I actually didn’t have such high expectations for this, but WOW! ➕ The bottle has a handy pump function that makes it easy to dose the product. ➕ The scent is fresh, a bit tangy but not strong at all. I think this works well even for scent-sensitive people. ➕ The serum provides good moisture without weighing down or making the hair greasy. ➕ The hair becomes shiny and free from frizz. No home run
I have tested the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 24 / 7 Night & Day Serum for just over a week. My hair is medium thick, bleached with blonde highlights, a bit dry, and gets frizzy easily. I like the practical pump bottle that the product has, it's easy to get the right amount out. I take about 1-2 pumps per use and scrunch it into the lengths. I am sensitive to scents and easily get migraines from strong fragrances, but the serum has a mild and pleasant scent that just feels fresh, without being overpowering. I really appreciate that! I have tested the product mainly on dry hair but also a few times on wet hair after washing. The serum has replaced my hair oil that I usually take a pump of in the evening before bed, and I can feel a difference. Unfortunately, not for the better. The product is supposed to provide up to 3 times more moisture, add shine, and reduce frizz according to Redken, but I notice none of that. My hair is rather drier than usual and the shine I used to have has disappeared. I also find my hair to be more frizzy than usual. The only thing I have changed in my hair routine is the serum, so unfortunately, it is the culprit in this drama. The serum costs 559 kr and it is expensive, especially with the lack of effect that I experienced. It is not a product I can imagine buying again, as it did not suit my hair at all. Good, but not a favorite
A good serum with a practical pump and nice scent, but not a favorite of mine. Helps with daily wear, but I have other products that do the same for a cheaper price. This product moisturizes my hair very well! I think the scent is divine. My hair is damaged from the tips up to my eyes quite a bit. Which one?
I already have the same Leave In Treatment from the line in use, and I'm wondering if I need both, and if not, which one I should prefer? I naturally have coarse, frizzy, and dry natural curls, but I straighten them almost after every wash. I still want to keep my hair healthy and in good condition, and so far I have succeeded with this line. A serum is a good addition if your hair still feels dry, rough, or you want more smoothing and care for your hair even at night. However, it does not replace leave-in conditioner, but rather complements it. A light hair oil can be good for finishing and controlling frizz, but it's more of a bonus than a necessity 😊2 likes

Hey! I’m pretty confused about my hair (not confused) but I dyed my blonde hair brown and turned it back so now it’s blonde again, it took time but I’ve still bleached it myself until I thought it looked good. My hair is also a bit wavy in itself and needs a lot of moisture, and considering that it’s damaged and needs even more moisture, I wonder if this is worth trying in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner? Asking because these products are quite expensive, does it provide moisture? Will it help with moisture? I have high porosity hair with a touch of medium porosity. Citric acid and dark colored hair?
I got a little curious about this series since I've read a lot of good things about it. So I've been using this product (also shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and a leave-in cream) for a few weeks. I may have experienced that my hair feels a bit better and softer, so that's good. But suddenly the color in my hair is fading much faster. It colors dark brown that leans towards reddish-violet. And suddenly the lengths and ends turn orange in no time. I wonder if it could be the acid in these products that pulls the color out more? Okay that it's summer and the sun is doing its part.
