    Pretty but sits poorly!

    I got Poppy Red in a Lovables box and I can't remember the other one, but maybe it was a box too?! Anyway, the polishes look incredibly nice and a bit luxurious in appearance, and the colors are damn pretty. The brush is perfect to paint with, easy to get to and get a decent amount of polish. But that's where the positives end with these polishes, because I don't think I've ever tried a nail polish before that has worn so poorly. Within a day, it has chipped and worn off quite a bit, it looks like you've had the polish on for about a week. This despite the fact that I'm careful with the prep work and use both base coat and top coat (my tried and true favorites from Essie). I've tested both polishes at least 2 times each to see if it wasn't just something temporary that caused the poor durability, but unfortunately not. Either the quality of the polishes was bad or there was something with my nails that didn't match. It's a shame because the polishes are so pretty, but they are way too expensive to have such poor durability. #lykoreview

    But yes, try this!

    Got this in shade Poppy with Lovables festive. I think the color is a coral-strawberry-red, so bright and pretty! Didn't think it would match my skin tone, but it suited superbly. Longer flat brush, easy formula, easy to work with, applied nicely, dried quickly, nice finish. Luxurious bottle. Wore off a little faster than my favorites - the only little downside so far. Fun to have more green sweet options, even in nail polish!
