Is it common for hair to feel dirty?
My hairdresser recommended this kit since we have our own well with iron. But I feel like my hair gets greasy, smells bad, and feels dirty even after washing. The only time it feels clean is if I use the small sachets. We have a filter in the shower as well as lime and iron filters installed in the house. Is it common for it to feel like this? I've also tested the shampoo in places other than home, as my hairdresser recommended, to see if it was only the water at home causing this. But it's the same everywhere. Soft Hair
We have a summer house in an area with hard water (about 16-17) and I notice a huge difference with this shampoo and conditioner. The hair becomes soft and feels clean. With other shampoos, the hair doesn't feel quite clean at the roots and is dry in the lengths. I have hair type thin Scandinavian hair strands with natural waves that easily become frizzy. Silicone = protection against minerals?
Hi! A question - purely chemically and scientifically. 1. Could one use the pouch solely to remove minerals? 2. Then use a conditioner with silicones (instead of this conditioner without silicones)? Since silicones can encapsulate the minerals and buildup, I think one should be able to do the opposite… remove all deposits and directly encapsulate the hair with a silicone conditioner to protect against future deposits. And then use the pouch in between. That way, you wouldn’t need to buy the whole kit, just the pouch, and protect the hair with silicones. Chemically speaking! Or? I wonder how and if this works. I have naturally blonde hair but it turns yellow from our well water.
