    Silicone = protection against minerals?

    Hi! A question - purely chemically and scientifically. 1. Could one use the pouch solely to remove minerals? 2. Then use a conditioner with silicones (instead of this conditioner without silicones)? Since silicones can encapsulate the minerals and buildup, I think one should be able to do the opposite… remove all deposits and directly encapsulate the hair with a silicone conditioner to protect against future deposits. And then use the pouch in between. That way, you wouldn’t need to buy the whole kit, just the pouch, and protect the hair with silicones. Chemically speaking! Or? Thinking either that or buying shower filtration, having a hard time seeing how this kit would solve the root of the problem :/

      Hey Jossan! 👋🏼 Here comes a bit of a nerdy but clarifying answer 💡 The most important thing in the Malibu C Hard Water Kit is the shampoo and the crystal treatment, they are the ones that actually work to dissolve and lift away minerals, lime, and metal residues that have built up in the hair. So if you want to invest smartly, focus there! 💙💧 If you then want to give your hair a little extra love afterwards, it’s absolutely fine to use a conditioner with silicones. It encapsulates the strand and protects against external stressors, nothing dangerous at all, especially not in professional products 😊 But! If you want to get to the root cause of the problem (like discoloration or the hair behaving strangely due to the water at home), a shower filter is the most long-term solution 🥰 Hope that clarified things a bit! Have a nice day ☀️

    Satisfied with it is EXPENSIVE

    I have PD so I tried this one that I heard could be a better alternative. I have only used it on the area where I don’t get PD rashes, i.e. I have applied it over my cheeks and forehead. I started with 1 time a week and then 2-3 times a week. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but I think my skin looks much more even!! And it helps to get a better glow. It is however CRAZY expensive, but I recommend buying it in 15ml to test if it even works for you before you invest in 30ml ☀️ My skin otherwise: some occasional hormonal acne, a few red marks from previous hormonal acne. I do dermaplaning 1 time a month, use la Roche as a wash + cream. A bit of snail mucin in the evening :) Tendency to dryness and no glow naturally

    Bleach?

    Hey! I've been using this for two months now almost daily in my evening routine and had a period where my skin got really good. I have hormonal acne sometimes before my period and perioral dermatitis. So I was very satisfied at first! But lately, my skin has become quite chaotic? It stings a bit during my evening routine, I've gotten more acne, and my PD is back. It's really hard to know what it is, of course. But then I googled the ingredients in this before I was going to order a new one (since mine is starting to run out), and realized that sodium hypochlorite is bleach and thus corrosive on the skin. I get that it's mostly water in this spray, of course! But I wonder how good it can really be to have bleach on the skin at all? And then together with phosphoric acid, which is used for rust removal… Haha, it sounds completely crazy!!!! What do you think at Lyko? I'm so confused! 😅😅😅 I asked chatgpt for fun what it thinks about the ingredients without saying what it was for, and it said (see picture). What do you educated people say? Help haha.

      Hello there Jossan! 💖👋🏻 Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts! I understand that the ingredients might sound a bit scary, but they are used in very small and safe amounts in cosmetic products and are carefully tested. If the product doesn’t work for you or causes discomfort, we recommend pausing the use, especially if your PD has flared up again. I want to suggest our skin test that our amazing skin therapists analyze and provide the best recommendations based on your needs 🌸 lyko.com/sv/hudtestet Take care! 💕

    Palm Oil

    It contains palm oil and I regret so much that I bought this. It doesn't feel good! :( I would love tips on ceramide cream that suits perioral dermatitis without an oil that harms animals and nature 🥺💔

      It's a shame that you sell products that contain palm oil 🤯 I thought the biggest stores in Norway had stopped selling this 🤯

    Great 2 in 1 gel!

    Love it! Keeps my brows in place without leaving white and I tried to do a tight ponytail - keeps the flyaways in place, smooth tube and brush, ah… will buy again!! 5 points for being a 2 in 1 product :) Have Scandinavian half-wavy hair, not so frizzy air-dried, very smooth (and therefore hard to keep hairstyles), for reference.

    Favorite!

    I love it! I use it for my face - like two or three drops are enough. For my body, I use like five. I have PD and my skin thinks it's okay! :)

    Best clip!

    I've had many different clips, and my straight hair rarely stays put! But this one has little rubber stoppers on the inside that keep it in place! I hope Lyko makes more colors, like pearly white, etc. for like ah! Such a good price and such a good clip!!!!
