Oh my God, this is magical! I love that it can be built up and adjusted in strength. It really sits like a rock even after time has passed and I've had both food and drink. Speaking of dry lips, you can apply a good amount of some moisturizing cream after the lips have dried properly, it doesn't affect the color and makes them feel softer. Disappointing...
I saw this on TikTok and wanted to test it myself. I scrubbed my lips and applied Vaseline for about an hour before testing for the best possible result. I applied this in three quite uneven layers (took a long time to get it as even as possible, it was not easy to say the least) before I waited about a minute and wiped it off. The result was mildly disappointing. It settled in places I didn't know were dry, and it didn't look good at all... Luckily, it only lasted a few hours before it was completely gone. I have since used it as a lipliner, which it works very well as! A byproduct of crude oil yes, but it is a refined derivative, paraffinum/petrolatum (important difference between petroleum and petrolatum) Very safe, pure, and protective. Very good at locking in moisture and keeping dry areas protected and soft. Also used for hair, keeps the hair soft and protected and helps the healing process. :)3 likes

A favorite that can never run out! 💕
Since I tried #wonderskin Lip Stain for the first time almost a year ago, it has become an essential part of my routine. It immediately got a natural spot in my bathroom cabinet, and now I'm on my third shade! 👄 Xoxo – Very nice, but for me, it leans a bit too much towards the pink side. Lovely – Probably best suited for a slightly darker skin tone, as it leans more towards brown. If I really want to enhance my lips, I usually outline with this shade like a lip liner. Adore – Perfect shade for me! A subtle coral tone that enhances the lips without being too much. My favorite so far! Before, I used to rely heavily on lip liners and colored lip glosses, but I found it annoying to have to reapply throughout the day. That's why I'm so incredibly happy about how practical this is, as it doesn't require any reapplication at all. In the picture, I haven't let it sit for particularly long; for a more intense result, it can be left on longer! For best results, I recommend scrubbing the lips the night before and then following up with a really moisturizing cream. I like to use #laroche-posay Cicaplast Baume B5 or Cicaplast Lips. In the morning, I apply the product right after cleansing, then I put on my usual skincare and Cicaplast Lips. I've also tried Wonderskins Lip Activator. At first, I thought it was mainly for making it easier to remove the product, and I thought a wet wipe or damp cotton pad would do the same job. Wrong color for me, but otherwise satisfied!
My first ever lipstain and I think it worked really well! It was easy to use and you could see the color come through really quickly after application. Not at all as expected
I honestly feel scammed, unfortunately. The color only lasts a few hours on the lips, not at all as expected. I was expecting more because of the hype
Hmmm. I admit I’m "underwhelmed". I was expecting much more from this product since it’s one of the first and most viral lip stain products. Maybe I could have waited longer, or doubled the amount, to get a stronger result. Very nice color and great result, but the color unfortunately only lasted a little over 1 hour and also became very dry, so I had to use moisture over it. How to use:
Start with clean, dry lips. If needed, exfoliate your lips first with WONDER BLADING 3-in-1 Lip Scrub to remove any dry patches.
Step 1: Apply WONDER BLADING Lip Mask to your lips. Apply 2-3 layers to completely cover your lips, ensuring no natural skin is visible. (The bluish-purple mask is not the final shade.) For a soft color, let the mask sit on your lips for at least 10-15 seconds. For a more intense shade, leave the color on for 30-45 seconds with each application.
Step 2: After waiting a few seconds, start from each corner of your mouth. At this stage, it's essential not to stretch your lips as the mask will crack and won't come off uniformly. Use a damp cloth to remove the lip mask or any remaining pieces.
Protip!
* You can intensify the color by repeating the application process. Before you reapply, ensure your lips are completely dry.
* If you want a glossy finish on your lips, add Wonder Blading lip gloss, or if desired, outline your lips or use any other lip product you prefer. WONDER BLADING does not fade or smudge when layered with other lip products.
* Remove WONDER BLADING from your lips with an oil-based facial cleanser or an oil-based makeup remover designed for waterproof cosmetics.
* Avoid stretching your lips during the process, as the mask may crack, making removal more challenging.
