    Delicious cool color!

I had up to three shades of blonde in my hair - cool regrowth, yellowish in the middle, and bleached light at the ends. This toner melted the colors together into a beautiful cool tone. Looks like a light cool bronde.

I started by covering all the yellow in the middle. Then I went over the roots before I just dragged the product down to the ends. Every time my hair needs a refresh, I use that method and it works great!

The result did not meet my expectations.

My hair was light in some areas and yellowish and orange, the product did not color my hair evenly, in some places it is completely gray, in some a little lighter, and in some sections it didn't take at all, so now I have multicolored hair and I don't know what to do because I don't want my hair to die anymore.

Hi Isabella, Thank you for your message, and I'm sorry to hear that the result didn't meet your expectations 💕 The outcome of the coloring always depends a lot on the starting condition of the hair, and if there are several different shades at the base, the color adherence and final shade can vary. You might want to try removing the pigments from the coloring with this product: lyko.com/sv/malibu-c/malibu-c-un-do-gooshampoo-266ml?fromsearch=undo+goo If the goal is an even light shade, it may be necessary to do an additional lightening due to the different pigments in the starting condition. However, I strongly recommend consulting a hairdresser to achieve the best possible result without unnecessary stress on your hair 🙏🏻🩷

    Pretty okay

It toned down the yellow well, but the hair tended to get a greenish tint. It might be that my starting point was a bit off. The greenish tone evened out after a couple of washes with purple shampoo and then the color looked nice. It's been a week and a half since I dyed it and I think it's already quite washed out. Not a product I will buy again, but it worked okay to get rid of the worst of the yellow. #lykoreview

The worst toning product I've tested

See the pictures. There is 15 minutes between before and after. Let it work for 10 minutes. Didn't think it could get worse but it definitely got yellower. Completely hopeless.

Hi 😊 Thank you for sharing your experience, I understand that it can feel frustrating when the result is not as expected 💗 The result of a toning can be influenced by the hair’s starting point, previous treatments, and hair quality. If you want help finding a solution or getting personal recommendations, you are warmly welcome to contact our hairdressers at frisoren@lyko.com, and they can give you tailored advice for your specific hair 💖 Have a wonderful day! 🌷

    Realistic

Since it has 0 lift and is semi-permanent, it will not lighten the hair, it needs to be between level 9-10 blonde for it to have a "good" effect. Tested both pearly boost and platinum ice. Pearly boost: the roots that were level (yellow) 8-9 became a light beige brown with a super light pink tone. The rest of the hair, which is level 9-10, became beige blonde/silver blonde. Platinum ice: somewhat more gray result instead of beige blonde. Neither of them is particularly intense but good if you want a mild touch up without damaging the hair.

    Which one of them

Hi, I see that there are now two different colors in this tint. What is the actual difference? Best regards

Hi Margareta! There are two shades of the same toner. Platinum Ice gives a cool, icy result and mostly tones down yellow/orange hues. While 02 Pearly Boost also neutralizes yellow/orange but gives a softer, pearly/neutral blonde tone instead of super cool. Both are ammonia-free, work in about 5 minutes, and last up to around 4 weeks. Good luck with your choice! 💃🏽

    Quite an unexpected result

Quite an unexpected result, even though I followed the instructions. Maybe it slightly toned down the yellowness. My hair is naturally curly and has a dry hair type.

When will this be back in stock?

I've been interested in this for a while now, it's very hyped on TikTok and I was thinking of trying it for my bleached, almost yellow hair. And I need this pretty soon, if it doesn't come back in stock soon, I'll buy it from somewhere else❤️🥰🫶🏻

    DO NOT BUY

Not satisfied at all, my hair became grayer than a 100-year-old man's in three minutes. Really do not buy, there are much better alternatives. (if you don't want to age 70 years in three minutes)

Hey Evelina 🩶 Oh, it sounds like Platinum Ice really delivered on the 100-year gray front already after 3 minutes 😅 It is very cool in tone, so even a short time can give really gray shades on light hair. If you want to tone without going "super gray", you can try letting it sit even shorter, or choose a slightly warmer shade next time. That way, it will be easier to get the perfect tone ✨ Have a nice day 🌺

    Growth

Does this product work on root growth? I have light lengths but a darker root and I'm wondering if this can help soften the transition.

Hey hey Nellie ✨ This is a toner and not a bleach, so it won't be able to lighten your hair enough to create a nice transition 💗 It’s a bit tricky with hair colors and shades, so I recommend that you do our hair color test via the LYKO app 😍👌 There you will get tailored feedback on how to proceed and which products to use, to achieve the shade you dream of! The ones helping you are trained hairdressers and hair experts! ✌ You can find the test via the link: lyko.com/sv/beauty-scan2 Good luck! 🍀
