Not up to expectations
For me, the blades were too dull, had to go over multiple times and even then it wasn't a good result for me. A lot of "soap" around too which didn't make it any better. I have used Estrid for many years and really loved it. However, it was really time to replace my old razor now, as it was well used and starting to look a bit worn out. I previously had it in a lavender color, but this one in ยซGuavaยป looks so nice in the shower, even though Iโm not really that fond of pink ๐ I love that it comes with a hook so that it can hang in a fixed place in the shower. It does have a tendency to fall down maybe once a month, so it might be smart to wipe the wall with antibacterial wipes or something else that contains alcohol, then it stays better. The razor fits nicely in the hand and glides easily over the skin, both with and without shaving foam. Itโs easy to change the blades. I know many have criticized Estrid after switching razor blades and that many experience irritation and bumps with the new blades. I donโt have experience with that myself, I think these blades are just as good as the previous ones, and after testing a number of other razors, I will now continue to be loyal to Estrid. I was a big fan of the old Estrid blades, and after seeing very mixed reviews about the new ones, I haven't tried them until now. Surprisingly, I haven't reacted to them, and they work fine for what they're supposed to do: shave unwanted hair. I haven't dared to try in the intimate area for fear of irritation. It's a heavy razor, but unlike many others, I like that it is. I feel it makes it maybe cut better and that I have more control. It's also easy to use in slightly challenging areas, where I tend to cut myself with other razors. You feel SMOOOTH after use. Big plus for the razor looking nice with a fresh color. But that "shower hanger" they could really just drop, because if you use it, it falls to the floor in the middle of the night and you think someone has broken in.. ๐ค It's a perfectly fine razor that does what it's supposed to, but I can't shake the thought that it would have been even better with the old blades ;) #lykoinflutester #estridTranslated from norwegian

Surprisingly good
As many have already complained, the razor is surprisingly heavy, but you get used to it, and later in use, I realized that it is even more comfortable in my hand, shaving is smoother and more precise. The razor handle sticks well to the wall. Blades stay usable longer than with other razors I have. The soap is not really to my taste, too much around the blades. Blades may come loose during use if I'm in a weird position trying to shave a tricky spot, but that's rare and it hasn't bothered me. Doesn't hold
The blade falls off and it's hard to get it back without cutting yourself since it gets so sticky from it. It's the only razor I've managed to cut myself with, also on my leg. The holder on the wall keeps falling down, so mine now has several damages. Unfortunately, I won't be buying again.
