A saving angel between hair washes
Maria Nila's Cleansing Powder is truly a game changer in the dry shampoo game🤩 I get oily hair quickly, and I can get oily hair the same day I wash it. But with this powder, it lasts several days between each hair wash! 🧚♀️The trick is to apply the powder on the same day you wash your hair, on dry hair. This prevents oily hair extremely well! I also use it to freshen up my hair in between, until hair wash day👩🦰 🧚♀️It's genius to use it with a bit of saltwater spray at the front of the hair to "hold a bit" of the volume the powder gives, as well as more structure. ✅Smells good ❌ The only negative about the product is that it can be a bit tricky to apply since the holes are a bit clumsily placed. Too much product can come out if you pour too fast. If you have darker hair, it can turn white in the hair if too much product is in one spot. Solution: • Pour a little powder into the lid and use a clean makeup brush to blend the powder in place, where your hair gets oily the fastest. What I think is best: • Hold the container about 20cm away from the application spot and gently shake the product into the hair, then the powder distributes more evenly with more distance. This way, you avoid getting a bunch of powder in one spot. Oily scalp
I often get an oily scalp every morning, even though I also use a sleep cap. But would it work to apply powder to the scalp? How should one do it? I love most products from Maria Nila. This one isn't necessarily an exception, but it wasn't a favorite of mine. You can definitely feel that you have product in your hair and there was some flaking from the scalp after use. Difficult Application
I really like how this feels in my hair! It doesn't get sticky or dry like I feel many other dry shampoos do in my hair. Very economical to use as well. On the other hand, it is a bit clumsy to use.
