Not for my hair
My hair: fine, thin, straight, damaged I should say that I've never gotten curls or significant volume from such blow-dry hair brushes, but there wasn't even a hint of volume here. I'm not sure what it is that causes it, but one of the reasons is probably that the brush is way too large in diameter. It definitely gets very hot, there's smoke coming from the freshly washed hair. It also makes a lot of noise, so it gets quite tiring in the long run. I have thick and very much hair. Usually, it takes me about 45 minutes to dry my hair with a regular hairdryer, but with this one it took me 14 minutes, and it looks great. Very satisfied. I have the frizziest hair you can imagine. I've been using a straightener for many years. Wanted to take the chance to try this, and it works!! Doesn't give volume or curls
You get what you pay for. Totally okay for creating volume quickly. Since the brush is so big, you can quickly go through all the hair in larger sections. It gets quite warm and can be used on fairly wet hair like a hair dryer. But you can't finesse and create curls. Quite clumsy and makes a lot of noise. Overall, I'm still satisfied considering the price. I have straight, medium-length, and normally thick hair. How to Use
Start with towel-dried hair and section it using a detangling brush. Then take your Big Blowout Heat Brush and work slowly from the roots to the tips until the hair is dry and even.
