I got to test this leave-in conditioner from #redken. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) This is the leave-in conditioner from Redken's popular bond building product line. My experience: The scent is very masculine and lingers for a long time.. I don't like smelling like a man, so that's a big minus. But if you overlook the scent, it's a good, creamy leave-in conditioner that also protects the hair when blow-drying (if you're going to straighten or curl your hair, you'll probably need a separate heat protectant). The silicones make the hair soft, easy to comb, and give it a healthy, shiny look. Is it worth your money? Well.. more worth it than the shampoo, but still expensive. You can find better, cheaper alternatives. A cheaper bond building alternative is L'Oréal's bond building line.. they have the same owner and similar ingredient lists. But if you really want to try something from Redken's bond building line, I think it's enough to use either the pre-shampoo treatment, the conditioner, or the leave-in conditioner. You definitely don't need all four products. #redken #redkenacidicbondingconcentrate #leaveinconditioner #lykoreview54693 views - The post was made 19 hoursRating: 5 out of 5
The Favorite
Rescue for bleached hair: My honest review As someone who recently went through the tough process of lightening my naturally dark hair, I really noticed the wear and tear. My hair became extremely dry, brittle, and hard to manage, but after testing this routine for three weeks, the difference is noticeable. My hair feels silky soft and shiny after each use. A bit like shampoo and conditioner
Like the rest of this series, unfortunately it didn’t suit my hair. I have a bit of frizz/curls in somewhat dry hair. But this product unfortunately made my hair quite greasy. Again, I don’t think the product smells exactly like something I’m a fan of. You only need a very small dash of this product for it to cover the whole hair☺️ Many thanks to Smartson for the opportunity to test this product!62 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 3 out of 5
Small amount of product for my hair
I only needed a small pea-sized amount of this product because my hair looked greasy if I used more. But it gave a lot of moisture and care to the hair with moderate use. The advantage is that I have it for a long time. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product free of charge.69 views - The post was made 4 daysRating: 5 out of 5
Saves dry and damaged lengths
I actually think the leave-in product in the Acidic Bonding series is my favorite. I noticed a difference already after the first use – my hair became much softer, smoother, and looked healthier right away. I have quite damaged and dry hair after bleaching and heat styling, and this makes the hair feel stronger without becoming heavy or greasy. I use it on towel-dried hair after showering, and it helps incredibly much against frizz and dry ends. The hair becomes easier to comb through, gains lots of shine, and looks much more “fresh.” A big plus is also that it protects against heat, which is perfect if you often use a hairdryer or straightener. Together with the shampoo and conditioner in the same series, I actually feel that my hair has become less damaged and much softer over time. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the money since you need very little product each time. Especially suitable for bleached, colored, or damaged hair that needs extra care and strength. Lovely for damaged hair
Perfect for my hair, which is very damaged from bleaching. The scent is like you just came from the hairdresser, and I recommend it. After testing for a few weeks, I have found a new favorite. Super good!
I have now tested this after-treatment for a few weeks in combination with the shampoo and conditioner from the same series, and I would say this became a favorite. Easy to work into the hair, the result is good whether you air dry or use a blow dryer, and the hair looks shiny and healthy without frizz! My favorite product for flat iron
This is my favorite product from the series. I use it before I straighten, and my hair looks much smoother, shinier, and less frizzy. I like that it protects against heat, and my hair looks healthier even after using the flat iron. The only downside is that if I use too much product, it can make the lengths a bit heavier or greasy. But with a small amount, the result is very nice, and the hair looks like after a salon.186 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5
Leaves a smooth feeling
My hair, which usually becomes a big dread and takes forever to brush, is now like normal hair. In combination with this, I have also started using hair clips instead of hair ties, so that probably also contributes a lot to my new tangle-free mane. Really recommend Redken to everyone who has lost hope in their hair. Fantastic care for damaged and dry hair.
After testing the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate series for two weeks, I am truly impressed with the results. I used the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment together. My first impression was that the products have an incredibly nice and luxurious texture, and the scent is fresh without being overpowering. My hair feels noticeably stronger and much more manageable. What used to be dry and frizzy (especially at the ends) now appears shiny and silky soft. The leave-in treatment in particular makes a huge difference. It really feels like a professional salon treatment at home in the shower. I highly recommend this series to anyone struggling with chemically damaged hair. A dream for thick and damaged hair
So! This time I tested this series on behalf of Smartson - but it’s not the first time I’ve tried it. Over the past few years, I’ve tried various series to find out what suits my hair best, but after using the Redken Acidic products again, I’m sure I’m done trying other things. I feel like this series gives me the feeling that I’ve been to the hairdresser after every single wash, both in terms of scent and feel. My hair has never felt better✨ The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product free of charge.146 views
