Mild & Moisturizing Day Cream! ๐
I have as #influtester used these 3 products for about 3 weeks. So far, I am really satisfied! I have seen a lot of positive things about this brand. Therefore, it feels extra fun to test this trio. Fantastic & effective products. Fit perfectly together ๐ My skin type: I have combination skin. Oily T-zones. Acne-prone & dry skin. Convenient, nice & light packaging. Love the pump. Good size. Perfect for sensitive skin. My skin has already improved from this trio. Not as dry. Redness has been reduced. Contains organic ingredients such as e.g. Oat extract, Shea butter, Jojoba oil & Elderflower extract. Swedish produced. Looking forward to continuing to use these 3 products. ๐ I apply a small amount of the day cream to my face & neck every morning. After cleansing. One pump is enough. Absorbs quickly. I received this product from Lyko, namely from Estelle & Thild. #lykoinflutester #estelleochthild A little quick about my skin type๐ซถ๐ป: I would like to say that I have dry skin type, especially often chapped/cracked lips, I also tend to be dry around the eyes (eyelids and under the eyes)๐๐ป Quite sensitive skin, can react to certain stronger ingredients.๐งช Prone to both acne and eczema (therefore I have some acne scars here and there).๐ฅฒ I was very excited about this product as the 3 products I received are/should be "Fragrance-Free and Allergy tested" and have a formula that is organic and vegan!โจ๐ฑ However, it turned out that I was allergic to something in these products.. especially the night cream. ๐ I got red rashes all over my face (as mentioned especially from the night cream) ๐ The skin tightened ๐ The skin became very warm in the areas where I applied the product. All products, Soothing Day Cream, Eye Balm, and Nourishing Night Cream gave me the effect of tight skin and warmth in the areas where I applied the products, it was mostly the night cream that gave me some sort of allergic reaction.๐ฅ Unfortunately, I have not been able to understand why the night cream specifically caused such a reaction, as all products seem to have roughly the same ingredient list... just different amounts of different things..๐ฅฒ The differences I could find between the night cream, day cream, and eye cream were this: In the night cream: Glyceryl stearateโ , Tribeheninโ , Prunus amygdalus dulcisโ. In the day cream: Glyceryl stearateโ, Tribeheninโ, Prunus amygdalus dulcisโ. In the eye cream: Glyceryl stearateโ , Tribeheninโ, Prunus amygdalus dulcisโ . Smooth but not too smooth ๐
This day cream is a good alternative for those with sensitive skin who need a mild and moisturizing care in their daily routine. With good ingredients like jojoba oil, which I really like. It has a light and pleasant consistency, and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. But I almost feel like itโs a bit tired on the skin and I wish it provided even more moisture. That said, this is not a cream that stands out particularly. It does the job it promises, moisturizes and protects, but without giving any "wow" effect for me. Moisturizing
The cream is thick and provides a lot of moisture, which is perhaps better in the winter months when my skin is drier. On my combination skin, however, it feels a bit heavy in the summer months and it doesn't fully absorb. Best suited for those who want extra care and do not tend to have oily skin. I have to start by admitting that I don't have a fixed skincare routine but take care of my skin a bit more sporadically, depending on time, energy, and needs. My skin is normal to oily but sometimes has dry patches. I appreciate products that are easy to use, feel nice on the skin, and preferably provide a noticeable effect without too much hassle. Recently, I have been testing this day cream from #lykoinflutester in my capacity as #estellethild. The day cream absorbs quickly into the skin. After application, the skin feels just like before. I haven't tested it under makeup, but I feel confident that there wouldn't be any issues since it absorbs so quickly. One detail is that the day and night creams have almost identical packaging, which makes it hard to tell them apart, especially since I obviously don't wear glasses when I wash and apply cream to my face. Pretty Ordinary Product
My skin type: combination with rosacea. I have tested this product over a period of time. The cream has a very light and mild consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky. It works well for sensitive skin, had no negative reactions after use. Still, I experienced no noticeable difference in my skin after some time โ neither in moisture, skin texture, nor firmness. It gave a matte finish and no glow. For me, this became an okay, but pretty ordinary product that didn't quite live up to expectations. I probably won't continue using the product as it doesn't meet my preferences, but it should work fine for someone who wants a light day cream without active ingredients. Better in cold weather!
I have tested the Estelle & Thild Soothing Moisture Day Cream for about four weeks, along with the night and eye cream from the same series, and the experience has been moderately positive. The cream feels like a thick layer on the skin, which reminds me of the cold cream my mom used to smear on my face when I was little. This can be pleasant in cooler weather, but when itโs warm and humid, it feels like the cream mixes with sweat and runs off the skin. On the positive side, the cream has a neutral scent, which I appreciate, and it has provided my skin with even moisture. I havenโt experienced dry or oily patches, and my skin has remained balanced throughout the testing period. It works well as a daily moisturizer for normal to dry skin, but I wish it absorbed a bit better into the skin. A mild and light day cream that gives a soothing feeling on the skin. It works well for sensitive skin and feels fresh upon application. But on my skin, unfortunately, it doesn't fully absorb and leaves a slightly sticky surface. Perfect for you if you like moisturizers with a bit more "glow", but not quite ideal for me personally. The formula contains jojoba oil, which provides nourishment and helps the skin retain moisture. On days when I didn't wear makeup, I could easily use the cream. Sad that there is no sunscreen in the day cream
I have been able to test this product as #lykoinflutester for a few weeks, and I can say that the packaging on this is very sleek and nice! I have normal to oily skin and find this to be a good moisturizer. I don't have sensitive skin, so I can use most things. This cream didn't do any direct miracles, but it was a perfectly okay moisturizer. Since I have a lot of hyperpigmentation, I usually use sunscreen as my day cream, so it's a bit of a shame that there wasn't any type of sunscreen in the day creamโ๏ธ But overall, it worked well, and I like that the line is fragrance-free and organic.
