Love at first sight (smell)!! 😍
It was really a super fun task I got this time. At the same time, I was a bit skeptical. DKNY's three new perfumes looked playful, and I thought they would suit a younger target group (I am 46 years old). Meeen how wrong I was! As I said, the title speaks for itself, right? And yes! It was love at first smell. I tried it three days ago, and already then I felt that I could have written a review and given it five stars. 🤩 So, it is a completely fantastic perfume (body mist)! Exactly the type of scent that I love. 🥰 However, I can't say that I've had any before that has been so similar to this one. It is light & fresh. Personally, I feel that I have a hard time describing scents, so I had to check the product description first. It is described as the first scents being peach sorbet and grapefruit tonic. And I can really feel the citrus scent well, with a twist of sweetness. So there the scent is just as it is described. The next scent notes are peony and freesia and finally sandalwood. I feel a little hint of something that I would describe as masculine. I guess it is sandalwood? But the sandalwood scent is not something you feel very well, and that would give the perfume a totally masculine feel. I would probably describe that I feel a bit of vanilla scent. But that is not something that is mentioned in the product description. The sweetness from the ordinary and its scent, might come from peach sorbet, peony, and freesia? Anyway, this is a surprisingly, fantastically pleasant scent, that is light and fresh. And became a whole new favorite of mine. When I wear this, I can hardly stop smelling myself. I really love the scent!! 🤩🥰 The only thing that is actually less good is that it is a body mist. The perfume concentration is not that high, so you have to reapply often if you want to smell it. A real summer refresher!
This mist is truly summer in a bottle. I fell in love with the scent the first time I tried it, and since then it has permanently lived in my backpack that I use for work. Yes, it unfortunately won't fit in a handbag unless you have a big one and are ready for a bit of weight. It is still a solid bottle of 250 ml. So for me, it won't fit for travel. As I said, I have it at work. So I take it with me, considering that after a few hours you need to freshen up the scent a bit or hide the sweat smell. I would say it works optimally, but they might actually have been better off asking the colleagues about that. Unfortunately, I get a good feeling when I use it since it smells so good, but one spray is definitely enough as it smells quite strong at first. So I have to learn to control myself a bit. I am a real sucker for citrus scents, which makes this a clear favorite. But I am definitely curious about the other scents in this Ica Pop series (Berry Bliss and Very Cherry) that might suit the fall and winter season better. It would definitely have gotten full points if the bottle were smaller (of course also a lower price then) so you could take it on the go. Smells so good 💛🍋
I had the honor of being a Lykoinflutester and testing DKNY Be Delicious Ice Pop in Citrus Splash - Bodymist, and it’s already a big favorite of mine ❤️ I love sweet scents, but citrus fruits are definitely not bad, especially lemon 🍋, and this mist is perfect 💛. I experience that the first scent is a bit of pineapple and peach and lemon, it’s so fresh 👌. There’s also a scent of Peony and Freesia, which I think fits so well in this mist. Sandalwood is felt at the end, and I really like that. 👌❤️ I, who have tested, am a woman of age who has just started to appreciate perfumes more, which is exciting. Now I want to test more mists in this series 😍. It’s absolutely worth investing in since it will last longer, the packaging is big, the mist is good. Fresh and Uplifting Favorite!
I really love this body mist! ✨ The scent is super fresh and instantly gives a summer vibe with its citrus freshness mixed with a little sweetness from peach. It feels light and uplifting, perfect for both everyday use and on summer days when you want to smell fresh but not too heavy. On me, it lasts about 2-3 hours, but since it's a body mist, I think that's totally okay, you just spray it on again during the day. I also like to spray it in my hair to get a little extra fresh feeling and let the scent linger longer. It also works really well to spray around the home if you want to freshen up the room quickly, almost like a lovely summer scent in the air. I also let a friend try it, and she fell in love immediately! ✨ The bottle is also so pretty and fun, it almost looks like a popsicle and looks nice on the shelf.
