Not quite top-notch
I had very high expectations for this product because wow - look at those beautiful colors 😍 The joy was short-lived, because on first use the entire one color fell out of the palette and into the sink. Fun 🤠 The colors look super nice but are very lightly pigmented. I tried for a long time to make a liner with the darkest one, but as you can see in the picture, it didn’t get very dark. Luckily, I’m not a big fan of heavy eyeshadow, so the others worked perfectly to just get a little shimmer on the eyes. The texture feels like a mix between powder and cream, so that’s probably why the pigment is a bit weak. Probably also why it didn’t break in the sink - but just like a sponge? 🧽 The quality is therefore not much to brag about - but right for a good price! Decent product – but the packaging..
I’ve tested this product and have mixed feelings. It really is butter melt! I thought the product was a bit firmer, so at first application I applied too much pressure on my lips, and it just got messy and way too much product 🤠 So apply carefully! It’s a bit like a lip gloss in a lipstick packaging. The product feels soft on the lips and gives a slight tingling sensation. It’s quite pigmented and gives a nice color 💕 However, it doesn’t last very long, and after a while the lips are completely dry again. That’s a bit of a downside. Furthermore, the packaging is what bothers me the most. I can twist the stick up, but not back down. And since I twisted it up quite a bit the first time, I had a problem when trying to put the cap back on and couldn’t twist the product down again… But I guess that’s what you get for the price. The whole packaging feels cheap. Quality over quantity here! It was more mess and chaos than me appreciating the product itself. The comment was made 6 daysHi Victoria! 👋🏼😊 Thank you so much for your feedback 💕 This type of balm is very soft and melts easily on the lips, which can cause a bit more product to come out than expected the first time 🤗 Try twisting it up only 1–2 mm, hold the ball against your lips for a second to warm it up, and apply with light pressure in thin layers (or use a brush) to avoid stickiness — outline with a lip liner or apply a thin layer of lipstick underneath for longer wear, and apply some balm if your lips feel drier. Lovely crayon!
I have tested this lip crayon, and I think I’ve found a new favorite in my lip collection! I love a good liner that’s easy to use and gives a nice color to the overall face, and this one hits the mark! It applies seamlessly, is easy to work with, and has beautiful pigment. I think I’ll try more colors of this one 🍒⭐️ Very good price, and it lasts a long time! What brings it down a bit is that it doesn’t last very long. Super nice glow!
I have tested this sunscreen as #lykoinflutester #vichy 🧡 I am sooooo happy! I’m quite picky about sunscreen – it must not smell chemical, not be sticky, absorb quickly into the skin, and not repel makeup. This one checks all the boxes! The scent is perfumed, but I think it smells very nice and summery. The cream is very fluid and absorbs quickly into the skin. It feels a bit like silk! No reason not to use SPF 50 when it’s this easy. It’s so important to protect your face in the sun to prevent wrinkles and fine lines✨ I also think the pump is very practical to bring along to avoid spills. Easy to spread and only get the amount of product you need ☀️ Perfect now in the Easter sun! I have used this every day since I received it and will definitely repurchase. Truly a new favorite! Moisturizing - but very strong scent!
I have now tested Kevin Murphy's Everlasting Colour shampoo and conditioner over a few weeks. I am very dissatisfied with the shampoo, but I can speak more highly of the conditioner, even though it isn't a home run either. For reference, I have normally colored hair that is now dyed to get rid of previous bleaching. First of all, I find the packaging a bit difficult - the bottle is very hard and it's hard to get the product out of it. There is also a lot of product left in the bottle that you can't get out when it's "empty". The scent is nothing to brag about either. It is very strong and reminds me of an overly concentrated men's perfume. Beyond that, I find the conditioner rich in consistency and easy to work into the hair. The hair feels immediately softer and gets a healthy shine. However, I find that I have to use quite a bit of product to achieve the desired result. The hair is easy to comb through after washing and is free from frizz and dryness. An okay conditioner for me. All in all, this is not a conditioner I will buy again. Gives me nothing but clean hair
I have now tested Kevin Murphy's Everlasting Colour shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks, and I must say I am disappointed. The product promises to provide nourishment and moisture, but I do not experience that. For reference, I normally have hair that is now colored to get rid of previous bleaching. First of all, I find the packaging a bit difficult - the bottle is very hard, and it is hard to get the product out of it. There is also a lot of product left in the bottle that you can't get out when it is "empty". The scent is also nothing to brag about. It is very strong and reminds me of an overly concentrated men's perfume. The shampoo lathers well and removes dirt, so the hair feels clean afterward. However, I find my hair harder to comb and more tangled after washing than with my usual shampoos. Whether the product holds what it promises regarding color retention is a bit hard to say; I haven't noticed anything about this. All in all, this is not a shampoo I will buy again. My hair feels way too dry and is hard to work with. Silky soft hair!
This hair mask is just what I need! I have quite straight and smooth hair, but it is affected by bleaching that I'm trying to get rid of. A good hydrating mask is exactly what my hair needs to rebuild and grow! I use this between shampoo and conditioner, and let it work for anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour. I feel it's luxurious to have it in for a little extra time and let it really set in the hair. It says to massage the hair mask into the scalp, but I haven't done that as I get oily hair very quickly, so I took no chances. The consistency is thick and rich, but still easy to distribute in the hair. The scent is what brings it down for me, as it feels very strong and concentrated. The price is also a bit steep, as you have to use quite a bit of product, especially if you have longer hair like me. A big plus, however, is the packaging - I really prefer a pump over a jar! At the same time, it’s hard to get out all the last drops, so that might be a matter of taste. It’s super easy to rinse out, and the hair is a dream to brush out afterwards! New favorite!
My go-to has been Lumene's CC cream for many years now, so I was mildly ecstatic to try this foundation with a bit more coverage! ✨ I think it has an incredibly nice coverage, a bit more than the CC cream, but still not too heavy. It also blends beautifully on the skin! I picked a shade that is a bit too dark for me right now (winter pale☃️), but this will be perfect for me after a round of self-tan or closer to spring! The product is very easy to distribute and get even, with a brush it’s really a breeze! The skin tone evens out and I get a nice glow. It doesn’t interfere with my skincare routine either. New favorite for me 😍 The only downside for me is the packaging. The tube is impractical, and when it starts to run out, I can imagine losing a lot of product inside the hard packaging.
