Did not work for me
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test #theordinary's essence. After a dead month of testing, I unfortunately find that this was not a product for me. My skin is combination to dry. It is not sensitive. The bottle itself has a sleek expression, and it is made of glass, which gives an impression of being a bit exclusive. The product is runny like water, and the pouring mechanism adjusts the amount you get out somewhat, but I think a lot of product is wasted when applying. After using this for a week (applied before serum and cream), I felt my skin seemed stiff and a bit dry from the water. It sat on my skin like a mask, and I did not experience that it provided the nourishing and moisturizing effect that several others rave about here, unfortunately. This did not quite suit me.Translated from norwegian

We really appreciate feedback – both positive and constructive – as it helps both us and other customers find products that suit their skin type and needs. It's a shame to hear that the essence from The Ordinary didn't work optimally for you, especially since you have combination to dry skin. We understand that it's frustrating when a product doesn't live up to expectations, especially when it comes to moisture and comfort. Thanks again for your thorough and helpful feedback – we hope the next test product will be a hit for you! 💜

A pretty okay serum
I have tested this serum from #TheOrdinary now for a little month. The impression I’m left with is that it’s a nice serum, but I didn’t experience any major changes in my skin. My skin is combination to dry. But not sensitive. The packaging of the serum is sleek, classic, and pretty, and the glass bottle gives it a slightly more exclusive experience. The dosing pipette is super and makes dosing and application easy. The product itself is light and liquid. It absorbs well into the skin and leaves a nice glow that lasts most of the day. I didn’t notice any major change over time with use, but I think the result it gave for the day was nice. # lykoinflutesterTranslated from norwegian

Pretty okay serum
I have tested this product from #theordinary as a #lykoinflutester. After about a month of use, I don't feel like I notice any big difference on my skin. But it has held up nicely. I have combination to dry skin, which is not very sensitive. A little extra moisture is therefore always welcome. The serum has, like the rest of The Ordinary's products, a sleek and nice appearance, and the glass bottle gives a nice expression. The product itself has a thick and slightly gel-like consistency. It is easy to apply, and the pipette makes dosing easy. But it takes a bit of time to absorb into the skin, and it doesn't fully sink in either. Furthermore, I noticed that it flaked off under makeup, so it became a no-go for me to use this during the day. So I used the serum every night before my night cream. I feel that my skin was pretty much the same from start to finish, but it definitely didn't become more hydrated.Translated from norwegian

Super and Moisturizing
I have tested this hair mask from #nioxin as a #lykoinflutester and loved it! My hair is typically Nordic, with fine hair strands. It is bleached at the ends and naturally colored from under the ear and up. It quickly becomes dry at the ends and can get oily at the top with the wrong products. I have no issues with hair loss but lose hair like everyone else in periods. I like simple routines with few quality products that work. The mask should be used from the middle of the hair and down, which suited me and my hair perfectly! Since the shampoo I used from Nioxin dried my hair out quite a bit, I desperately needed something that provided moisture. The rescue was this hair mask!! It is economical in use and very easy to apply, it has a very light scent and is fresh in appearance. My hair became shiny and felt healthy after the first round, without the treatment weighing it down. I am very satisfied with this mask and will definitely use it again. It suited my Nordic hair very well! Note! I am very careful to rinse out products like this precisely because I know that my hair can quickly become weighed down. So it could be that this was part of the key to success here 🤗Translated from norwegian

Not quite impressed
I have tested this serum from #nioxin as a #lykoinflutester and I don't really have any strong opinions. It's a nice serum, but I didn't experience any change, so it's not a product I want to continue with. My hair is typically Nordic, with fine hair strands. It's bleached at the ends and naturally colored from under the ear and up. It gets dry quickly at the ends and can get greasy at the top with the wrong products. I have no issues with hair loss, but I lose hair like everyone else in periods. The serum is light, spreads well, and has a faint but fresh scent. Something that is great. I didn't find that it weighed my hair down, which is especially important for me. But the serum also didn't provide any impressive results; I'm still unsure if it provided results at all. So aside from being okay in terms of application, it didn't give me or my hair anything. I'm not impressed, but the product itself didn't cause irritation, so that's good. For me, this is not a product I will continue to use.Translated from norwegian

Not revolutionary but totally okay 😊

I like simple routines with few quality products that work, so I'm basically skeptical about whether I want a night serum in addition to my usual products😅 The serum is light and very liquid, I felt a bit like I was massaging water into my scalp. After using it consistently for a month, I see little to no effect. So the question arises, have I been massaging water into my scalp for the tidy price of 600kr? I'm not impressed, but the product itself didn't cause irritation, so that's good. For me, this is a step in hair care that I won't continue with.Translated from norwegian

Did not quite meet expectations
I have tested this kit from #nioxin as a #lykoinflutester and overall I am not completely satisfied. The shampoo is a perfectly okay regular shampoo, the conditioner doesn't quite do the job, and the spray is very strong without me seeing any significant results. My hair is typically Nordic, with fine hair strands. It is bleached at the ends and naturally colored from under the ear and up. It quickly becomes dry at the ends and can get greasy at the top with the wrong products. I have no issues with hair loss but lose hair like everyone else in periods. This kit contains shampoo, conditioner, and a spray. The shampoo smells clean and fresh, which is perfect for someone who prefers discreet fresh scents. It is easy to massage into the scalp and lathers well, giving a nice feeling of being really clean. It is not revolutionary, and I did not notice any change in the number of hair strands that fell out during the month. It cleans well, but in return, it leaves the hair a bit dry, so here a proper hair mask or conditioner must follow. This brings us to the conditioner, which should be applied to the entire hair from scalp to ends. Something that honestly scared me a bit. But my big fear of very greasy hair fortunately did not happen 🤗 What it also did not do was to nourish the ends of the hair 😅, so with shampoo and conditioner in combination, I was left with very frizzy, dry, and tired hair. 👎🏻 I only tested the spray a couple of times but had to quickly give up as I reacted strongly to it. See picture! 👀 NB I am not sensitive and can tolerate most creams, but this spray!!! They write on the packaging that redness may occur, but when even my hands, which only got a little on them, turned completely red and peeled the next day, then there is actually something that does not belong in a product you put on yourself in my opinion. So finally, a perfectly okay shampoo, I would skip the rest of the kit. No change in hair loss during the period.Translated from norwegian

Works well, but smells strong!
I have thin Nordic hair that is a bit bleached at the ends. Before I started testing the Metal DX series from L’Oréal Professional, my hair was dry and frizzy. It needed both moisture and shine. The hair mask comes in a classic jar that looks nice. It is economical in use and easily settles in the hair. If you have thin hair like me, I recommend being careful with the amount of product and ensuring it is thoroughly rinsed out. The product is so liquid that I personally would have preferred it to be in a bottle, as that would have made adjusting the amount during application easier. As mentioned in the title, the mask works very well for my hair type. I found that it became shinier and healthier. But.. and this is a big BUT, the entire Metal DX series smells, according to my partner and several of my friends' feedback, veeeery strong!! I simply had to give up testing after a week and a half, as I felt like I was walking around smelling like a men's wardrobe. The series smells very similar to Axe body spray for men, not a scent I personally prefer to be associated with. (I received several comments on this, without anyone knowing I had these products in.) So despite good results on my hair, I can only give it two stars, as the smell became way too intense. #Lykoinflutester #LorealProTranslated from norwegian
