Cute, but too big
I bought this because I needed a puff for my Kiko powder. Unfortunately, the puff is way too big and doesn’t fit properly in most powder cases. Otherwise, the product works well and does its job. Rescue operation for the skin's protective layer
Last fall, my skin suddenly started to develop unevenness and pimples, and soon my cheeks looked like acne from years ago had returned. I have previously taken an isotretinoin course, so the thought of acne returning worried me. When I stopped to think about it, I realized that I had started using a new facial cleanser in the fall. It was very foaming and contained some skin-brightening ingredients. After washing my face, my skin always felt tight, so I suspected it was too strong for my skin. Because texture also started to appear on my skin, I began adding various active ingredients, which probably only made the situation worse. I thought that exfoliating, etc., would help with the texture that had appeared. In February, I traveled to South Korea, where I had a free skin analysis. The results showed that my skin was producing oil and breaking out because it was actually too dry. According to the analysis, my skin is not prone to acne, but the impurities on my cheeks could be treated with the right skincare. This information made me happy, and I started to change my routine. I began cleansing my face first with micellar water and switched the actual cleanser to a gentle, gel-like product designed for very dry skin. I focused especially on moisturizing and repairing the skin's protective layer. The biggest change in texture happened when I started using Mediheal's moisturizing toner pads, which I often use like a mask before serum. And even though Nivea Creme is a very thick cream, it has made my skin feel and look clearly better. Of course, there are still some scars on the skin, and it has not fully recovered, as you can see in the picture. But the direction is right. I received Valentino's new Born in Roma Donna Purple Melancholia perfume from Lyko to test. I've been testing it for about 2 weeks now. First of all, I want to praise the bottle's design! It's beautiful, and the purple hue of the perfume makes it especially striking. I also like that you can easily see how much product is left in the bottle. The scent clearly stands out from the traditional, often vanilla-based Born in Roma Donna perfumes. The top note has a strong plum, which makes the scent unique and exudes confidence. The intensity of the fragrance makes it quite seductive, and in my opinion, it suits best for evening use. Additionally, the perfume lasts long on both skin and clothes 👌 As summer approaches, I usually choose lighter scents, so this might not be my top choice for the season. The plum note wasn't my personal favorite either, but the scent develops beautifully! After about an hour, a pleasant vanilla emerges. At this stage, the scent resembles more the traditional versions of the series, which I like. This is definitely a perfume worth trying, even if it might not be to everyone's taste. Rescue Operation
I usually wouldn't put anything under a face mask other than toner or serum, but I got recommendations that the Biodance mask is a Hydrogel mask, so you can also put face cream underneath if you want a super boost for product absorption! A few months ago, my skin started to develop a lot of texture + pimples, and my skin felt tight. At first, I associated the challenges with a different climate because I was an exchange student in Japan. Eventually, I realized that my new foaming facial cleanser was way too cleansing and drying, and I was probably using too many active ingredients like exfoliating acids. Revives hair!
My hair is quite coarse in quality because A. I have curly/wavy hair B. I heat style and color my hair. I feel that this product has helped me a lot in my process to achieve healthy-looking and longer hair! I always apply the product after showering on towel-dried hair, after which I spray extra heat protection and blow-dry + style my hair. I give plus points for the fact that there is also heat protection in the conditioner itself! I still like to spray extra heat protection in my hair because I don’t want to put a creamy product close to my scalp so that my hair doesn’t get flat. And one more thing: the product smells really good to me, adds a lot of extra shine to the hair, and I’ve noticed that my hair breaks less! Of course, it should be noted that I also take care of my hair occasionally with K-18mask and my current routine includes a silk pillowcase, which may also help prevent hair breakage. Outstanding Skincare
I had never tried LED light therapy on my face before, so I was really excited to test this Stylpro mask! I have only been using the mask for about two to three weeks, so no major changes in my skin have been seen yet. However, I believe that the best results will only show after a longer period, at least a few months of regular use. The mask has four different light settings, each with its own purpose: 🦋 Blue LED: antibacterial, especially good for treating acne 🌹 Red LED: for preventing aging and stimulating collagen production 🎈 Lighter red LED: for general skin wellness and increasing vitality 🍇 Purple LED: soothes/balances the skin and promises to treat multiple skin challenges simultaneously I used the mask for about 10 minutes at a time, 3-5 times a week. I chose the light color based on my mood or my skin's needs: sometimes blue, occasionally red or purple. For example, one evening I used the blue light when I had succumbed to the temptation to pick at my pimples (I know, I shouldn't!). I believe that the calming and anti-inflammatory effect of the blue light helped, as in the morning my skin looked significantly better and there were no pimples in sight! I can say that the sporadic pimples on my face have calmed down and healed very quickly with the use of the mask. 🫶 The blue LED is also my absolute favorite because it is not too bright. When using the mask, the eyes should be kept closed, but for example, the red light was so bright that it even blinded with the eyes closed. This made me think about how good light therapy is for the eyes in the long run. The eye protection of the mask did not feel tight enough, so I give a small minus for that. It would be great if the eye protection could block the reflected light so that the mask could be used with eyes open. That would be perfect for someone like me who is impatient and active 😁 Otherwise, the mask is extremely comfortable to use. Its fit can easily be adjusted with straps, and it feels light on the face. A small word of caution though: do not use the mask in a dark room in the evening if the window is open. The bright light in a dark room attracts insects, and in my case, a fly flew under the mask during my relaxation time! 🆘😭 Despite all this, I will continue to use the mask eagerly (except in the dark) and look forward to how its effects will show on my skin over time 😍! Long-lasting frizz-free and clean
I have been able to try the Kérastase Gloss Absolu Bain Hydra-Glaze shampoo for a few weeks now, and it has proven to be an extremely effective product for my hair! My hair is naturally curly, therefore also coarse, and it frizzes easily. Additionally, my hair has been dyed with light highlights... so it really needs moisture and shine to look healthy. I immediately noticed that the shampoo lathers well and cleanses the hair effectively without weighing it down. As a result, my hair felt airy, light, and still clearly hydrated. I have especially been satisfied with how long my hair stays looking clean. The hair pictures I took for this post were taken 2 days after washing my hair, and they still look clean, and my hair has volume. It definitely feels that way too! The scent of the shampoo is pleasant: fresh and slightly floral. The bottle itself is stylish and looks luxurious. The only downside I give is the cap, which has to be completely removed. This is not always the most practical when you have wet hands, or when the cap needs to be temporarily placed somewhere. However, this does not significantly detract from the value of the user experience. Overall, an extremely high-quality shampoo that leaves the hair looking healthy and shiny without a heavy feeling. A good heat protectant is essential for my hair, as I constantly heat style it. After showering, I usually blow-dry my curly hair straight. However, just blow-drying is not enough for styling, as my hair tends to get very frizzy due to my hair type. To achieve a smooth finish, I like to finish my hair with a flat iron. For the past few weeks, I have been spraying Gloss Absolu Anti-Frizz Glaze Milk on my damp hair before blow-drying. After blow-drying, the frizz has been noticeably reduced. However, I still can't achieve the smoothness of a flat iron. So, I have added the spray to my dry hair and then straightened it. This way, I have managed to completely tame the frizz, as you can see in the picture on the right, where especially the ends look much better 🤩 Of course, I also styled the hair in the picture with the hair oil from the same line. I love this heat protectant because it doesn't leave my hair tangled or sticky, but leaves it feeling light and moisturized. In the left picture, I used a heat protectant from a different brand as well as hair serum/oil... and the difference is huge: on the left, the ends look dry, on the right, more moisturized and smooth 🫶🏻 The citrus floral scent is lovely, the bottle's closing mechanism is handy, and the product lives up to its promises. This product works best in conjunction with the same line's shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil.
