I've been thinking for a couple of days about the ElliR #ödeö challenge. A really fun idea that got my thoughts spinning 🤩 Now I still feel that I've considered my choice enough to manage with 8 products for haircare and skincare if I ever got stranded on a deserted island 🏝️ ✨ #haircare ✨ 1. Joico blond life shampoo - to deeply cleanse the hair and keep it fresh from sand and saltwater 🤞🏼 2 and 3. Xl bonding shampoo + mask - makes the hair soft and hydrated. It also feels like bonding should be a good series for the hair when it gets exposed to a lot of sun 😂 4. Waterclouds repair leave in - mainly thinking to get UV protection for the hair, but it also makes it incredibly soft and manageable that the tangles in the hair can say goodbye 👋🏼 5. Mini hair ties - love braiding and styling my hair, so I wouldn't survive a day without trying different hairstyles! 😳 ✨ #skincare ✨ 6. Banila co clean it balm - my holy grail! I go nowhere without this gem, which would also apply to a deserted island! 🙏🏼 7. Acasia super serum - as the dry person I am, I hope this will help against the weather on the island and give me the moisture bomb I need 💧💧 8. #ödeö No, but I think this was a really great idea from ElliR, and I hope many join in. If you could only take 8 products for skin and hair to a deserted island - which would they be? These are my choices, and here comes a very brief explanation for each product: Clean it zero: In my opinion, the absolute best and most pleasant cleanser ever! Melts away even the heaviest SPF WITHOUT drying out the skin. The skin feels hydrated instead of tight after cleansing 🙏 Biotherm body oil: Wonderfully moisturizing and absorbs quickly into the skin. The skin looks radiant but without the feeling of stickiness 🙏 La Roche-Posay Anthelios Uvmune 400 Anti-dark Spots Fluid SPF50+ 50 ml: Planning to get stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific (preferably French Polynesia 🙈) and not on some cold island in the Arctic, so sunscreen is a must. This will be my obvious choice since it doesn't feel like sun protection and doesn't give me bumps on my face 🙏 Nail oil, On-a-roll Apricot Nail and Cuticle Oil: Can't live without nail oil and use it pretty much every day. This one is easy to use, and the roller minimizes mess! Super 🙏 La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+: No one can have missed this magic in a tube! Always at home with me. Used on the skin to soothe, protect, soften, and treat things like dry elbows or sad feet. 🙏 Marja Entrich, Wheat Germ Oil: Love this oil - I can honestly say it's the best I've ever tried! Insanely repairing and moisturizing! Hats off!! Can also be used as a night mask! 🙏 Kiehl's Butterstick: Bye bye dry lips!! A SOS cream 🙏 Sebastian Professional, Penetraitt Mask: Okay, I’ll just skip shampoo and conditioner, but I will NOT leave my hair mask behind! In two days without snus, we manage on this island
I got an idea while writing a question inspired by Pippi to @emilia on her lovely empties. Namely: if you were stranded on a deserted island but could pack 8 things to take care of your skin and hair, what would I take with me? I realize the somewhat absurd contradiction of being stranded but still packing to be stranded. But you’ve probably realized my weakness for Disney by now, and it could have happened in a Disney movie ☺️ So back to the mission! I could manage without snus, maybe especially since I don’t use it?! 🤔😝 But if I were to get an order for a maximum of 8 things to keep my skin and hair somewhat in check during this unlikely event, this would be my choice! 🤗 It took many attempts and swaps, but I’m still quite satisfied with my choices!
