I previously dyed my hair with shade 7.23 from the same brand, but this time I wanted to go a bit darker. I prepped my hair by washing it with Maxi Wash from Kevin Murphy to remove all old pigments and residues. 🧖♀️Then I toned my hair by applying a color mask from Maria Nila in the shade “sand” for about 10 minutes. ⏲️ I do this to avoid green pigments ❌ I towel-dried my hair thoroughly and then distributed 6.23 throughout my hair. For my mid-length hair, one and a half packs (i.e., 3 bottles) is enough. I then let the color sit for 30 minutes and voilá! ⭐️ I wash my hair about 2 times a week, and at least once a week I use a color mask to keep my toning as long as possible, like Maria Nila's color mask in “cacao”. The before picture is after using 7.23, about 7 weeks after toning.
