- I received these products from Dashl some time ago in exchange for my honest opinion. I have now tested them over a longer period under various conditions. Below are my thoughts. The eyebrow gel is very durable and easy to work with. I have also tried it in my hair to get a really sleek look and to get rid of baby hairs. It works well for that too. Note that it is a small package and I have Nordic thin, fine hair in large amounts. So I still recommend primarily using it for the eyebrows. You can tint both before and after applying the gel. Personally, I would have preferred a tinted gel if I could wish for an improvement. The mascara gives a nice natural look and I love the color. For me, when it’s warm weather, it does smudge on the upper eyelids after a while. I have quite deep-set eyes, so I assume the temperature reaches 38 degrees or more and therefore dissolves the mascara, which is easy and smooth to remove. Yesterday I was out running when it started to rain, and I ran home again after just 3 km. The mascara stayed just as nice as when I put it on in the morning more than 15 hours earlier. Yep, in the past few days I have put on makeup at 4:30 AM and the run was at 7 PM. I can say I was really impressed by the lashes then and how they still held up nicely despite me not curling my lashes (never learned). The brush is perfect, just how I like them. Easy to apply the mascara, which spreads evenly over the lashes without clumping. So can I recommend these? Absolutely! Is any of them my absolute favorite? No, unfortunately not. I might buy them but don’t know yet. It’s the brush that’s great. When would I mainly use them? When I want to pretend to be a very pretty and naturally makeup-free girl. Because it doesn’t require much mascara for nice color, curl, and length. Last but not least, after this I can definitely consider buying and testing more products from Dashl.
