    Color bomb

Really does its job! Colors and adds shine to the hair after the hair dye has washed out and the hair dye looks a little "dead"

    Question

I have blonde dyed hair but want to dye it brown. I'm unsure if it suits me, so I thought I could use a color bomb. Can I use a brown color bomb, and will it fade so I get my hair back?

Hi! 😊 A brown color bomb can definitely be a good way to try a darker shade without immediately using permanent hair dye. However, we cannot guarantee that the color will completely disappear, especially since blonde and bleached hair can be more porous and therefore absorb pigment. On colored or bleached blonde hair, a brown color bomb can thus leave a certain tone even after several washes. I would therefore recommend choosing a slightly lighter brown shade and preferably testing on a small hair strand first 🤎 All the best!

    Warm brown to cool brown

Hi, I have dyed my hair brown and over time it has become very warm and almost a bit ginger in some lights. I have naturally brown hair and am now also starting to get roots that are significantly cooler than the dyed brown. Do you think it would help to use colour bomb in the shade deep chestnut to get a cooler brown? Or what do you recommend that isn’t too expensive? I have tried silver shampoo but don’t think it helps that much

Hejsan!🤎 I wouldn’t choose Colour Bomb Deep Chestnut as a first option since it mainly adds brown pigment and isn’t made to neutralize the warm/ginger tones. I would rather recommend a cooler brown color treatment, for example Evo Fabuloso Cool Brown or Revlon Nutri Color Filters 512 Pearly Ash Brown, which can help tone down the warmth. Since your roots are cooler than the colored lengths, I would mainly apply the product to the warmer areas and always do a strand test first🤎 All the best!💫

Hard and unusable when I got it

Unfortunately, I couldn't test this because it was hard and impossible to get out of the container. #lykoreview

    Colorful Highlights

I want to try coloring small parts of my hair in a colorful shade (just want to try, not have it permanently). I am a brunette and wonder if you can use color bombs to achieve, for example, red highlights in the underlayer?

Hi Elsakg! 🤗 A color bomb is only meant to preserve pigment or add shifts. In brown hair, there is no guarantee that the pigments will be able to adhere – but you can always try ❤️ All the best 🌞

    Ginger

Which of the color bombs can be used on blonde hair to get a little red/orange (ginger) hair color?

Hey Jennifer! 👋🏼😊 To get a ginger tone in blonde hair, you can use lyko.com/sv/colour-bomb/colour-bomb-farg-balsam-fire-red 🧡 My tip is to mix it with a little regular conditioner. On very light blonde hair, the color can otherwise become very strong and pull towards a really intense orange. If you start with a diluted mixture, you can more easily control the result and achieve a softer ginger tone instead. Feel free to test on a strand before applying it to the whole hair 🥰 Have a nice day 🌟

Hey Bella! 👋🏼 This color treatment contains cool pigments that neutralize any warm pigments that may come out from bleaching! Sounds like a perfect base for the blue color 👌🏼 Always test on a small strand first to see how the shade turns out. All the best! ❄️🤍

    The best red hair refresher.

I still haven't found a better color treatment that clings to my red hair like this one! For some reason, the sale of this product has been discontinued in some grocery stores (I don't understand why. 😵‍💫), but luckily Lyko saved the day. I still apply this after conditioner, it works well - the color brightens and looks immediately redder, it also clings to the new growth. All other red color treatments do not achieve a result as bright, the shade is generally more reddish-brown, so I hope the sale of this product is not completely discontinued. 🥺🩷

    Wonderful color! 😍

This is my favorite in the colourbomb category. Gives a long-lasting dark red-iasch color. The hair becomes soft and smooth! 🥰

    Feedback

Using “Light Beige” Love the shade But it doesn’t hold up after a wash. The packaging is a disaster, they should have it in a tube instead. The product is so thick that it doesn’t pump out.

More shades

Color balm with an instant effect that refreshes your hair color, giving it a vibrant shine while leaving your locks feeling soft and silky. The color result depends on your current hair shade and its quality. Perfect for colored hair.

Usage:
Avoid applying Colour Bomb to your scalp. One bottle is enough for about 10 applications, depending on your hair length and texture. The color lasts for about 8-10 washes, but it will fade with each wash. It may last longer on bleached hair.
Be sure to wear gloves when applying Colour Bomb. If you get any stains on your skin or fabric, wash them off with shampoo and water. The colors are mixable, so feel free to experiment! We recommend trying it on a small strand first to ensure you achieve your desired result.
