🖤 A true volume favorite from Clarins 🖤
Clarins Super Volume Mascara in 01 Black is truly a mascara for those who like their lashes to be really visible. 🖤 I think mascara can do so much for the entire makeup look, and this is the kind of product I like to use when I want my eyes to feel more defined and open. What I like the most is the volume. I like when lashes get a bit more fullness and not just darker, and this one gives me that more intense feeling that I often go for. One coat works well when I want a more everyday look, but when I want to make the makeup more dramatic, I like to build it up with an additional coat. ✨ I also like that the black color really highlights the lashes. 01 Black feels classic and really suits everything. I can use it with a very simple base and a bit of blush when I want to keep the rest of the makeup quite natural, but it works just as well when I go for a more complete and glamorous look. What I appreciate about a volume mascara is that it can make the lashes feel much more prominent without me having to do much else with my eyes. I usually focus a bit extra on the outer lashes to get a more intense expression, and I think the result looks really nice. 🖤 I also think it works well when I want to adjust the result according to my mood. One day I can apply a thin layer for a more subtle effect, while the next day I can build up several layers when I want more drama. That means I don’t get tired of it as quickly, since I can use it in different ways. For me, this is such a classic mascara that feels easy to grab when I want my eyes to have a bit more focus. Dry!
I had expectations for this. I usually buy Estee Lauder. This one was on special price and I wanted to try it. You can apply it ONCE on the lashes and then it dries in, and everything beyond the first coat clumps and is dry. The best mascara for MY lashes!
I have found the best mascara for my lashes, I am lucky to have long lashes, but not full ones. This one makes my lashes look fuller!
