Hydrate Mask
I've been testing this hair mask for a while now and I'm super satisfied! It's very moisturizing and my hair becomes so soft from it πΈ I have dry and damaged hair, so I need a lot of moisture. It's important for me to really get a detangling effect from my hair products, and I absolutely think this one is detangling π©· Lovely scent and the price is just ridiculously good! Use at least once a week
I'm really positively surprised by Lyko's own hair mask! My dry hair feels much softer, more moisturized, and looks healthier already after a few uses. It doesn't weigh the hair down but just makes it shiny and manageable. Extra big plus for the price β you get really good quality for the money compared to many more expensive alternatives from other brands. Will definitely continue to use it! Pretty okay mask
I have Scandinavian thin hair with fine strands that have bleached lengths. My hair is dry, and even though I have thin hair, I love thick hair masks that make the hair extremely soft. This one from Lyko is okay, nothing wow, but I definitely found it to be softening on my hair. I tested this in combination with the matching conditioner, and after rinsing out the products, I unfortunately didnβt feel that my hair was as soft anymore. Pretty basicβ¦
Since I have my hair (thick and coarse hair strands with texture), I am a heavy user of masks/hair treatments, needed a new one, so I chose this. I have tried quite a bit of Lyko's own brand: ByLyko, and most of it has been good. βΊοΈ But considering that I have the hair type I have, my hair needs a lot of moisture & oil. And unfortunately, this one does not fully deliver. I usually have to use quite a bit of product for my hair. But with this one, I had to use a bit more amount. The packaging is like most ByLyko products: very nice! π And super practical that it comes in a tube, for easy application. The scent is lovely, although quite weak. A bit hard to describe. But it is a bit sweet. Floral? Unfortunately, the consistency is a bit too loose. Which I interpret as there being too little oil in the mask, for what my hair needs. The hair does become quite easy to detangle, and feels like it gets a bit smooth in the lengths. But even though I experience it as a bit smooth, there is still more to wish for. Because my hair still feels quite dry. I have used the hair serum in the same series, and I find that the mask is slightly better than the serum. But it still wasn't a home run.
